Zenless Zone Zero player here! So there's this character called Nekomata and she is tan. Sometimes ZZZ uses comic panel style for cutscenes. I don't know if it's the lighting but they whitewashed her (I'm not that far in the game tho so not sure about other tan characters). I lack melanin so I might be wrong.

what i dont get is people who defend mihoyo by saying "natlan is just inspired by mesoamerica and africa, its not a direct copy of these places so hoyo can do what they want with the characters skintones" to which i say - if mihoyo only wants light skinned characters in their game, then why did they pick these places and cultures as an inspiration for their new region in the first place?? Like im sorry but no one was holding a gun to their head saying MAKE ANIME AFRICA OR ELSE- 😭😭😭 if they only want to have characters with light skin in their games, then they should have chosen a country where the majority of the population has light skin, i.e. korea, poland, finland, etc. consequently, if they actively choose to be inspired by a culture where people have darker skin, they should be mindful and respectful of that fact too. It literally is that easy.

They should have started the game out with a variety of skin tones, that way it wouldn’t feel out of place to just add them. Because they have already made 80+ characters with a lighter skin tone, they may feel it out of place to suddenly add darker characters which is so sad. I don’t think we should hate on the artists that made the characters however, this is because they are being payed to make a character a certain way, and only have a little say in what they can add to the character. Another thing Id like to say is that just because they are using inspiration from a certain culture doesn’t mean that everything has to refer back to that culture. That’s like saying if u find a reference photo for a pose, you have to follow that pose exactly, and you have to follow that photo with the best of your ability, that’s just not how it works, I can see why you’re mad but not everything has to completely match, Thanks for reading my rant, no hate just my opinion as an artist

I might be late with this comment but, i have been a fan of Melanies music since 2020 and loved her music. Even though my music taste changed. But her prices and her lying about the vip experience for the trilogy tour, made me not like her music as much ngl... Its sad but i barely listen to her anymore for that reason. I don't usually cringe, but the physical pain i felt when my own mom was talking about the "eminem canceling" she saw on tiktok gave me massive second hand embarrassment. It smells like misinformation, and i find it supid because theyre all acting like a rebellious teen from a sitcom. I don't find rebellion cringe, just that it feels like theyre doing it to seem cool and badass rather than to fight back against actual real world issues. Not to drag that into the discussion, but if you want to be rebellious- what for? Idk kinda seems like they got hunger games/dystopian brainrot. Acting like 'teens' while unable to raise gen alpha without a damn screen? Frustrates me to no end, and watching this stuff happen in real life is just wild. Grow up and set a good example for once.

liked this video and i mostly agree with you on everything except one point: as an adult and a creator that occasionally posts on tiktok, yes tiktok is an app where my stuff can be recommended to kids, but i should also not have to be responsible for childrens' parents not watching what they find on tiktok. i am an artist, sometimes i draw sfw characters in suggestive poses. sometimes i have an adult sense of humor, because i am an adult. does that mean i can be inappropriate or weird to ppl on the app? hell no! but i do believe it shouldn't be my responsibility, if i warn that sometimes my content is not for those 17 and under, to babysit other ppl's kids just because the algo is predatory. if i wanna post joking thirst traps of the onceler i should be able to without having someone cry at me that their kid saw a twink in green dancing to saucy music yk? /j anyway ye good content, came across this on my fyp :) keep up the good work!

I feel like her content, especially the penance skit, would really unnerve and negatively affect her past and current relationships within her workspace. I study children's psychology, and I know that a lot of children and teens have been SA'd, and have/will become uncomfortable and even afraid of people they have seen perform a skit/scene on SA(some can associate these individuals with their trauma). So really, I don't blame her higher ups for firing her if she works in Education. The skit, from what I've seen from reposts, is a bit too detailed and I guess that's what put people off in the first place. I still agree that no one should've doxxed or spread all of her personal information on the internet. (Sorry for my bad English, it's not my first language😢)

im sorry, but shes absolutely disgusting. she has justified students reading erotic material in SCHOOL, has a self insert teacher character she puts in most of these stories as some sort of savior for the victims, her weak "apology" not even adressing the REAL controversy at hand and so much fucking more. she's not a victim here, and i hate that she tries to portray herself as one. no hate to you at all, you have a point but mama owl is not innocent in this situation, and while i do agree, some of these people to lay off, she deserves a lot of this. i whole-heartedly believe she deserved to be fired because if anybody thinks its okay to incourage kids reading erotic and sexual material at school, they should not be teaching and the main POV and the way she handed the situation is the main reason why she infact deserved to be fired. oh, and the fact that her channel was CLEARLY marketed to kids and she still posted stuff like that? not a good look. but other than that you are completely right.
