As a fan of the franchise since the beginning and as someone who is actually pretty stoked for this movie, I will say this was a really well edited and put together trailer I really thought for a second it was from the studios. I really liked the opening showing the past/history. I'm so friggin excited to see this!!!

I know this Ghostface seems so evil and Brutal they aren't playing around that's for sure I know some people don't agree with me and that's cool but the way Ghostface seems so brutal in this Scream reminds me of how brutal Stu was and one of the Ghostface is really tall in here just like Stu Matthew Lillard is 6 foot 3 just saying not saying I am right just putting a theory out there that's all.
Because in the first one Kevin Williamson confirmed that Stu is the one who killed Casey Becker and look what he did to her he cut her open and hung her from a tree.
Soho's "Whisper to a Scream" cover at the end is a nice touch of nostalgia. I think this is going to be a good entry in the Scream franchise, which (let's be honest) has had its ups-and-downs.

Nope. The killer is probably a typical high school teenager whose only real motive is to desperately try to out do the original and previous screams. The only real scream will always be the first one and the only real true clutch killer will always be Roman from scream 3. Scream 4 and probably 5 as well are nothing but amateur sequels that are made just for the bottom line which is obviously money.
I know. I REALLY wanted to use that music and taking Padelecki’s line out throws off the flow.. I figured “oh my God” is something you’d say if Ghostface was standing behind you 🤷🏼♂️

I share your Stu theory. I made my first Scream 5 concept trailer in June 2020 right after the movie was announced (it’s on this channel). The concept was a direct sequel to the original called ‘Scream’ (not Scream 5) where Stu was engaging his followers from jail to finish his original movie on the 25th anniversary of the first Woodsboro Murders. The first victim is the new owner of Stu’s old house and the overall theme was ‘toxic fandom gone too far.’ So far I’ve predicted the title, Stu’s house playing a key role and the toxic fandom theme. I feel in my guts that I’m gonna be right about Stu because that’s how Wes Craven originally planned to end Sidney’s story in Scream 3. #Scream #ScreamMovie 😱🩸
