I like live version of The Clash songs with Ian Dury's keybordist, i think it was their peak doing concerts they were really sloppy doing them but it had it's Magic
Boy - cheats the gambling partners. (The Clash ska version referred to record of the English group The Rulers (1967). This is an american "traditional" tune, about gambler cowboys). Boyo: variant of "boy" in Irish; or Welsch, pejorative.
Strummer said those very words . Topper could play funk ,jazz etc . He could also play both guitar and piano ,as you probably know he wrote the music to Rock The Casbah and Lightning Strikes.
I kind of miss the horns that the album version has but I still really like this. Though, speaking of, did The Clash ever at all tour or at least do a few or so shows with a horn section?
This is actually an uptempo cover of another song but it references other songs as well. Mildly brilliant actually. The question isn't what an "'em boyo" is. It's what is a 'wrong 'em'. This starts to be more clear. To wrong somebody is well known. "Wrong 'em boyo" refers to cheating, deception, underhandedness, etc, directed to people in general. Why do you wrong 'em boyo. It is the 'wrong 'em boyo', it's the circumstance of you doing it again, directed to the person the song is about. 'Why are you such a cheat, a fraud, a liar, a sneak'. It's another case of Clash-ese speak, similar in idea to the lyrics of 'Spanish bombs'.
I am bad about whenever this song comes up on my ipod, I just play over and over for about an hour.

I was in heaven the day I found out Cavan Grogan and Joe Strummer were pals
Que bien suena la bateria de Nicky topper Headon
Topper Headon undoubtedly was the best musician among them.
Incredibly gifted.
That's not even debatable. But, truth be said, Mick was the master arranger.

Who was their touring keyboardest?
***** I believe it is Mick Gallagher who played keyboards with Ian Dury & The Blockheads. He worked on London Calling.
and on "Sandinista"
