For the Brownies
3/4 cup cashew or any nuts you like
2 1/2 cups of plain flour
1 tbsp corn flour or corn starch
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup white choc chip
1/3 cup + 1 tbsp ube halaya
2 tsp ube flavouring

Hi.The reason why we call those dark brown cookie bars brownies is because of their color.
I suggest a more appropriate name for your goodies should be purple yam cookie bars.
