Awsome! I put the LRP .28 in my Savage xl still have to tune that also. This NY weather is nuts 1 day it's summer and then changes to winter. Thanks for watching.
Hey bro, nice to see some new stuff on your channel, your ST looks awesome with the additional decals👌 It must be so nice to have such a backyard where you can simply let run the nitros there😎 By the way, great idea to adapt the rotostart on it,since Kyosho swapped to the Force engines like most of the Hpi“s ,it“s in fact plug and play…The ke25 is a rebranded Force engine , good to know in order to get cheaper spare parts 😊.Big like from here and wish you a nice weekend
Thank you very much!! The roto start make it so much easier. After filming l went to run another tank to start tuning it and started raining. At least it held out to make a video.. Thanks for watching.
@@rcshowoff5427 Welcome!Absolutely , specially during the break-in phase it"s very usefull. Oh,that sucks, hopefully you have tomorrow some better less wet weather 🙂 Today the weather here was fabulous, so I used it to give the HPI Racing MT2 of my son the final engine tune 😏
I live at 5,100' and the factory settings were fine for the first tank of the break in, however it was far too rich and the truck would not even move on tank #2, I had to lean it out by half a turn in order to have enough power for the truck to move.
That's what this was doing wouldn't move but had the break-in restrictor in the carb.I took it out for this last tank first time iv had a nitro with a restrictor..Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you! I had the roto start in an old parts bin. I did some research most big block and small block roto's fit each other. There is a few sizes on Ebay with measuring graph also.
I found this roto start on Ebay. You can't look up the car to find it. I had to measure to fit 12mm hex and 32mm bolt pattern. Stock pull start is from Kyosho website
I really don't have a link. I bought the roto start at my hobby shop. But if you search. 18 nitro roto start it should pop up. I believe it's a 12mm hex and 32mm bolt pattern.
I’m gonna end up buying all used Nitro RC’s because it always makes me cringe a little when I Drive a new one and starts to get all full of sand and dirt
Great vids! Upstate NY here. Just picked mine up last week along with an LRP 28. Looking forward to running this thing.
