I am HEAVILY into music and concerts... this is my daughter's favorite band so I took her when they came to Vegas. For only 2 guys it's one of the best shows I've ever seen!!!!!!!
I saw Twenty One Pilots back in February of 2017 for the first time after begging my parents for years but it was so hard bc their concerts got a bit more and more expensive as they began to grow rapidly in popularity, and when I finally got to see them, even tho it was a huge arena they still performed with the same energy and tried to provide the same connection and same intimacy that they give when they performed in small venues. It’s AMAZING seeing artists in such big venues still try to connect and get intimate with as many people in the audience as possible as if they were in a small venue again. It feels genuine. Tyler was literally running up stairs to get to people who weren’t on the ground floor to hug as many people who were pretty far from the stage as he was able to,, and you know it’d be impossible for him to hug everyone in the venue or else we would all probably be there til the next night and he’d still be trying to hug everyone lmao. I also saw Halsey 9 months after I saw twenty one pilots and she did the same thing, running up stairs and all around the arena to try to connect with as many fans as she could that weren’t able to afford or just couldn’t buy the floor or VIP tickets. It felt so special, like they actually care for their fans. It’s the fact they don’t HAVE to go out of their way to go up to the fans who are far from the stage bc they couldn’t get closer, but they do anyways to show the love they have for their fans. A lot of artists usually barely interact with the people on the ground level and some even barely interact with their VIP section as well. Twenty One Pilots, Halsey, and other artists don’t have to interact with the audience who didn’t purchase as good of tickets, but the fact they do, and they’ll extend their songs to go on longer to reach as many as they can, truly shows that there is genuine care and love they have for their fans.
Apparently being at that particular show was an amazing coincidence or whatever if you were at that show you got to see so many hits performed when they were really energetic and Tyler his voice was just prime. I've noticed in the current ones he doesn't scream as much because after 10 years of screaming I'm pretty sure you're not gonna want to hurt your throat every time you go. The fact that he has a child and a wife and a family life and amazing music I am over joyed with the band always! Plus, kudos to Joshua is becoming more and more of an amazing speaker and representative for the band when Tyler is sick of it!

I will tell you something - I had a similar reaction first time I watched "holding onto you". then I watched more of their live performances and their lyrics and energy drew me in....then my daughter told me she was into them...and then we went and saw them live. not only once, but twice...and the boys are so meticulous and detail oriented, so intense, and they have so much clean fun! its a joy to watch, they are great role models...not only for me but also for my girls...I'm so PROUD to be a twenty one pilots FAN. when are you going? you need to commit.
I saw them in Spokane a few years back. Small venue. The absolute best concert experience of my life. They brought the same energy as if there were thousands of us there. Cannot recommend a live show enough.
Their liveshows are among the best I've ever been to, and I've been to over 50. They're so good live and do such unique things, like this where Tyler stands on the crowd.

TwentyOnePilots honestly define this era of music so well. They are by far my favourite band of all time and favourite artist of all time. I was lucky enough to watch them live when they where over in the UK and honestly I have never felt involved in my life with a concert.
