I FINALLY got a refund date of October 11 (paper check being sent) after waiting almost 7 months. I got in contact with a tax advocate a little over a month ago and they got in contact with me last week letting me know they faxed something to the irs and my WRM just updated last night. My advice would be get in contact with the tax advocates! thank you so much for your videos they really helped!

All my tax issues are the same I had a letter telling me my taxes are on hold with no reason or error was a 152 error but I confirmed my IDENTY months ago now I just been waiting it's crazy
I had same issue for months then I got the senators office involved and they said my refund recently got approved but I still see no change I even had to give check stubs and letter head
Filed in March and verified in May. Was told that it would take 120 days. I haven't received any additional letter and my 120 day was Sept 26th. My daughter however was a victim of identity theft. She is 19 and someone filed her taxes before she could. She had to file paper due to this and verify in person. She was told she had to wait ten weeks. The deadline was at the end of July and still nothing.
Thank you 🙏 for a new video and the dates of the refunds because my transcript haven’t changed no updates not even on were is my refund no letters o notice not even on the transcript has any updates if I am going to receive a letter nothing for 3 months the Advacate office hasn’t contacted me yet I called my congressman a few weeks ago and not even them has been in contact with me the lady told me she was going to be in touched with me and if I need anything to call her I did and she haven’t replied back I just don’t know what to do any more 😢😢 i even thought about calling a lawyer to see was it going on 😢

Started out needing to verify my identity. Once done, they said to give them 120 days. At 120 days, I had to submitt income verification. Then I was told to give them 60 days. It's been 30 days and I haven't seen any updates so far, but I'm expecting yet another notice.
My refund was reduced due to the fact that I was NEVER told that once you get audited, you must submit tax form 8862 along with your tax return. That form was submitted over 3 months ago, I also asked and got congressional help, but now here's another issue i have, I have 2 TAX ADVOCATE AGENTS, one that was assigned to me by the Congressional help I'm getting the other one I don't know how this agent was assigned to my case. From what I was told from the Congressional help I'm getting this is causing a delay too many people helping me.
Wow it really seems never ending for you with this situation! That is a new one. . delays because too many people helping you! Absolutely ridiculous you are going through this.
I'm trying to figure out how to get ahold of the tax advocate services so I can get ahold of somebody so they can advocate on my behalf because it's just don't make no sense it's my first time ever going through something like this with the IRS and here we coming up on 3 months where the new season for 2025 is to start and I still have yet to get 2023 taxes
I verified my identity 3/19/24 and received 2 notices stating that they needed an additional 60 days. Today marks the 60 days for the second time. Nothing has changed on my transcripts since 4/29/24 and it still says refund received. I cant get in contact with anyone
I'm still waiting for my 2023 taxes they're saying that the income needs to be verified by how does the income need to be verified when it's in their databases all the jobs that I work my 1099 form and my W-2 forms now they're asking for me to upload pay stubs I don't even have those pay stubs in the jobs that I have reached out to have giving me pay stubs and the ones that I reached out to me because I was a contractor they don't give out paystubs
I finally have been accepted after waiting since 02/19 scheduled for October 18th !

Still have not received 2023, I have an advocate now. Already got my identity verified. Simple return and they tell me I need to do nothing.
