I’m so glad that we’re getting a new Windblade, and if she gets retooled into Slipstream down the line, that’d be even better.
Yes!! I pray we get a new slipstream🤙
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodGeek99 Yes. As a seeker. Not a Windblade remold.
I want a new Slipstream, but I hope they can do a significant amount of retooling to make her at least a little more Seeker like.
Im happy for a new Windblade. Though Slipstream deserves her own mold for once.
I would definitely prefer if Slipstream gets her own mold, but considering that she’s been a Windblade retool in the past, it wouldn’t be surprising if Hasbro did that again.
Even though it's a kids show, I really want figures of the Rescue Bots characters. They can still be syled on the show, but at least ones with good articulation.
Glad to see Chase. Still waiting for that Heatwave! He is my daughter’s favorite! I guess I’m gonna have to talk Chase up to her in the meantime… 😅
Rescue Bots is kinda underrated, even if it is geared more towards kids
@@JayPlusForerunner YES!!!!
I'm convinced with the Windblade leak after your video and Skids showing up in Legacy after Thew's that Hasbro definitely has someone watching these videos.
Animated Bumblebee seems like he could end up being the basis for a Classics Bumblebee remold, especially because of the vehicle modes being so similar.
A remake of a remake... Are you so sure that would be a good idea? You can just reissue it or buy it used. They're still common.
My God man do we really need yet another bumblebee? The animated version is literally the only mold I can think of that I'd be okay with them putting out, after that I wouldn't care if they didn't release another bumblebee for a decade for real.
Supposedly there's going to be a transformer in Rise of the Beasts that turns into an ancient Mayan stone wall. They could be trying to expand on that idea with a line of characters that turn into rock structures like towers or castles.
Technically Go-Bots animation models DON'T look exactly like the toys because they all had different faces that the toys didn't have. Especially characters who technically don't even have faces in the toy line were given faces in the cartoon. So if they went animation accurate with the faces Machine Robo doesn't share any of those designs. But they'd still probably have to change the body types like they have with Crasher and Bugbite.
So happy for Windblade and Animated Bumblebee! Hopefully we’ll see an Animated Wasp too!
My theory for the “Rock” figures - Minicons maybe? I mean the Minicon panel does look kinda like a rock and I remember it referenced as a rock before…
Perhaps the deluxe Rocks could be 3 packs, new Perceptor, new Star Saber perhaps, I'd love a Requiem Blaster
@@medafan53 all of the Minicon weapons need an update IMO. It would be cool if that was the case though and would make sense
On top of that, Leader-1 seems like he’d be a strong choice for the Core Minicon as Drill Bit (Cybertron Metroplex’s Minicon) is a heavy retool and upscale of him.
@@Megamanlanprime Since they are doing several of the Armada characters, and I believe Hot Shot actually has an, admittedly nonfunctional, mini con port, it would not surprise if the mini cons were coming at some point.
@@medafan53 Yup. Plus the odd ports on Metroplex in the place where Drill Bit would be in his Harvester mode.
I'm most excited about Gears (finally another of the few remaining original 18 Autobots) and Rescue Bots Chase. I'm holding out hope for a Salvage remolded from Bulkhead.
One thing to keep in mind is that for Legacy Year 1, all the Pretenders were coded as "Energon Monster," so the Rock name might not really mean much at all beyond it being a group of semi-related characters.
That’s kinda why I think they are Minicons. Vague enough to have an idea, but also is a group that would fit together as “rocks”. Also in hindsight “Energon Monster” mostly makes sense - The Decepticon Pretenders are Monsters who consume Energon.
I could see a Deluxe minicon pack of maybe Perceptor. Not entirely sure they would do the weapon teams tho but definitely Percy
@@transformnroll2752 I actually think it would be the Weapon sets because there has been a big push from Armada fans to remake them, especially the Star Saber. I could see Perceptor as well but it would depend too. They might even just do Perceptor and the Star Saber to gauge how well the Star Saber would sell before going to the Skyboom Shield and Requiem Blaster
I doubt they’ll call Tazmania Kid Snarl since they’re also doing the Dinobots in core class so they may not want to have two very different characters both named Snarl in the same size class within a year of each other
Huffer, Brawn, Warpath and Powerglide were always taller than the other minibots. The animation models listed Bee and Cliffjumper as being slightly below 3m, Gears and Windcharger at exactly 3m, and Huffer and Brawn at 3.5m; so the figures are actually quite well scaled. If anything, I think Warpath in particular could've been a bit taller.
Powerglide is large compared to the mini bots, but he is smaller than them next to big bots
@@telaviefilms280 Yeah, he's the same scale as Warpath. The show basically depicted them both as about the same stature as the typical car Autobots.
