It's the same, it can withstand several armies at once without hitting natural regen cap. You don't even need path of glory, with just having 3 or 4 with the healing ability is more than enough.

Currently playing a woc play through and you can build almost undefeatable army’s with 3-5 of the nurgle heros with a caster and lord. Most times my army sits in the corner and the hero squad plus a caster stomps on everything. Currently have 7 armies build like this. So strong. Kholek plus a caster and 4 nurgle healers stomped out 3 full stacks of cathay without a problem even though they have so much fire power in missles.
tried it already, though you take more damage, chariot def works even against woodelves, you can push through frontline infantry easily and the heals are so good, you can out heal a few units of non-amor-piercing archers with no sweat
This is one of the best Chaos doomstacks, but it takes a long time to get. It is better with Archaon since he gives +4 hero capacity for Exalted heroes, otherwise, you need to conquer the entire chaos wastes.
Hey Legend, great vid! I’ve actually been working on this doomstack since your Khorne video suggested it… it is INSANE. (The submission wasn’t mine). Some things I’ve found: 1. 19 of them is honestly overkill. 9-10 of them are MORE than enough, especially if you start using some of the abilities like chaos commander and all of their various personal weapon buffs. All buffed up, 10 Nurgle champions melted a full drycha crisis doomstack in about 45 seconds. Their damage output is INSANE. 2. I don’t know why, they feel bugged or something, but the Nurgle heroes just do way more damage than the Khorne ones. If you stuck a few khornies in here and compared end game damage the Nurgle fellas pretty consistently do 2x the damage of the Khorne. 3. You really don’t need Festus at all for this doomstack. Mine has an undivided daemon prince just because the stack was already so strong I decided not to bother dedicating him to a god, he doesn’t really do anything except smash towers and cast burning head occasionally So yeah. I’d actually say you could have withheld points from this particular stack because it’s overkill. Festus can be more effectively used with basically any other army that actually needs him. And you don’t need to use basically every available hero slot for this doomstack to be VERY good.
This is definitely still viable without healing cap increase, i have a Nurgle hero stack running around with Azazel in my Be'Lakor campaign. It wouldn't be "literally invincible" level of strong without bugged healing cap though
@@JustSome462 Oh I absolutely agree this one would still be extremely strong. Hero stacks often are. Many of the healing focused ones still would be fantastic, but like you state it's capacity for invincibility removed.

Those exalted champions get damage reflection and can get regen as a trait. I've played three festus campaigns in IE so far and I have *never* had an exalted champion die in battle. They're so tanky it's ridiculous. Only downside to this is that you need 19 dark fortresses. You can slot in giants as a stopgap until you get the full stack if you want.
You need to make your grading system like decibles or earthquakes...logarithmic so that 1 point is not simply 1 point higher but a whole magnitute stronger.
That would be cool to see Exalted hero vs Exalted hero doomstacks. I don't think there is a way to even do that though. The most you could do would be a tier comparison.
Console commands can do it, and honestly that's probably where most of these doomstacks he reviews are made. You just build the campaign and army using console commands. Then remove the mod, save it, and send to legend for review.
Honestly nurgle should have fewer entities in their mortal units. Healing is only useful on the living and even with the hp boost they just feel like slower marauders. And CA should make the technologies and chaos gifts give buffs for both mortal and daemon units. I understand that warriors of chaos should lean more towards a mortal lineup, but they should balance this by making high tier Daemons more expensive while still being close to their Daemon faction versions. An idea would be a small decrease in maximum winds of magic depending on the tier of the Daemon unit. Kinda like that magic is being used as an anchor for the Daemonic entities in the army. Anyone can quote me on this if they agree.
Only thing I can think of that would wreck this army would be the Ogre Ironblaster Boomaker army. even at 90% save Festus would go down in one volley. Might still be an absolute scrap to clean up though lol I'd love to see those two armies fight

Eventually might take CA a year or two. And Nurgle exalted heroes will still be op after the fix, specially with festus to raise the healing cap. But it's only in campaign so it's not an issue. AI can't use build this and it's up-to player if they want to cheese or not and to a what point.
A few of these babies in your slannesh army does wonders for hellscourges. Now i think about it i might try and make a slaaneshy version of this to try and work out if theres a movement speed cap. I'd also love to know what the melee reflection damage amount was in this fight
Out of curiosity, is there a hardcap to your minimum hit chance with any given unit in the game? Even if you debuff enemies to like 0 MA and your MD is 100+?
8 units of warplock jezzails + 4 full stacks of skaven slaves + 11 units of ratling guns with the jezzails + ikit claw could probably kill it if the jezzails instantly kill festus that is
Nearly impossible to accomplish unless you're doing a co-op campaign so doing so would take easily over 20 hours before you can even pit the two armies against one another.

