BEST VALEDICTORIAN SPEECH EVER | CLASS OF 2024

On May 26, 2024, Sahana Saravanan addressed Howard W. Blake High School of the Arts' Class of 2024 as its magnet valedictorian.
Sahana majored in theater and was the Vice President of Student Government and National Honor Society. Sahana has been a significant contributor to the school's music and theater programs, performing roles in several productions, and most recently, she completed her vocal Carnatic graduation concert.
Sahana will attend New York University, where she plans to major in Music Business and Economics and minor in Social Entrepreneurship. She aspires to be a social music entrepreneur and already runs her own nonprofit called The Sahana Music Foundation (www.sahanamusicfoundation.org), which aims to educate children and older adults on how to utilize music as a therapeutic medium.
