This was a pretty good explainer for someone like me who's never really explored this before. I don't wanna identify myself too quickly, but from what it sounds like, I definitely feel like I'd fall into the Type 4 Wing 3, with a direction of stress arrow towards 1.
Looking forward to watching more of these and learning more about the Enneagram.

I have always been a follower of the MBTI types (as an INFJ) but have never once touched upon the enneagrams! From your descriptions, I definitely see types 1, 4 and 9 within myself! Looking forward to this series! 💕

I've been studying MBTI and the cognitive functions for the past few years, engaging with the MBTI YT community and stuff, and now I've opened the next chapter to study about Enneagram. It's still much a mystery to me as of now, and I'm an INTJ who still doesn't get what really is my Enneagram type. Am I 1? 5? 8? I sometimes feel like I'm an INTJ who's Enneagram type might not be part of the classic stereotypes INTJs are known for their Enneagrams a lot, cause I can still relate with the other numbers too. This video helped me get to know Enneagram some more tho, and I love MLP! Love you made a video that mixed these interests of mine together.
Ayy no way! I had a phase where I loved learning about the MBTI, cognitive functions, and Jungian Psychology. I myself am an INTP on the MBTI.

Hey! I just wanted to say, As an INFP 5w4 with ASD, I've always related the most to Twilight when I started watching MLP, and I kinda feel like I'm her before the first episode where she learned about the magic of friendship and got a close friend group, I only got into MBTI and the Enneagram a few months ago, but I'm pretty sure I am that I'm an INFP 5w4, I mean, I definitionally am really stressed by conflict and confrontation to the point where I can only hide from it until a few days when I'm better, but I feel like that I'm more defined by how I'm always trying to get knowledge about things which is why I really could relate to Twi, after learning about the Enneagram, for a bit, I thought she was a five, but everyone says she's a two, so I'm really looking forward to your video on her to see what you have to say about her.
I've always seen Twi as a type 5 on the Enneagram. I relate with her too, though I feel that my more core fear lines up with fear of conflict, and core desire is to live in peace and tranquility, which is why I'm a type 9.
@@TheEternalSamurai I feel like we're the reverse in that sense, I definitely do feel as (UN)assertive, shy, and really do hate Conflict as much as Fluttershy in season 1, but the thing that I enjoy the most is learning stuff, but I feel like the key difference is that I'm able to forgot the rest of it when I'm presenting or teaching someone something, and gaining knowledge for me is just... calming for me if that makes sense, btw, I find it funny that you made this video on the Enneagram when I made a presentation talking about MBTI with ponies based on what I've learned and what other people have thought. Could give a link if you want to see it?

Well after some serious amounts of thinking , I found my type.
I'm type 2 like Rainbow Dash , growing with conflict which neutralizes the stress line.
But has more problems with 1 and 3 , the alternative reasons to help.
This explains a scary amount of things.
