Girl!!! I loved your video. Finally someone who I can relate to. I've watched so many videos of moving abroad but it just doesn't click. I maybe moving soon, (fingers crossed) and this helped a lot. Definitely subscribed to the lame jokes lol. Hope you are doing well. Cheers!
Hey guys! Here is my latest vlog where I talk about my accomodation and how I have tired to make it my home with the help of some dollar tree and Ikea finds. Do check it out and let me know if you like it - ua-cam.com/video/h0ezdoCSCOM/v-deo.html
Omg I just relived my own experience of coming to another country a year ago. That breakdown at the airport, I feel you gurll ❤️😭 I'm so glad you processed all the emotions you felt at the airport by sobbing, because take it from someone who didn't, it hits you wayy harder after you spend the first night alone away from home :'(
It's tough to digest, can understand and feel what way gone through, but one thing beta this makes you perfect, strong, and independent, we know you are strong enough and sure you will not forget your emotions, caring and loving nature too.. so be happy and enjoy every moment of life and go ahead. May God Bless you
Oooof! First half of the video made me understand the roller coaster of emotions each one of my friends who have travelled abroad have gone through; and the second half just felt like a video call we'd have where you'd stress rant about something XD. Waiting for more videos Amruta, always up to know more about your experiences!
When I watched this vlog it instantly bring me back to my memories of leaving india to Canada on Nov 22. The thing that I most related was that I was trynna be cool at the airport and before leaving home ki what is this rona dhona...sab students kya bematlab ka rote hai at first gate of airport. And I didn't cried there but after reaching the loyalty lounge at Mumbai airport idk what happened I had the worst breakdown ever like I was literally crying hard and I was alone. So yeah I felt totally connected.
Broooohhh uh talk Marathi with your dad "papa ethe bg" Was best part !! I'm a Marathi girl i too wanna come canada for higher studies goosebumps when i hear your voice 🥺❤

Loved the way you expressed, i mean gathering your thoughts and trying to convey . I’m watching travel vids and preparing myself. So mostly they are al happy and etc etc. your vid was some different level . I could literally connect to the whole leaving mumbai part. Because this is what i am discussing with people but its just you cannot explain leaving fam , leaving mumbai part. The emotional part gave me goosebumps… but reality is its a part of life.. all the best to you 🎉
Yes I completely agree! Just have faith and take the leap! All our efforts will pay off with the right mindset. I truly believe in this! Thank you so much for taking out time to write such a sweet comment. I hope you have a great journey ❤️❤️ All the best 💕
Heyy - I hope you had a safe flight. It was mainly because the flight was at full capacity and they didn't have enough space on the flight ti store the cabins
I felt the same. I was going to Miami from Mumbai via Qatar and I broke down at the airport even before getting inside the airport and then I cried the whole time until I got on my flight. Then for sometime I was fine and was speaking to another international student but before we landed it hit me again that I had left my whole family behind and I would be seeing them for god knows how long and I started crying right there and the guy I was speaking to must have thought I was such a weirdo and then I called my dad from the flight when we landed and kept saying I wanted to come back home and I’ll just take a ticket back home. It was so horrible that moment. My mom and dad eventually convinced me to go and after getting on the next flight to Miami I was a little better but mostly exhausted and suffering a headache from the crying. But yaa, I can see your emotions through the screen. It was a lot easier the next time though, not a single tear was shed mostly because I knew I would be coming back from summer break.
Hey! Yes don't worry about it. You just need to ask them for it or else walk up to the pantry area and they'll help you with it🫶🏻 Hope you have a safe flight and an amazing journey ❤️
Amazing vlog Amruta🙌🏻..........it was a proper vlog like a daily vlogger...........angles,frame, confidence everything was nice and perfect............sorry that I came very late to see your vlog😅😬............but best wishes to you ✨
Hi, I also came to canada in December 22 and your vlog is totally relatable with the emotion I had while leaving India but couldn’t express. Thank you for sharing.
Toronto Pearson Airport wasn't rated the worst last summer for no reason, they just take take forever to get your luggage, when you said you got you money back, i thought you got your flights worth, but that was just for the extra luggage lol
Hi, can you please tell if one has to do immigration at the first point of entry in Canada or at the final destination, which is also in Canada. Because I have to catch next flight in 3.5 hours after I land in Montreal. This will be of great help.
Generally, you have to do your immigration (issue of study permit) at the first port of entry. Please confirm this with you college and immigration advisor team at the college. They will be able to help you with all the details.
Hey Amruta! Such a fabulous video! I’m rooting for your journey! Keep it up! I’m on the same roller coaster ride and will be coming in Jan intake. Just curious can you tell me which series were u watching when u landed in London with the shitty meal when u ate noodles? Looks kinda interesting haha
Thank you so much 🫶🏻❤️ I was watching Mean Girls - there are limited options on their displays and you can browse through the options on the airlines website. But the "mean girls" was definitely the perfect ones for the journey. All the besttt! Hope you have a safe journey
The way you filmed your journey from Mumbai to Toronto made me feel like I’m part of the process witnessing everything live. Great video and also wish you all the best for your beautiful ahead. Wish to see more vlogs in Canada with your lame jokes as well 😜

Hello! I will be travelling with Air Canada too on June 23rd. Can you please tell me why they insisted you to put your cabin bag as checkin luggage?

At the airport were you asked for 12th results during departure and arrival?
No 12th results would probably be the last thing they would ask.
Hey Amruta... So you only had to pay 100$ once for the extra baggage and not twice as you boarded 2 flights?
Hey! Yes so the extra charges are for the entire journey if you have only one boarding pass across all connecting flights.
Have a safe flight! ❤
@@amrutavaze ok so how to determine whether I'll get 1 boarding pass or 2 different ones?? as I also have my flight with 1 stop in between.
You go gurllllll!! 😙😙😙