Not in a co-op campaign (campaign type) (you can't fight each other). BUT, you could do a FFA campaign in which the players co-op in-game and then "betray" each other late in the campaign. Assuming your save file doesn't get corrupted in the meantime . . . :( (We're 0 for 4 in finished co-op campaigns because the save files keep getting corrupted :( )
Hey legend, i want to start of by saying i realy enjoyed your rating your doomstack videos when you first did them for warhammer 2. Since i feel like "back then" you had to put some effort into making one and not as many things were a doomstack. Because of that the rating system made sense just to get a good mesurement of how good they are. However i feel like in warhammer 3 the rating system dosent realy make that much sense and i would realy like it if you could either add some more critiria to the list like for example how easy it is to get the doomstack (for example a hero doomstack like this would rate badly on said point since you need a lot of provinces to make it), how costly they are , or something like that. My other improvent idea was that you could stop rating them and maybe revamp the series into something like "Doomstack or Poopstack" were you simply give a verdict on if the shown army counts as a doomstack. Anyways that all i wanted to say still enjoy your stream mate!
Since a daemon prince can also provide extra healing cap, could you use this with Ku'gath, since resources are easier to come by than dark fortresses for expanding the hero cap?
Played quite alot of festus lately and everytime i make a meatshit blob, those times i do get hit by insane amonth of magic dmg, the army usually are able to recover fully, recruited 2 zombie units and used them as meatshield, got into battle against beltasar, dryad, tho dryad was annoying when she reset my cooldown, i was able to just bulldoze thro it
Using Festus to heal and provide free unlimited balance of power is breaking your rules of "not using lords or heroes spells or abilities because they are not part of the test" there is essentially no difference btw with his super OP healing skill, the balance of power increase is insane and you are not being consistent. I assume the score would still be better than the Khorne hero stacks atleast against non single entities spams enemies thou. Edit: Personally I do not mind that much which method you use but I think that pointing out arbitatry different methods used and lack of consistency, specially with the game being buggy as frick with the "healing cap" skills being way better that they are supposed to be for example. Don't take this comment as hostile I still love the video. We might need someone to test animations on mounts on WH3 I assume still the Juggernaut animations might be better than regular Chaos Horse or horses in general but one thing that has supposedly been changing if ever slighty is animation on certain units and mounts.

Festus and aspiring champions or giants are awesome, you need just a few (for early game).
Just an idea. Would it be interesting to fight doom stacks against each other. That’s 1 way of eating them
A few of these babies in your slannesh army does wonders for hellscourges. Now i think about it i might try and make a slaaneshy version of this to try and work out if theres a movement speed cap.
I'd also love to know what the melee reflection damage amount was in this fight
20 exalted bloodthisters
Content idea: doomstack vs doomstack
It's a 💩 out of ten. (Make big daddy Nurgle proud)
Doomstack of Apocalypse
Out of curiosity, is there a hardcap to your minimum hit chance with any given unit in the game? Even if you debuff enemies to like 0 MA and your MD is 100+?
8 units of warplock jezzails + 4 full stacks of skaven slaves + 11 units of ratling guns with the jezzails + ikit claw could probably kill it
if the jezzails instantly kill festus that is
Is there any way to actually pit some of these 10/10 doomstacks against each other? Like in a co-op campaign?
Vielich Vs. This doomstack ? Maybe an idea for a new series if this is possible?
Nearly impossible to accomplish unless you're doing a co-op campaign so doing so would take easily over 20 hours before you can even pit the two armies against one another.
@@TheGodzebra doesnt he stream a campaign for like 7 hours a day, so two and a half streams then turn the fight into a video?
@@RunThermal Seems like a lot of buildup for very little payoff though.
@@RunThermal yea, but he doesn't do coop anymore and he really got tired of livestreaming wh3 for now. Plus: he is worn out by the livestreams in general that's why he is gonna stop doing them entirely by 2023.
And yea, like Tanner R said, that would be a lot of buildup for a short answer.
I always pronounced Festus' faction as Fe-cun-dites
Should it be that way or how Legend pronounces it here, as Fe-cun-dee-tees?
Fekkun-daits is correct yes. :P
@@CottonPanzer I'm not a native English speaker, so I get confused at times. Thanks for the info!
@@ZoMbi5lAy3r to be fair to legend the word isn't exactly common in English. I think either pronunciation is fine but I also pronounce it as Fe-cun-dites
Amazing what you can pull off with 20 smelly bois
This army could creditably take on 4 10/10 doom-stacks at the same time i think. Does that place it in a tier of its own?
This army could even take out Kairos optimal doomstack it is that insane
Hey i just got a tought, would it be possible to have two players create already known Doomstacks in a Coop Campaign and then have them face each other. That way we can truly see which one is the most glorius, magnificent and cheesiest of them all !!
I said it was over powered in your khorne video
14:24 nice pile of bodies
Does this army stack up to the Hochland long-rifle doomstack?
This or the WH2 Pompous lizardmen hero doom stack?
Wait is the correct pronunciation Feh-kun-di-tease?!?! I've been saying "Feh-kund-aightz" the whole time!
what if this doomstack goes against the iron blaster doomstack with the hunters???????
I beleive CA will nerf the heal per second that festus gives. It seems a bit too strong and fun for their tastes
Should have had a Fire sorcerer, with no armor he would obliterate enemy infantry
spirit leech on festus :P
or wound the heroes one by one haha
Healing cap still being broken is very silly.
11/10
Do you think the skaven assassin doom stack would be able to deal enough damage to kill this?
TWW3 doomstack tierlist when?
Hold alt while targeting spells to free cast without snapping
10:05 what even happened lmao
Who would win, this doomstack or Vilitch the one man army? Place your bets!
Is the battle healing cap cut short by fire damage?
Healing rate is cut, so you heal slower.
Man, make a new rating system, like having a score for power, one for easy of make, one for easy of use or something like it
Who would win this or Villich
