He's trying to turn her back into a human. The animations are insanely good and the storytelling and fight scenes are top notch. You should definitely give it a try out.

(The user's sword and the user themself glows with a light aura while the color of the aura and projectiles depends on your sword color, while in this state the user can perform very unique and certain slashes in a certain rhythm almost similar to how a note dances on a note chord.) First form: Musicality! (Creates a plainfield with music notes that are projectiles made out of sound waves slightly visible in the vicinity which give off a glow, while in the vicinity the user gains control over gravity, as the notes aren't controlled by gravity they stay a float, anyone or anything that touches these notes shall explode on contact. Also since there's no gravitational pull it gives the user a advantage turning the attack into a secret technique: Beat drop! (User can send the note projectiles at the enemy at will with heavy force and high speed or if need be disable them.)
