Congratz!! A word of caution though. I heard this model year they they over used RTV on their oil pan and people have been finding them on the oil pick up. some had a blown engine since it clogged the oil feed to the engine. I hope yours don't have that issue.
I'm dropping the oil pan asap and resealing before we do any track miles! 🫡
And subaru or toyota still haven issued a recall for this???

Loved your previous BRZ. When you sold it and got the Type R, I got my Supra. Now I just got my Red GR86 and now you got your BRZ again. It definitely feels good to be in a twin again. I feel like we have the same car buying schedule LOL

congrats! keep an eye out for the rtv issue that is plaguing a lot of these cars. i’ve had 2 come into my toyota dealership with blown motors from the oil pickups being clogged.
That is scary. I hope mines is one of the lucky ones

@@spamsubie Oh I see. The BRZ you can order what you want and you just have to wait the 6 month or so but with the GR86, it can be easier to get if you don't care about about spec, trim, and color but if you do (like I did) going to be waiting awhile. Got mine finally after 9 months haha.
BRZ is ok but I prefer the front look of the GR86 better.

2022 WRX looks nicer in person but yeah, it’s not the best looking car. I will say, the engine is going to be a monster once the aftermarket parts start rolling in.
WRX isnt that bad looking, Has the Plastic Cladding to prevent rocks from chipping the paint around the wheel wells, has a turbo, AWD, Actual usable back seats, a much bigger and better infotainment and for only a couple grand more than the BRZ. I feel you get way more for your money with a WRX over A BRZ. I remember my first sporty car was a Sunfire GT Sport coupe and I paid 7k for it and it was a year old with 6000km's on it and man was that a fun car. I don't understand the almost 40k price tag on the BRZ, its not even a turbo, nobody can fit in the back.... Why not just spend a little more and get a Nissan Z or something? at least that has a V6 twin Turbo.
That being said Ive never driven a GR or BRZ but they def dont seem worth the money, and before you teeny boppers tell me i don't know what im talking about, Ive been around a long time and have owned more cars then you think. These are not 35-40k vehicles.
