Been working successfully with that principle for the last 30 years- good to find it here - will be quite useful (Needs a bit more to get working with it!) Claudia Scholz gave me the hint, thank you!
Thanks for the comment Dr. Thiele (and Dr. Scholz for the hint). Let me know if you're interested in seeing the full set of BiteFX animations - those who use them for educating their patients or teaching other dentists give us enthusiastic feedback. We can easily set up an online meeting.
My understanding is that single tooth guidance is fine when the teeth are healthy and strong. You move to group function models if any of the single teeth are unstable or missing.
@@BiteFX Ok. Just asked since I had watched this video - ua-cam.com/video/hZBlsvD3geo/v-deo.html She says in that video in 1:20 that the food can be ground much better since the lateral movement (along with vertical movement) helps with chewing the food
@@reardelt Sounds reasonable with support from various papers. However, I understand that people chew in different ways, with some preferring one style of chewing, others preferring another. So it's not a good idea to give everyone group function as a number will still choose to chew in a different way. Also, I'd say I have good single-tooth, canine guidance and don't feel that preventing me from chewing rotationally. Think it deserves further study and discussion with other dentists before settling on any absolute rules.
Seung Yi - Thanks for your reply. Our business is that of providing (selling) BiteFX (the full collection of animations and photos) to dentists to explain concepts (like Canine Guidance) to patients. We give our customers permission to use our videos in their interactions with their patients and to use clips in other videos, with appropriate attributions to BiteFX. If you wish to use our animations with your patients, you need to sign-up as a BiteFX member. Information on that is at BiteFX.com. If you want to know more about BiteFX, we'd be happy to give you a personal online demo. Hundreds of dentists tell us that BiteFX has a major impact on their practices. We would be pleased to provide you with that same benefit.
@@ysyzzang - Correct. As long as it is providing benefit to you the monthly payments will seem trivial. As long as you are using BiteFX, it will be useful to you. If you stop using BiteFX, you tell us and stop paying and, of course, are not able to use BiteFX.

Thank you, the video has been very very helpful!
Who was the first to mention the concept of canine guidance? 1)Celenza 2)Damico 3)Shepered 4)Niswonger
Canine to Canine contact on working side. Disclussion of all posterior teeth on working side and all teeth on balancing side
Thaaaaaanks u really was helpful ❤
Isn't group function better for mastication since we can move our jaw laterally slightly during the bite?

how do you do that?
Can I use part of your video on my UA-cam?
Thanks for asking. Can you tell me the purpose of your video?

It is a system that makes monthly payments. Do not use the video at the end of the period?

If I record the video during the contract and upload it to UA-cam. Should I close if the contract ends?
Thanks
