Thank you... it kind of worked with my new Samsung S24 Ultra phone. The new phone is so bright, that the Whatsapp app on the old phone couldn't take a picture of the QR code, so I had to take a screenshot of the QR code, go to my pictures and use that for scanning it, then I quickly went back to Whatsapp, so I could accept the transfer.

No!! Unless you don't do backup first.
Other videos show it. This one doesn't. And as people mentioned here already - not doing backup might result loosing Whatsapp data

DON'T do as this guy explains. First, you need to BACKUP your chats. I have lost my chat history because Transfer stuck in the middle. And when you start transferrig you cant go back to your old phone anymore. Backup first. This video ruined my Whatsapp.

Only 2 years transferred, 8 years did not transfer. But I still have my master. Whatsapp on my old phone, thank god. I did backup last night on the old phone backing up three gigabytes of data, so I am safe.

When I used WhatsApp on the new phone, it only had 2 years worth of backup. It also would not allow you to do backup to the cloud with Google. So therefore, there is no way of doing backup manually on the new phone. So now I have deleted the new phone. What's app. I am very grateful. I did not lose all my information on the old phone. It is working very good normal.
