    Hello, I recently purchased the PL81T (Grace). In the user manual it says
    “To avoid any possibility of damaging the machine's components, NEVER,UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, ADD ANY DESCALING PRODUCTS TO THE WATER TANK.”
    So I was wondering if I should or should not descale? Is the manual wrong or is this video wrong? Thank you

    Hi, thank you for your video, very useful. My question is about the descaler. Because in my country there are not Puly products, my question is if I will be able to use an alternative such Urnex products for a Lelit Victoria PL91T. For the descaling there is the Urnex Dezcal and for group cleaning is the Urnex Cafiza. If I analyze the SDS of Puly vs. Dezcal, there are a little differences in compositions. I read Urnex is a recognized world brand, and they are specialists in coffee cleaning, starting in 1930, and now selling in 70 countries. I would like to get your valuable opinion about that brand, if it will safe like Puly and can be a valid alternative for my situation. Thanks.

      Hello, if your machine is under warranty, we recommend you to check this issue also with your reseller as he has the possibility to inspect the machine in order to determine the right moment for a descaling. Furthermore, if the procedure it's not executed in the correct way, this can cause the corrosion of some parts inside the machine.     Is descaling a necessary thing to do? We’ve always used the Lelit water softener 70L for our Victoria, and we back flush it with Cafiza weekly.

    Respectfully I will have to disagree with the stated times. A domestic coffee machine like the Anna that is used daily for 1 year translates to water sitting inside the boiler at 88°C-95°C for at least 180 hours.
    It seems very unrealistic that a thorough descaling would be complete in 120 (4x30) seconds, especially since the "technician" has no idea what level of lime deposits are found inside the machine.
    Diluted descaling products need up to 25 minutes to do their job inside a domestic coffee machine.
    My Delonghi Perfecta has an automated descaling process that takes 25 minutes.
    Even a backflush with cleaning tablets, done regularly takes more than 120 seconds.

    I applied the descaling procedure after 20 months of purchasing "Anna." Everything went well, but how can we test the scaling degree within the machine? Is there a test or something? So we can understand when the machine needs descaling. Also, I cannot find water softener filters in Türkiye despite there being two Lelit distributors here. If something occurs with the machine, who's to blame if distributors do not provide protective items?

    Hello, Specific for Victoria, what is the dosage? 400ml or 1lt with 1 puly descaler or 2? How often this procedure is required? Ok a year, but in to how many dosages/shots is equilevavent this to? It would be nice to release an extra manual per machine and describe there the process.

    Hi Lelit team, yesterday I descaled my Anita according to your instructions with 400ml of water and one bottle of the Puly descaler. I found though that after withdrawing water for the 2nd time, the tank was already almost empty, and there was barely enough left for the 2nd water withdrawal via the steam wand. It felt like there should be more water left for more cycles, or are 2 really enough?

    Hello Team! I got a PL41TEM machine. My question would be: where can I get hold of this little filter you're applying after removing the resin water softener? Official name / part number would be helpful.
    Alternatively, can I keep the old resin filter to be replaced for the descaling and change for the new one afterwards instead of applying this little filter?

    Hi Lelit team, thanks for the video. Thanks to your team, I bought few years ago my Lelit Anita 41temd and I think I will go soon with Mara. You helped me a lot at the beginning of my journey - could you please now elaborate if instead of Puly Espresso we could use Puly descaller powder? Puly's sellers claim that it's OK - but wanted to be sure on what do you think on that. I use my machine a lot and clean it frequently - Puly Espresso is just not as cost effective as Puly descaller powder (price is very different). Will appreciate on your opinion why we can/cant' use powder puly descaller (called Puly Cleaner).

