- I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the exclusive opening day of “More than a Woman: The Aaliyah Experience” I didn’t think I would be able to get in, but the angels arranged a way. I wanted to make sure I documented what it was like inside so that fans all over the world could see it as well. I took the time to edit this together with love for our babygirl, so feel free to share and repost.
Special thank you to Blackgroundrecords2.0 and Pandora for carefully putting together such a beautiful detailed pop up tribute for Aaliyah.
The efforts do not go unnoticed by the fans, and I’m thankful we are finally getting her music restored to us. Sending so much love and prayer to the Haughton family, Timbaland, Missy Misdemeanor Elliott, and all the other friends and associates that worked closely with Aaliyah and her legacy. She is in the heavens, but her spirit and memory will forever be with us. We love and miss you Aaliyah.

Can’t watch it all. Don’t think I’d manage - I would just feel like that kid all over again. The first and only celebrity death that made me cry and had sleepless nights. I’ve cried more for Aaliyah than I did for my Father’s death in 2018. Still remember my mom surprising me with the self-titled album when it came out.

I'm so conflicted by all of this. Aaliyah is my heart, but when I see her uncle on Dr. Oz recently saying that Aaliyah's mother knew more about her relationship with R.Kelly than we thought she did... would Aaliyah approve of all of the merch and promo etc we're getting now if she were here? Never.
I understand where your coming from.. as a huge fan myself I’m trying to just keep the focus on celebrating her legacy.. it’s very bittersweet and hard… I can’t even how hard it is on the family, but I do like seeing and hearing her again. For 20years I felt robbed of her. I’m glad I can see her videos again… just trying to keep the focus on her legacy… keeping her memory alive. 🙏🏽
