It’s very funny that some people, I sincerely doubt Seth thinks it, actually think Punker is a cancer to the business. This dude brings out the absolute best in everyone he works with. Drew is now the hottest heel in the company, due to Punk and his own hard work. I’ve been ambivalent towards Seth for 95% of his career in WWE, but I am all in on this. Even MJF hasn’t found a foil like Punk in AEW since he left, love Cole but they just can’t seem to get to the same blood feud level as Max and Punk did. I’m not trying to get all tribal up in here but I hope the next time a massive, once in a generation, star makes their way to AEW the EVPs and their friends don’t let their egos ruin a good thing.
CM Punk so clearly had the upper hand both in arguments, aswell in audience chanting for him. With the status of WWE in the last years of Vince Regime, a lot more guys should have had the balls to leave... guys who had the financial backup and leverage role to enforce the necessary changes even long before. No CM Punk didn't left "us". He left Vincent Kennedy McMahons Company, from where he, actually got fired on his Wedding Day... and a lot of people who chanted for seven years his name understood that clearly. And with the still troubled locker Room in AEW, without an reasonable argument to blame Punk anymore for it, or just the Overall status at the other Company, with a lot of cheap tricks to block a lot people, who actually want to leave, or not given chances to work of contract extra time even while being hurt in creative, or helping at commentary, etc. AEW became themselves much more similar with a lot of stuff they formerly criticized about WWE. Revolutions aren't fought in staying with a corporation while serving submissively the sex offending owning Autocrat, who clearly gave in the last years bad decision orders. Trench-Warfare doesn't attack, by any logic any enemies base grounds, so good luck Seth for finding any progression in this analogy... Without the shit CM Punk initially stirred up a lot of the changes that are now in play at WWE, might never had came. And CM Punk was unlike Seth never a chosen one, a fortunated face of the company, under Vincent Kenedy McMahons regime. At the end Seth had nothing left as to refer to his "own" "cancer" arguments he already said in interviews about Punk before he even came back to WWE... and he taken very obvious inspiration with this by talking heads from the so be-wared "competition" ...and by the way Becky didn't only left for raising the child but for her new role in the new Star Trek TV series... so the Man clearly found other balls to play as the ones Seth likes talking about. So whats left? Blaming Punk and along in ugly manner AJ for not having a child publically for one of the most private and intimate decisions of a family? And by the way Aj Mendez already said in the past on multiple plattforms and interviews by herself publically, how she struggles with severe mental health problems with a bipolar disorder... and I do like about Punk that he doesn't ever use it as a defence for himself and always shielded her from his own controversies but people with more than 2 braincells, could take a emphatic guess why maybe people decide against a child with struggles like this, without take Seths very cheap shot to weaponize a family planing decision against having to raise a child... like what conservatives always demand of women in general... but something like that is maybe to high for a self proclaimed revolutionary and visionary.
Can someone please explain Seth’s comment about raising a kid? Is it because Aj Lee and Punk don’t have a kid or something? I’m just trying to find out the significance of that comment!
I'm short Punk said he wanted a kid before and AJ said because of her mental health issues she doesn't ever see herself wanting one so it became a bit of a running thing with people how long they'd last but was a while ago now
@@TheGeekBox Oh okay! Now it makes sense! I caught the Colt Cabana reference and the AEW jab. That was the only one that left me confused! But I could tell it was something like that due to the crowd reaction after he said it. Thank you for clearing that up man!
They both cooked until Seth did his last segment after Punk said he's going to shove his fistful of arrows down Seth Rollins corporate thoat. Seth's reply was where he lost this promo.
My only concern about this is they may used all the ammo in this promo, and they’d have nothing really else to talk about when the feud continues. But still, what a way to end Raw on USA Network, and 2024.
I'm confused on why everybody reacts to the "my wife to raise a kid, ik you don't know what that's like" am I missing something? Did AJ have a miscarriage, does she not want a kid, or does Punk have a kid with someone else from the past that he wasn't there for? I'm genuinely confused on how that was a good diss, I dont follow WWE superstars personal lives hardly at all, a couple here and there but not these guys
I thought Seth would come back with a bar about AJ taking her ball and going home, but the shot about not having a kid was even better. Did Punk throw Bronson off the cage? I missed that.
Can see what you mean. Punks felt a lot more hitting the points he wanted to make where as Seth sounded a lot more off the cuff in style. They work as a perfect team lol
React not talk and act like kids these promos or shoot promos have been done since the eighties this new generation is so clueless on a shoot promos they get excited if he was to say my new outfit cost more than your career but it’s what it is these days have fun young ones
I dunno if he could run circles, but MJF has an awesome promo when he's set right for it. Think he stands out a lot though in AeW because they only have a few big hitters on the mic compared
Unpopular opinion: Punks parts weren't that interesting. Indirectly mentioning Vince doesn't automatically make for a good promo and trying to "little bro" someone who has a more impressive WWE resume is just asinine. Every line he dropped was easily countered. Oh, and gravity broke Reed's ankle, not Punk.
And Seth's parts were?? Mentioning that Punk doesn't have a kid was so interesting right?? If mentioning Vince doesn't automatically make for a good promo, then mentioning colt cabana and AEW also doesn't automatically make for a good promo. He's not just "little bro" by age, he's also "little bro" due to experience, mic work and being an overall better wrestler. Then why didn't he counter Punk's last attack??

Can see what you mean. Punks felt a lot more hitting the points he wanted to make where as Seth sounded a lot more off the cuff in style. They work as a perfect team lol
The two bearded guys sound of the promo is garbage
I mean Seth wasn’t wrong though! He bested Punk at his own game here!
React not talk and act like kids these promos or shoot promos have been done since the eighties this new generation is so clueless on a shoot promos they get excited if he was to say my new outfit cost more than your career but it’s what it is these days have fun young ones
Seth rollins won the promo
I think this started off scripted and then it turned real in a snap of a finger
Imagine thinking punk won the promo battle 😂
Beat that Seth... CM PUNK! Let's go CM Punk! Wooo! It'll be over soon.
Most of these clowns are yapping over the haymakers. Thumbs down
Some hardcore AEW fans say MJF can run circles around the entirety of the WWE roster with a mic. What we all think about that?
Thats bs
Take away 4th wall stuff and tweets off of his arsenal, he loses 80% of his material
I dunno if he could run circles, but MJF has an awesome promo when he's set right for it. Think he stands out a lot though in AeW because they only have a few big hitters on the mic compared
The Miz will make MJF cry
@@TheGeekBoxyes,I think Carmelo Hayes is enough to destroy MJF.
These streamers talk too much....
It’s a promo streamers not a life changing event relax stone cold Paul Heyman did this before Rollins and punk
Reaction streamers? What has happened to my beloved sport?
