I PASSED!!!!! both on my 1st try!!!!! thank you BREATHE EASY!!!! your tips helped me and first thing I did was number my sims to not get mixed up. I also used the AARC code to get $40 off so thank you!!!!!!!! RRT baby!!!!! I surpassed the minimum requirement too. I thank God first and foremost but the hard work paid off. I used LJ mostly too but listening to your videos really helped me.
@@BreatheEasyRRT Yes it finally did. So tell us!! make a video if you're pursing another credential such as NPS, PFT, or SDS???? I want to pursue NPS but don't know where to start to study . Anyway, God bless you. Youre such an amazing brave RRT!
Hi Dominique! It’s Lily from IU 😂 I was looking up this content cause I gave up on getting my license. And recently decided it was stupid to give it up, and studied and passed the tmc, now planning to take my CSE next week 🥴. And ran into your post 😂 hope all is well!
I just had to tell you, I passed the tmc 115. I used kettering and that mechanical ventilation book you recommended. Thanks for your motivational video and tips. Now I have to take clim sims.
Since ill be starting my two-year program in respiratory care in NYC next fall, this video is actually legit and useful. Thanks for making these helpful vids.
wow 😍 Congrats Aimee!!! The last time i saw your video you were just studying Mech Vent and now you are already a Registered Respiratory Therapist. WOW 😍😍😍 so inspiring. Make some more videos for the next journey you have. Once Again CONGRATS and Good Luck. 😊 God bless you 😇
Phew passed my TMC today! Felt like i got the harder version. Onto CSE now!! Edit: the high cut score has been lowered to 92 to be able to take the CSE
@@BreatheEasyRRT Thank you!! It was nerve racking!! And the way the questions were written is different from the Form A & B that I took to gauge myself to see if I was ready for it. Its much more analytical and requires you to think critically. There were only a handful of questions that were straight forward. A tip to those taking the TMC, is pay very close attention to KEYWORDS they use!! Also don’t change your answers, don’t second guess yourself! I made this mistake plenty of times while in school. Its true what they say, your first choice is usually the right answer! I was tempted to change a few of my answers bc i didnt feel right, but to my surprise i passed with a high cut score and i was relieved lol.

Does anybody know if the Lindsey Jones 2013 fourth edition is still a good reference? I saw them came out with 2015 and 2019, I’m afraid I am getting some outdated information from the one I am studying RN. Thanks.
Congratulations!!! I waited about 4 days because that was the only appointment available lol. So I 3nded up taking my CSE pretty quickly. If you feel like you need more time, take it but don't wait too long.
Breathe Easy thank you so much for the input! I’ve tried out a few practice sims and it’s been great practice. There isn’t much practice CSE exams out there compared to TMC. I’m glad I tried this out and I’m hoping it’ll help me pass :)
I'm so sorry to hear that! Keep at it, you are so close! At least now you have a better idea of what to expect and can use that information to help yourself prepare for that.

Hopefully you found some helpful tips in this video! I didn't use Lindsey Jones much but I've heard good things about it. Everything I used is mentioned/linked in the description of this video. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to just breathe! Good luck!
I know you need to pass the tmc first to get approval for the cse..But don’t you need to pass both decision making and information gathering to pass cse ? Or they just count the percentage?
RT is short for Respiratory Therapist and is a general term used widely throughout the hospital. RRT signifies that someone is a registered respiratory therapist and has passed both board exams to earn their credentials at the highest level.