One thing that makes me happy about Rescue Bots Chase is that his original toy is one of the weakest ones out of the line, it can't even stand up on its own. Blades may be my favorite but I can't wait to see how this Chase turns out, assuming the leaks are true.
I'm very excited for Animated Bumblebee, I love animated, I love Bumblebee (particularly the more G1 style Bumblebee where he has car bumper feet and a roof chest and turns into a compact car of some form, a category that is basically g1 and animated) but both times I got the original deluxe one of the ball joint sockets snapped on me, so I am eager to see a new take on the mold. I am curious as to if he will include his turbo boosters, and if they will actually do the flip around forearm stingers like in the show.
Also I'd say on averages Uni is more likely gonna be Universe 3.0, since for one thing 2.0 was similar to what Legacy is doing, reaching for characters from beast wars and the unicron trilogy as well as G1, of note both Lio Prime and Hot Shot were done there as well as in Evolutions. For another United... using a variation on the word unite in the context of the Transformers franchise, it kinda comes with the connotations of a combiner gimmick, in not scramble city style then at least something like RID-Cybertron Optimus combining with someone else for a super mode. Thus far what's been leaked does not suggest combination in any form, so I doubt they'd use United. Of course we could go left field, maybe Legacy: Unicron Battles?
GEARS
FINALLY!!! Holy cats, y'all, I wanna Gears again so bad... PLEASE DON'T COSMOS ME THIS TIME HASBRO
It's still just a rumor, but supposedly Cosmos will be getting a repack release.
@@Lazrael32 That'd be nice. His current $80+ eBay pricetags are pretty absurd, especially for a minibot.
Also, here's hoping we get Windcharger some time next year as well. If all the leaks turn out true (as they usually have), he'll be the last character from G1's first season without a model in the current Netflix/Legacy/Studio Series lineups.
@@Lazrael32 Really?
@@qwertyzillaofficial2969 yes. It's just. Rumor at the moment.
I'm guessing the rocks are just more pretenders. I could be wrong but that is what the "energon monsters" turned out to be. It doesn't make a lot of sense to do rock based transformers. though i could be wrong. or it's a rock and roll type. I'm hoping we are still gonna get a polar claw. they probably largely wanted to do the show characters first!
I think they might actually do rock lords because they’ve been trying to do more go bot characters recently. We got a Crasher again so I wouldn’t be surprised.
@@cahillrebel I highly doubt it. They would have done more mainline Gobots before plunging into their obscure sublines own obscure subline. It just doesn't make much fiscal sense. plus i don't think they own rocklords. just gobots. and even in that they don't own everything. It's a big legal confusing mess.
Pretty sure that the core class tasmanian kid and energon megatron will be from that core class bomb burst mold that was pretty popular!
It would be cool if those Rock figures are like the original concept they had in G1 but the fossils inside of them are the fossilizer's we didn't get in Kingdom
I could maybe see Chase giving them a bit of an excuse for RiD2001 X-Brawn/Car Robots Wildride depending on which version they take the design from.
RID 2001 hasn't gotten much in the way of updates, so one can only hope.
Cyberverse getting into Legacy before more RID 2015 stuff does (yes I know about Strongarm). hurts my soul. Not that Cyberverse Windblade or Chromia are bad inclusions (I would love having a new Generations WB), but it feels like HasTak is forcing evergreen designs into a line that should celebrate the breadth and depth of the last 40 years. Say what you will about RID 2015; its Decepticon lineup was excellent and would add a lot of life to shelves. Also, I wouldn’t mind RID 2015 Grimlock and Animated Grimlock sharing a mold (look at their physiques and it has potential to work).
Core Energon Megatron sounds neat. Waiting for the Galvatron repaint, though!
Chase is a welcome addition and hopefully a sign of things to come. Maybe he’ll get retooled into an evergreen Barricade or something like that.
I welcome Gears’s inclusion in Legacy 3- he can join Needlenose in the “didn’t get a toy due to reasons back then but now he gets a chance to shine” club. And if he’s as good as Needlenose turned out to be, I might consider snagging him (also a Swerve retool because of course).
The “Rocks” being Rock Lord homages is an intriguing theory, but I propose my own counter theories- they’re either the Tripredacus Council (with a Selects repaint into DJ, Motorarm and Gimlet) or certain IDW characters (please let them be Kaon, Vos and Nickel based on the scale).
Sureshot better be better than Pointblank. Needlenose is proof you can do a quality Targetmaster without sacrificing everything for the little buddies.
