I cannot believe I agree with that man. He’s right but I think Ariana or the people in control of the music production wanted to appeal to her fans. Ariana can belt but her selling point has always been her soft airy moments. Originally they very obviously wanted her to be the next Mariah Carey. even when she belts in her own music it’s not at full power it’s usually tapping into that soft airy siren kind of sound and honestly it makes sense for how they made her Glenda even softer and 🥹🥹 good girl who wants everyone to get along vibe.Very Mary sue in comparison to the original Glenda
