Hello everybody, Regarding this special effect for vintage comic book effect. Since that you create and simulate Offset dot points (printing method for print comics ) do you know if the it's possible to use and reproduce this special vintage effect created by this plugin without create moire effect on the printed copies? It is possible to donwload a pdf of one page with this special effect?

Hey Eric, if you're asking wether you can split the color layers separately so you can use them for screen printing for example, you can!

Thanks for the video! Did you hand draw with a display tab the illustration?

Hey! I sketched it on paper, scanned it in and traced it with a tablet, but one without a display. :)

Hey probably a fairly simple question but I just downloaded Inklab and I have all the parameters set up for just the basic halftone print effect but when I press the little play/arrow button my photo just turns into this kaleidoscopic blob of different colors with no resemblance of my previous photo. Any advice? Thanks!

Hey, I think BlkMarket talks about this issue in their own video. It’s on youtube too!

would this work starting with a normal picture?

    • @jessog.x

      as opposed to a animation/illustration

I think so, but the colors might be too washed out because you’d have to scan in your picture

How can you fix the color of old comics like new ones?

yeah, but its still just digital. So when your printing it's not an actual physical, authentic representation of 4color process. I guess it might work on screen but not when printed...

The Inklab plugin can also be used for halftone printing, so it can actually do both. This video was never the purpose of that, it was to simulate this effect on a screen.
