For those who don't speak Swiss German, here's my translation of the first half of the interview. (The second half is about Nemo's involvement in LGBT politics, especially NB and trans rights and visibility, in Switzerland. Probably of less interest to non-Swiss, so I skipped translating that.) *Moderator: So, of course now I have a few questions for you, Nemo. Since ESD -- crazy! -- what's happened?* Nemo: Pfft, what's happened?! *M: How has your life changed?* N: Wow, I'm not really sure what to say. It's so nice that I can be here, that you're all here, that we can celebrate Pride together. That we can all be proud of who we are. And so much has happened, it's hard to put it into words right now. I'm super excited to be back in Switzerland, to be back home a bit. *M: We are also happy to have you back, our Nemo! Yeah. So I have another question. I mean, you've had quite the evolution. If you remember 10-year-old you, what would you tell that person, from the perspective you have now?* N: Oh, that's a really good question. I think I would tell 10-year-old me that it's okay if certain things need time, but that you also have to take that time -- and that you have to give yourself that time to allow you to find yourself. And that the most crucial thing in life is who you surround yourself with. When you have people around you who see you as you are, life is much more beautiful, and I'm glad to have found that. *M: It was a long journey. How would you say you realized that you identify as non-binary, and what helped you to come out?* N: I think that for me -- I think that for a long time, I had thoughts inside me that I didn't understand, that I couldn't find the right words for what I felt. I think that what really helped me a lot is that even though I didn't have all the answers about myself or how I felt, that I opened up to the people I'm close to, in my relationship at the time, and was able to have those conversations with my family and was able to talk about it early. That through talking to the right people, I was able to understand who I am. *M: So lovely! Thank you! So emotional. I think I'm not exaggerating when I say that we all cried on May 11 when they announced "Switzerland, 200 points"!! Thank you so much for being here. One more question (to public): Do you all know where Nemo will be next week? At the Federal Palace!* _[Discussion of political plans]_ *M: Thanks for your work. You've gotten a milestone rolling. And I know, in Switzerland everything takes a while. (To public) But do you all know what? They [older politicians] will be dead soon. It's nature! Thanks again for everything. Give it up again for Nemoooo!* N: Thanks so much!
