- The debate has been raging as to whether DDA/scripting exists in FIFA/EA FC 24 for years .. given some recent evidence on Twitter/X, this debate has resurfaced.
Until FIFA 23 I didn't believe it did .. but my mind is being changed more and more by the day.

100% agree. Call it DDA, Scripting or whatever, something is going on within the code, that messes with gameplay experience. It was bad last year, and it got worse this year. Only reason why it got worse this year, as far I can tell, is that they added PlayStyles.
1000% agree. Like your players are running as if they have zero stamina. Cant accelerate can’t do anything. Plus the right stick switching is absolutely terrible. Like it goes to random players and l1 switching works when the games decides it.
Right stick switching was good last year right? I would say. This year is noticed the change in right stick switching. Made it literally fucking useless to right stick switch to the point you keep spamming the right stick switch until it goes to the player you desire. By the time that happens. Trivela with a dickhead CM with 81 shot🤦🏽♂️

Been a Fifa player since FIFA 97. This is by far the most scripted FIFA game I've ever played. Not to mention it's becoming a "pay to win" experience. It's a disgrace. Can't wait until a new game comes out to compete with EA.

150% scripting is real. I can tell in the first 10 mins of the game if scripting is against me or in my favor. My players are either on crack or show up to the game hungover no reason for them to feel so much different. I think it would help more if people admitted when it actually helps them instead of just complain when it’s against them. I feel so dirty when i realize my goals are bullshit and shouldn’t had won a game by so much, I feel sorry for the people I play against sometimes. I don’t even think it compensates for bad players, I think it’s a random coin toss that benefits everyone randomly.

@@PACSAMPLAYS idk mate, there’s some clips out there that even those that deny it can’t explain and just laugh it off lmao. Like i said if people admitted when it’s in their favor, we as a community could force fifa to get rid of it or atleast admit it’s existence. I believe the only reason they deny it is because by definition people think it only benefits bad players. I think it’s random n that makes them think it’s fair for everyone.

5:09 just look at the movements and shoot power of Zola, even when he used finesse shoot... I have Zola myself, that is so fake...
5:57 in Gotze goal, the player has basic chemstyle and even with the ball the player outpaces LeBlanc shadow... then shoots to the keeper's body and the ball rebounds to Gotze again with the empty net...

The thing is people just say its DDA when they are playing completly trash. I read the other day where a guy said "DDA stands for "Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment" The phrase is quite complex, but it simply means a mechanic within a games code that can adjust certain gameplay to make it more difficult or easier, for players to carry out certain actions.
In short, a player dominating a match could see DDA make their gameplay less fluid and more to error in order to balance the match they are playing. A player struggling in a game may find their gameplay made more fluid to have the opposite effect. But also i've been owned 6-0 by a guy that just finness shoots with Son and puts like 9/10 at net ( Which is not football )
The guy who wrote it was "Nabilelhank4050" And i totally agree. But i dont understand why they dont just make the Defenders AI 5% worse or sum. atleast make the ones with no defending trash since enemy strikers runs on top of me like hes Prime Maldini although he is controlling someone like Gold Neymar

Been playing since fifa 12 UT. Quit this fifa after 1 week lol, and couldnt be happier. Much rather watch people rage on youtube, then actually rage myself, genuinely terrible game

Ofcourse they use this, easy way to find it out is play careermode and then play against inter or ac Milan does not matter what team you use 9 of 10 times you lose with big numbers. Firtst i thought i was not good enough for the world class level but other matches win with 4 to zero but only ac en inter Milan just run over you like hell, no stopping

I know for sure, I am not the best player in this game. Offline playing against Friends or the AI on the hardest level is nothing compared to UT. I mean like I got chemestry 32/33 overall 94 teamrating. I think I have a pretty solid team. But I keep losing. Not because of bad defending. I mean, I have Abedi Pele on my right wing and he keeps hitting the woodwork. My keeper with overall 96 rating, keeps loosing the ball. And I'm only div 8...
As I said, i am not the best out there, but I am not bad. But this ain't skill. Its scripting. I usually score in the first 15 minutes of the game. After that, I don't even get near the goal or bring danger...This game gives me anger issues just because i don't want to waste money on it...
It baffles me why this even is a question? How can you not notice DDA exist? It´s beyond me.

