It sounds like you are losing and gaining compression in the tank as you run. As the fuel warms the pressure increases but you are losing it somewhere, air leak maybe. Not sure. Would have to tinker with it. Its a matter of elimination.
Hello I'm thinking the same. I just put all new fuel line on but haven't had a chance to test it. The factory fuel line broke in 2 places while I was changing it. Hopefully that it the problem. Thanks for watching!
You may want to check inside your fuel tank to see if the fuel filter has not broken off. If the filter breaks off it gets stuck in a position that makes the truck hard to prime and will cause the truck to sputter. I have the same truck and I thought about removing the filter from inside the tank and just adding a filter to the fuel line instead. My opinion the fuel tank filter may be to restrictive.
Did you ever get this sorted out? I'm on the fence between this truck and the Savage XL 5.9. Both have their issues and can be worked around, just trying to figure out which one to pull the trigger on.
There has to be a small crack or leak in the tank seal to the fuel line somewhere causing a half tank lean out. My guess is a cracked tank or I’m wrong
Hello!! It doesn't seem to have any leaks iv checked but the fuel lines seem to be junk. I even have trouble getting a good prime also . You may be on to something I'll change the tank seal also. Thank you..
@@rcshowoff5427 If I can help then that puts a smile on my face. Uno I was thinking one time on my Revo 3.3 the tank pick up line was cracked inside also. Double check it with fuel in it blow backwards in it and see if any bubbles comes out of the tank passing through the line or the pick up connection Blow pressure in the tank right side up and upside down and sideways and look for them bubbles if there’s a internal fuel issue or leak it will show itself right away 🤘😎
@@rcshowoff5427 Yeah that’s what I figured. Not sure why Hobao does that. I have the MT Plus II and after 1st big bash I had a bent shock rod and 2 rod ends busted. Went with Proline MX 38’s (which are shorter) and now 20’ plus jumps doesnt phase it a bit. I appreciate you checking that for me !
Mine has also been doing this have you sorted this problem? and have you had difficulties tuning this car? because I can’t get my head around why it runs great one minute then next goes either to Rich or lean and mine doesn’t shift into second at all.
Hello. Iv recently changed out all the fuel line. Iv found the factory line seemed dried out and hard. I haven't tested it yet but I'll be making another video on this truck soon. I also had a broken part in the transmission and would not shift either but now that's fixed.

Yes . Cheap fuel lines. Installed new lines from Traxxas runs much better now. Going to makea new video soon on this truck.

Does the chassis bottom out before the shocks do? Or are the tires too tall? Thanks.
Shocks seem to bottom first.

Hello. Yes fixed and shifting. I had to replace the internal shifting parts. It did com broken but didn't notice during brake in.