    Hey can you explain to me please . if you write how to descaling rancilio silvia and you will find how Woman explain to descaling and she tells just let the water out about 1/4 and turn off the machine about 20 minutes . and again , and the same way and its going with cold water you know.. so, Can i do that way on lelit anna . or lelit just has specific execute as in video. because you did it with hot hater its not good maybe other machines, but what about lelit? maybe you understand. and sorry if i made mistake in words, my english is not enought to discusse about this stuff. thanks

      Hello, pelase note that the descaling of the hydraulic circuit of the machine PL41PLUST must be done every year to ensure longevity and constant performances. The state of the machine needs to be checked previously by your reseller/specialized technician and the descaling operation must be done following a certain procedure by a specialized technician to avoid ruining the internal components of the machine.     Hey, wouldnt it make sense to use distilled water for the 2 full tank part (after the 400 ml Puly part)? Because the idea is to descale, but isnt running 800 ml of „hard water“ without the filter counterproductive?

    Hello, I am proud owner of a PL41LEM. Currently using a Fred a grinder and everything used to work perfectly. For some days now it started to lose pressure and right now every coffee I make is without any crema, since pressure is always below 8.
    1-Any advice or help on warranty you can give is greatly appreciated.
    2-Is this descaling the same for my machine?

    Hi!
    I have question about problem with pressure in LELIT ANNA PL41EM.
    When doing coffe pressure is 8-9 bars. 1 month ago it was about 10 bars and coffe was much better.
    I descaled the coffee machine, i did backflush, changed the pump. No change. In 25 sec. i have about 50 ml of coffe.
    What could be the problem? Can you help.
    Authorised Lelit service is about 300 km from me, so i want to know could this be something serious or maybe not.

      yep,
      You have to check the pressure using a blind filter - if it is ok. (about 9 bars), then problem is with coffe (not for that kind of coffe machines - most propably) or something with grinder.
      my problem was with coffee

    For PL81T should be 1 liter of water and 1 pack of descaler, right? But then should i repeat group and steamer descaling 2 times, because there is 2 times more liquid in the tank then on your video?

      @@LELIT_Official I mean before that you use 400ml of water + descaler and then let it through group and steamer one time. And you said that for PL81t should take 1 liter of water + descaler. But if i pass that mix through group and steamer one time each, like on the video, i will still have half of tank full with water and descaler. Should i repeat process or just pour out unused liquid?

      @@aleksandrgudkov8357, now it is clear! Yes you have to finish the solution of water + descaler before refilling the tank with fresh water. Pay attention to the time of extraction from the group and the wand: it could be of 30 seconds for each extraction ;) Thank you, LELIT team

      Hi, buying a used coffee machine, especially online, is pretty risky. There is no specific procedure to follow. But of course, it's better if you have a bit of practice and know what to look for when you receive the unit. You should check the internal components, see if there are no leaks, if pump and fittings are ok etc. Since you don't know how the machine has been used, a descaling procedure + backflushing + grinder cleaninf + steam wand cleaning are all strongly recommended. LELIT Team

    Which is the loss of degrees Celsius from boiler to group head to set the offset right?

    I feel really bad as a customer, when machie doesn't come with elementary blind filter, that is required for clearing the machine.
    Especially, when you order expensive machine and you can't easily buy original part easily..
    $1 required part is missing on $600 coffee machine, it's crazy!

    This descaler is some kind of acid, isn't it?
    If I add twice as much recommended water for one anti-scale bottle to the tank of my PL81T, it will make the solution twice as weak.
    Is it gonna be effective enough?

      Hello, if you want to increase only the water quantity, the effect of the descaling product is less agressive. In this case the procedure will take more time to erogate the water from the group, please pay attention to the breaks in order to avoid any damage of the pump. Thank you, LELIT Team

      @@LELIT_Official This is the case for HX and DB machines. SBDU residential machines should be allowed to be descaled at home without the need to visit a technician.

      @@NiceGuyNotSo I have owned 3 SBDU machines, including the Lelit Anna PL41TEM, and have always done the descaling myself without taking the machine to a technician. I think Lelit is concerned that the average consumer might do something wrong and mess up the machine.
