1. Download Anaconda
1.1 Visit the Anaconda Website:
► Go to the official Anaconda website: Anaconda Distribution.
1.2. Download the Installer:
► Scroll down to the "Download" section.
► Choose the Windows option.
► Select the 64-Bit (x86) Installer. Anaconda may automatically detect your ► system and offer the correct installer.
► Click on the download link to get the .exe file.
2. Install Anaconda
2.1 Run the Installer:
► Locate the downloaded .exe file and double-click it to start the installation.
2.2 Choose Installation Options:
► On the setup screen, click "Next" to begin the installation process.
► Read and accept the license agreement by clicking "I Agree."
► Choose whether to install Anaconda just for you (recommended) or for all users.
► Choose the installation location. The default is typically fine, but you can change it if needed.
► Add Anaconda to your PATH environment variable (optional but recommended if you're not using other Python distributions).
► Click "Install" to start the installation process.
2.3 Complete the Installation:
► The installation might take several minutes. Once completed, you can optionally choose to launch Anaconda Navigator.
3. Verify the Installation
3.1 Open Anaconda Navigator:
► After the installation, search for "Anaconda Navigator" in the Windows Start menu and open it.
► Anaconda Navigator is a GUI that allows you to manage environments and launch applications like Jupyter Notebook.
3.2 Launch Jupyter Notebook:
► In Anaconda Navigator, you will see a list of applications. Click the "Launch" button under Jupyter Notebook to open it in your default web browser.
4. Using Jupyter Notebook
4.1 Create or Open a Notebook:
► In Jupyter Notebook, you can create new notebooks by clicking on the "New" button and selecting "Python 3" (or any other environment you have set up).
► You can also open existing notebooks from the file browser.
4.2 Start Coding:
► You can start coding in Python by typing code into the cells and executing them with Shift + Enter.
