My brother was diagnosed in 4/1989. He is still alive and doing well. I have to thank God and the scientists for him still being alive as many of his friends, whom I loved dearly, are gone.

I thought i had HIV due to having all the symptoms when i was living in the Philippines...I get it .....i was not mad at the person who i thought gave it to me because no one put a gun to my head and made me have unsafe sex...turned out i got some type of virus in the tropics that had same symptoms, i even had a 250 t cell count.....i am done with dangerous sex, but it was hard to stop my addiction...

A loved one recently diagnosed with AIDS. Apparently he had HIV for like 5yrs. He has had bouts with pneumonia for the last 2 yrs at least. Leaving the hospital tmrw to go home with his family. Very low TCELL count and has no insurance..his parents are taking care of him....my question is what are his odds??? Anyone know?? He's 30. Thank you.

Not possible. There would have to be blood going inside an open cut in your mouth, but even then that is low risk. It would have to be a deep cut.

If raw materials are not supply cos there are more gays getting it - somehow or supply chain are being effected then this will blow up and these people will perish. Dun always think there is an endless supply of medications. Dun take life for granted. Choices have consequences and decisions sets your destiny.
