Really nice work. I love the grain patterns of the woods
I'm glad you like it
Gorgeous wall hanging 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Супер! Так все красиво, все операции продуманный. И с какой любовью ты это сделал! Новых тебе хороших работ!
Thanks a lot
What a beautiful piece. It could be hanged on the wall indeed, I wouldn't mind having it in my house. Lucky client, who ordered this!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it
Screw the like button, we need a LOVE THIS button, like isnt sufficient for such unique good work and presentation.
A+ across the board!!!
😂 thank you!!
@@marmotaworks Heading to the shop now with my new battery chainsaw to do some cookies with an unbelievably lucky score on some perfect seasoned red cherry logs I got for free woo best kind!!
The instructions are SO helpful thank you!!!
@@johnnycorn7225 What luck!! It's a very beautiful wood.
Another beautiful piece! Not only are you an amazing woodworker, your editing skills are excellent. I love the stop motion animation!
Thanks! I have a lot to improve; I've only been editing for a year.
Beautiful! I think you found your thing.
Thanks! I think so too
A piece of art wall. How refreshing and new! Well done!
Thanks a lot
Absolutely gorgeous!! The colors that come out after you applied the finish are stunning.
I'm glad you like it
I love your precise work, as always. In addition to this, the bigger wood blocks have some natural texture of complicated black lines (spalted, I mean), which are very beautiful. Spalted wood is usually expensive, but I guess you can get one from a heap of firewood because you are a skilled maestro. Thank you for sharing the video.
Thanks! I was lucky to find this wood in a pile of firewood.
Absolutely beautiful. Love the spalted wood.
Thanks!!
It seems that the wood moves by itself where everything fits. Awesome work congrats!
Gracias Isidret! Y felicidades!!
Love the design!
I'm glad you like it
Hi 👋, great looking 👀 project, I am hoping to have a go later in the year, stay safe, keep up the great art work,
Thanks, I'm glad you like it
Exellent ideea , nice work , thank you ! 👍💯🙂
😄
Your work is stunning!
Thank you!
Looks beautiful on the wall👌🏼 (I would have added a nice thick frame)
😄
The birch is beautiful!
Yes!
Wood God, done it again my friend .renovating my house at the moment and just thinking what would a door like this would look like? .
Thank you! Well, it would be amazing, but I think it would be technically very complicated work.
The colours and patterns in those woods are absolutely breathtaking, you brought them out beautifully.
If you could be any element on the periodic table which one would you be?
Every time I upload a video, I'm waiting for your quirky question. I hope you're not pulling them from a teenage magazine quiz.
I think I'll go with iron; I feel like I'm rusting over time.
@@marmotaworks I like quirky 😁. No I haven't been but that's a great source if I every run out so thanks for the idea!
thereseneedham2130, what would you be?
@@thereseneedham2130 you are wellcome
@@carmengil55 Neon, A Noble Gas. More of an aspiration than defining. Some neon is trapped in earth's crust but being lighter than air, once released floats up free... unless it is put into tubes with a current and then shines bright. Trapped again but pretty and useful. I'd like to be the free Neon in the upper atmosphere.
Close to natural look. Looks very beautiful. Superb ideas apply for the wall piece!
I'm glad you like it!
its very very very nice!
Thank you!
Hi fantastic art wood great video like it good work
Thanks a lot
beautiful!!
Thanks
Wow! So crazy!!! 😮😮😮
Thank you Isa!!
I had a go at this but on a smaller scale.I found using the saker tool worked better for me. I made mine into a key rack for my front door. It's also fun to add glitter in the varnish at the end. Great result.
Thank you! What is a Saker tool?
@@marmotaworks A contour guage. You can get the mini metal one for accuracy for the smaller pieces if you want to do something with a scroll saw.
love the animation in this video, great work and fantastic result 👍
I'm glad you appreciate it; it takes a lot of effort and time.
