BANANA FISH is so good but istg Ash had to sleep in the library waahhh! I love BL and stuff but yeah I hate when people water down a show and label it falsely. Sure it has parts of BL, but that isn't really it's center.
Banana fish is fr a masterpiece. I just recently finished watching it, and everyday since then I’ve been thinking about it. Man ITS SO COOL. It’s weird how people just slap the BL label as if like that’s ALL it is or all it has to offer…? ITS SO MUCH MOOOOORE than that and I love it :) just wanted to rant about banana fish 🫣 though haha will say, the way you can acronym it as BF? Like 💍seriously though love my boys 💛

The fact that Alien Stage is such a good youtube series, maybe even one of the best on this platform, and it only got popular because people see boys kissing and immediately scream, "BL?? GAY??" Like it's so weird. Yes, gay relationships are part of the story, but that isn't the only thing it's about. The fandom was so chill before all the toxic yaoi fans came lmao. And I'm sure this isn't even all the new fans, just a large majority came solely for the gayness.
