- Today's video continues down highway 1, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, to the gorgeous town of Carmel-By-The-Sea! Carmel neighbors the city of Monterey, which we featured in last week's video, however, it's a totally different vibe.
In today's video we are going to share our experience exploring Carmel by the Sea and the famous 17 miles drive!

The Carmel beach is where I proposed to my wife, so naturally have to give the city and this video a 10/10 rating
How sweet! You picked an amazing spot!
Up until 12,000 years ago Monterey cypresses were all over the CA coast. Now the two last stands are in Point Lobos and Pebble Beach where the trees are so beloved they have names.
So happy I found your channel! My sister just moved to California and had said this was one of her favorite places so far - it was wonderful to get to see it all through you guys! ❤
Awww thanks so much! That's so sweet!

So glad you enjoyed our video! Thanks for watching!
I love the fairytale houses too. PCH is beautiful and has so many great places to see and camp along the way. 😊 I love the music you picked too, btw. Perfect for misty, moody, coastal California 😊
awwww I'm glad you liked our video! We were considering camping around here at first, but everything was booked already! Must be some good spots!
@@TouristtoLocal A lot of them in Big Sur (summertime) have to be booked a year in advance. 😲
I stumbled upon your channel and watched the one in Monterey and this Carmel one. You two seem so happy and I wish you all the best. I was going to say you need to video Juliana more, but then I thought if it works for you guys, go ahead.
Glad you found us! Thanks for the support!

Seems to be a popular stop on many road trip itineraries. We hope to get there someday.
I'd so it's worth stopping by on a roadtrip! Thanks for watching!
Wonderful place. Just need to hit the Mega Millions to live there.
Truth!
OMG REAL CANNOLIS!!!! PISTACHIOS YUM 👍👍👍👍😄😄
SOOOO GOOOOOD!
You guys didnt go to the Mission! Its got a dome! Im guessing your guys are limited on time. Carmel Bakery looked DELISH!!!
I know its the middle of summer but was it chilly up there? My mom & dad want to go but they get cold easily. Another great vid "Like"
We almost went to the mission, but we ran out of time! The weather in the summer IS actually a little chilly! We would have been cold without jackets. Thanks for watching!
nice!
You're back! Thanks for watching!
I just sold my business there :) such a lovely city.
It's a really great place!
Fun video! Too bad there wasn't better weather while you were here. :( Looks like it didn’t slow you down, tho. Nos gustan mucho sus videos de viajes mexicanos y es genial verlos en nuestro vecindario. :)
Gracias por ver nuestro video! Abrazos
I was there yesterday as well. I wish the weather was better but the area is breathtaking.
Omg, you should have been here last week.
By the way, do you know Aaron or Jacob?
Weather is the best part
The only thing you really have to watch out for is it is the old people here do not know how to drive it I’ll cut in front of you forget the lights green and I think it’s red still salon otherwise is a great time I’ve been here a year now and I love it
Hey are you going to check out check out Mission Ranch Clint Eastwood on that place that’s a really nice place I love it
Ooooh sounds awesome! Thanks for the recommendation.
What is the name of the place where you had the fish and chips ?
Brophy's Tavern!
When I lived there in the late 90s, 17 mile drive was 7 bucks. How much now?
It's up to $11.25 now!
How was the Guinness?☘️💚
Martīn says it rocked!
FYI: It's pronounced CarMEL, not CARmel.
Well, for car week....
Thanks for the clarification! It's one of those places we've only read about, not heard about, so we weren't sure :)
@@TouristtoLocal I used to live in Pacific Grove which is right next to Carmel. Wish I could afford to live there now. It's so beautiful.