@@marmotaworks i can imagine, it's a pleasure to watch =)
Great piece! I would leave only the birch, the spalting is magnificent!
I'm glad you like it
Stunning Piece ! 🙏
😄
Such a gorgeous work of art! 👍🏻😊
Many thanks!
Amazing work as always thank you for sharing your experience 🙏🏻
Many thanks!
amazing, love your work God bless you. 😊
Many thanks!
Good morning, I’m writing to you from Italy to congratulate you. I bought my first chainsaw for several months and having many logs of wood I would like to try my hand at the same work as you. However, having no woodworking equipment available, I wondered if you could tell us which machines you use to carry out your fantastic projects. Thank you in advance.
For a project like that, you'll likely need a band saw and a router.
Just amazing!
Thank you!
Very cool! Beautiful work.
Many thanks
Nice! Really!
Thank you!
Beautiful work as always sir !
Thanks a lot.
Very very good.
Many thanks!
Very nice you have given me some great ideas.
I'm glad to hear that
Great build. thks.
Thank you!
Прекрасно! Изумительно! Очаровательно! Прелестно! Умопомрачительно!Красиво! Здорово !, привет из России!
Many thanks for all your compliments!
Very nice!
Could I ask how many hours go into a project like this, and how long it takes from start to finish, maybe including the time needed to dry the wood?
About 40 hours to build it. The drying time for the wood depends a lot on its moisture content.
@@marmotaworks thanks! I see now how my question about drying time is unanswerable, hadn't taken into account different moisture contents xD
Very Nice..Could be used as a table top too.
Yes, it could
Nice. 👍
Thanks!
Dear friend.. excellent job as always!!! You have inspired me so much that i also got hooked up in woodworking. Thank you. I have a question for you. Am wondering about the pieces (puzzle) of wood that they are so close to each other, if the epoxy that penetrates in between them, is enough to hold them together through out time or if you are using something else for strength to hold them together. TIA.
For an artwork that only needs to be hung on the wall, it holds up perfectly. When I make tables like that, I usually place a wooden board underneath.
@@marmotaworks thanx for your reply 👍👍
Amazing work. I enjoyed watching the whole video. What kind of osmo polyx oil did you use. Clear or colored?
Thanks. it's clear
Amazing workings
Thanks
Incrível! Parabéns marmota!
Trabalho lindo! 😉
Muito obrigado Andre!
Do you let your first epoxy pour set before pouring the second, or just pour them all at the same time? Also, where do you get the charcoal from?
I pour everything at the same time.
I bought the charcoal on Amazon.
I've got the same bandsaw. What blade do you find works best? I spend ages setting it up every time I use it. Great job.
I am impressed, such an inexpensive saw that withstands all the rough tasks I put it through.
I use a 6 mm blade for curves.
What do you use to glue the wood down before you pour the epoxy?
Silikon
Very nice !
What is the brand of the finish coat ?
Osmo polix oil
@@marmotaworks 👍🙏
Beautiful. How long did this take to make?
About 40 hours
I want one. Probably can't afford you. But it's absolutely beautiful.
Thanks! I don't know what your budget is, but I try to price my works not too high.
Amazing! ! What finish did you use here?
Osmo. Do you know it?
Yes I do know osmo the brand, but didn't use it yet.. Is it a hard wax oil?
@@salomonmiller2061 yes, osmo polix oil
That’s incredible! I want one of this ❤ where can I do an order?

Do you use 80 glass paper to smooth edges to 90 degrees?
Yes, I think it was 80.
Однозначно лайк. А чо за дерево?
beech
great, whats kind of these two wood?
Birch and Walnut
When can we expect something conpletely different from you? I for one would love to see this type of project turned into a beautiful guitar body or something. The end grain might make it tricky to route the neck joint though.
You're right, I have to do something different. However, I receive commissions for these types of jobs and take the opportunity to make the video. But I need to find time to create a different video.
This is expensive know😀, bcoz it's so superb👌🎉🙏.