Just played a game there I’ve noticed with 5-10 mins to go if a team has scored to make it 8-6 for talking sake and you can guarantee you have a free pass to score for any angle to bring back to a goal behind it’s wild EA are wankers and something 100% needs to be done about it.
100% I have played football games for decades since the mid 90's... Fifa then PES, then 2010 I switched back FIFA.. 1000% DDA exists. You can feel the players and gameplay change.. Now some will say 'get better' to just trying to blame an inability on DDA. Let me tell you I play D1/D2 in H2H season consistently. FUT high divs also. The game will often make sure your opponent get chances out of nothing. .
My take is -
Moving players out of position randomly
Players refusing to jump
Players not releasing the ball when input to.
The endless chances created by poor AI in the 45/90min area leading to goals
Superman keepers but your keeper couldn't catch a cold.
Hitting the post 18 times in a match but your opponent scores with first chance
Running with lead boots but your opponent is pinging everything around and turn on a sixpence
Diabolical rebounds from tackles that go straight back to them
Pretty much any rebound or header that always land at opponent.
Ultra high stat players that make dribble passes 3 feet whilst their non rare gold team is flawless
Other theory is...
They nerf your players in hope you get annoyed and go buy packs in FUT
Xbox accounts are picked at random to have DDA applied.
Internet could have some input but in the modern world where everyone is on fibre it's impact seems unlikely.
EA are a bunch of no good cooperate liars. No respect for their player base. No respect for gaming. They only care about money and whilst people continue to pour money to FUT then nothing will ever change. Hell even EA forums banned people for talking about scripting/DDA.

If DDA wasn't a thing, it wouldn't be in career mode. But it is. There would be no reason for them to script offline play, there is nothing in it for them. But the fact that career mode is so heavily scripted must, to me, mean it exists in all modes of play. I think the reason it's in career mode is because the devs are to lazy to code different gameplay for offline and online. DDA 100% exists, without question. Why else would Mansfield Town be harder to play against than Arsenal? But they were just today when I played. Same reason a noob can and often will beat a top rated player in online play. DDA.
So whats the next association football game. I'm done with FIFA bro. Ill be having a great day and then turn on the game and suddenly I have the most aggravating headache ever and am in rage mode. Some stress is good but should be measured on your actual output and reward. Messing it up like this only rewards buying packs and spending money on higher stats. I didn't realize we had it so good all those years ago. You take your money, you buy a game, you grow and get better and have authentic highs and lows. Nope heres some code to frustrate you into spending more money.
UFL is coming. GOALS is coming. 2K FIFA too .. so plenty of alternatives are coming.

I didn't play for a week or so came back got a nice little team together had a nice little win streak going on n then goes to shit! It's like there trying to make you mad to buy packs to get so called better players!! What a joke 😅
What ive just encountered in chamos has led me to step away from this game. 5-2 up at half time and his players all feel like R9 and gullit all of a sudden. Game finishes 8 - 7 to him in the 93rd when it was +1 extra time. That was the worst game of fifa i have ever played in my life they ought to be ashamed with this rubbish

My games go like this:
If i go 1-0 quick, the first half ends 1-1 goal at 45min
if i go 2-0 in the first half I know for a fact i loose game 2-3
If its champs game and im wining first half its one of those games that go 4-4, 5-5 and so on.
This game is dog shit, if I had 1 drop of self respect I would stop playing this shit.

DDA/scripting in this game is just absolutely BS! I win games I should lose, I lose a game vs some scrub the next one pure because the ridiculous rigging is obvious. 100000 x you make a perfect tackle but the ball bounces straight to your opponent for a free goal, the retardish AI and especially the GK is abysmal and cost you goals. It doesnt matter how good or bad i play, i always end up with 10-12 wins in champions every week, which tells me how lame and scripted it is anyway.
Add Corner/kickoff glitch abusers and sad mofos who rage quit when you tie so you dont get the win. This game is pure toxic and trash. Never did i see such a pathetic attemp from EA to hide the obvious rigging during games too. Its the first fifa i bought in 5 years and I regret wasting my money on this POS garbage. I never buy another fifa game thats for sure. The fact that i find fifa 18 1000 x better while that game also had enough issues says all

They are absolute rats we can’t compare to them because they play like 3-8 hours a day so they know how this script works and they play safe on strong scripted times
I’m sorry but stop bringing up that stupid argument, it doesn’t matter how they go 20-0 I have a friend an R2 merchant who really doesn’t use any skills but spam stepovers and crosses which I could beat any time in fifa, guess what he goes rank 5 in Champs with no hustle once even rank 4 while I struggle to make my players move just to finish in Rank 7 😂
