@@skw333831 The difference is that letting them build a board means that they have the opportunity to potentially outplay you if they are capable of predicting what you intend to do, whereas stopping them from playing the game in the first place means that you don't actually want to play Yugioh, you just want to play solitaire. Yugioh is a two player game. People like you (i.e. people who refuse to acknowledge that fact) are the reason why it sucks right now. I honestly dont understand the hate for runick. Deck is honestly bad if your opponent has any interaction you just minus yourself into oblivion to do anything
Coder is so based, lol. Hating on Stun while also playing Runick. Honestly, decks like Stun shouldn't exist. At least Tenpai can be stopped, at least Runick can be interacted with, at least big negate boards lose to powerful spells and traps, but if the Stun player just gets 1 of their 40 cards that don't allow you to play the game, and it's their turn 1, you lose. It sucks to play as and play against.
Stun's Own Limitations: Stun players often have to carefully manage their limited resources. They rely on drawing the right cards to establish and maintain control, and their strategies can crumble if the opponent manages to break through their initial setup. Outs and Adaptation: Modern Yu-Gi-Oh! provides numerous tools to deal with stun strategies. Side-decking cards like Harpie's Feather Duster, Cosmic Cyclone, Dark Ruler No More, or even hand traps can turn the tide. Losing to stun is often a result of not preparing for it. Skill in Stun Play: While it might look simple, piloting a stun deck effectively requires strategic thinking. Choosing when to use your limited traps or floodgates, balancing resources, and predicting your opponent's moves takes skill. Diversity in the Game: Stun adds variety to the game. Without such strategies, the game would lean even more heavily towards fast-paced combo decks, reducing the diversity of playstyles.
@danielaburger9380 Okay but like, you're saying this from the perspective of the TCG/OCG format, with side decking. Master Duel is a best of 1 format. You can't really prepare for anything. You just use a deck that can stand among the common decks and go. If you're specifically trying to play an anti-stun deck, you lose to everything else. There's not much that can both beat stun consistently and also contest the best decks in the format. On top of that, most decks are centered around monsters and special summons. Anything that outright locks you out of that can pretty much win you the game on the spot. I know where you're coming from, Yu-Gi-Oh is more skillful than people would have you believe, but there's a major difference between BO1 and BO2/BO3 formats. And in a BO1 format, we really shouldn't have decks like Stun, like Tenpai, decks that try to invalidate what the opponent is doing.
@@danielaburger9380 Because combo decks designed to lock the opponent out of play are inconsistent, even with the best hands, and lose to simple interruption. The best combo decks over the years have been actually 1-2 negate boards with heavy emphasis on resource management. Leads to potentially longer games and the decks are more robust and fun for both players. Think Sprights, Sky Strikers and Tear. Tenpai runs 25 hand traps and a 15 card deck, where they only need to draw 1 of those 15 to get a consistent OTK. Stun needs a barrier statue and something to pop the normal summon. That's it.
@@CrimsoniteSP No that's not enough. You need to predict your Opponents moves and time limited interruptions well. Claiming you just need Barrier Statue and a pop is most likely not going to lead to a win while it is a strong lock.

Hard disagree i have an insane win rate with runik stun. The reason stun players dont win alot is because they have no idea how to interact with other decks and no follow up to plan A failing.
Idk about you guys, but I'd rather see Barrier Statue atun win than Runick... at least until the Statue player activates fountain, lol
You talking bad on his stun strategy while playing runick is wild. Yall are the problem with yu gi oh
Just play yubel. Most boring deck ever but idk I guess you just need to play better.
to be fair max c is balanced. if your opponent summons 20 times you should be drawing so you have a chance to out their board
Most braindead take yet. Have you noticed you can use maxx c after building your board and having 5 negates to make sure it resolves?
Not a good reason tbh. As the guy above me states, there is nothing stopping combo decks from using Maxx c.
With 20 cards you can out 3 boards not 1
It’s not tho?
Mans complaining about stun and other decks when playing the most toxic deck
Runick players can't complain about other decks
Is mfs only existence is to watch coder only to hate on him
Its runick fur hire. Big difference. That being the lack of floodgates
My guy it’s runic fur hire you’re thinking of runic stun that’s the toxic variant
guess ygo players are also blind thats crazy
You dumb or stupid?
stop playing bad decks
Runick is just as cringe/toxic/brain dead as any meta deck.
You’re thinking of runic stun this is runic fur hire
@@TheFrozen_Aba Runick stun is worse, but I just hate runick in general. It's about as fun an interactive as playing against labyrinth. Runick, sprite, labyrinth, are all just as toxic as any meta deck.
@ no it’s not what? Runic when used outside of stun is so fun to duel against what???? So is Lab when they’re not playing stun cards
Your fault for playing runick
What’s wrong with runic fur hire?
I swear, high level gameplay with people you don't know in this game is rage inducing, and the thing is... we all keep coming back, because even tho 90% of the time, playing yu gi oh against strangers(especially in MD) is as fun as performing a DIY lobotomy (it hurts and kills brain cells at an alarming rate), that 10 percent of incredible serotonin you get from niche interactions, good games and outplays is what keeps us coming back like a bunch of crackheads or old people at a casino. but the worst part. is that konami knows this, and is just abusing the shit out of it🥲. Stay strong brothers, I don't know what the solution is, but it's not to just keep giving konami levrage, because we know how good there game can really be... even more than they do