Animated Bumblebee is welcome. I was content with using Origin BB as a standin for my Animated-ish Autobots (Galaxy Upgrade Optimus’s inner robot, Legacy Bulkhead, Origin BB, and Evolution Prowl depending on how available he is), but if he’s as good as Prowl, then I’m going all in. Throw in an Animated Ratchet and I’ll be happy (okay, add in Megatron and a redone version of Starscream and I’ll really be happy).
Since we have Gears returning from the cancelled Kingdom figures. I am going to speculate/hope that the rocks are the cancelled fossilizers.
Do I expect a Rock Lord? No. Would I love it if it was? Yes.
1:20 The pioneers used to ride those Core Classes
"Core class Rock"
Ah, Prime Cliffjumper, nice
What if those rocks are Cliffjumper, because he was once played by Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock).
I'm excited for Animated Bee but hope he's more along the lines of Prowl than the Prime figures.
Well, the previous leaks had Energon Monsters...
Those turned out to be the pretenders. Not sure if there was suppsoed to be a story reason for calling them energon monsters, or if it was easier to sell them to stores as an energon monster than as a pretender. So i'm guessing that is what the rocks are.
@@Lazrael32 The rocks could be revamped Fossilizers...
or, hear me out- Movieverse Protoforms.
@@TornaitSuperBird It's not impossible but since they have a healthy line dedicated to Movieverse stuff i doubt it. However, i have definitely been wrong before!
@@TornaitSuperBird They'd likely do Movie Protoforms in the Studio Series line, not Legacy; and if they were doing Movie stuff in Legacy at all, it'd be named characters and have a universal suffix like "Movie" like the others. So the chances of "Rock 1" being Movie stuff is minimal.
As for Fossilizers, it's unlikely. They've only put out a single Fossilizer in Legacy so far, and that was Masterdominus as part of the Wreckers subline; besides, you'd think they'd call them something more specific than just "Rock 1", like "Fossilizer 1" or something.
Legacy has already done Crasher, so I think the chances of the Rock listings being Rock Lords is highest since it makes sense to do more Go-Bots stuff if you've already dipped your toes into that pool.
I'm glad Windblade is getting some love!!
2023 the unexpected age of the Rock Lords! Callin' it now!
Here’s an idea since we’re getting a wind, blade toy and since hasbro is going for animated characters, why not reuse that mold for sari I even think they were plans to do something like that
That is possible, though if they were to do bot Sari it would be more fun if they made her core class for scale.
i would love to see a high tide toy with he's boat a it could a be titan master where like in titans return he could become the head of the titan a he's sub mode too that is somthing i would love.
I too wonder if Sureshot is just going to be a repaint/remold/retool of the announced Beachcomber but with a targetmaster gun thrown in.
could be but i'm really hoping not. I wish they released the targemaster partners seperate, and put more money into the main molds.
I find it very unlikely. Sureshot and Beachcomber have different transformations and different scales; a tiny Sureshot would look just as doofy next to the other normal Autobots as a gargantuan Beachcomber would with the other Minibots, including the upcoming Gears/Swerve.
And Hasbro _REALLY_ likes keeping the Minibots in proper sizing with one another, so it's unlikely that they'd sabotage that effort with a too-big Beachcomber.
@@Worldpeacekid yeah. That'd be like making crosshairs from an ironhide mold!! Wait... lol
@@Worldpeacekid Yeah I guess. They have been doing the mini bots is "deluxe" size and all of the other TMasters released have been deluxe as well. Needelnose being the most recent but even when they did Scoop and Cyclonus (Edit: I forgot about the newer Legacy release of Cyclonus) they were deluxe as well. Maybe they over size BC a little to compensate but we'll see. As pointed out, there aren't a lot of dune buggies so I don't see Hasbro creating more than 1 dune buggy based mold. They could rekit that G.I. Joe Bumblebee Awe Striker into Sureshot maybe? Maybe the Beachcomber will be a downsized retool of BBAS. I hope not, but they are a business and I could see that idea at least floated around the table.
And on that note, Hasbro doesn't give 2 squats what the transformation is if it brings in money. I don't recall Laserbeak being a pink car or any car, ever, but there he sits on the Walmart shelf as another repaint of that mold.
first Medix now Chase
I like the deluxe minibots I never liked them being so small compared to other transformers plus they got smaller ones in titans return line only like small transformers if they are targetmasters, headmasters or minicons
I bet it’s a representation of the ores from the comic where shockwave gets control of them
Machine Robo Ganseki Chojin/Rock Lords? Hell yeah!
More Cyberverse Deluxes of major characters? Yes!
Rescue Bots? No! Get that out of here!
I think THIS YEAR is already the best were gonna get out of the mainline currently.
It's eyebrow raising that we're not seeing Quickstrike for 2024 given Tigerhawk and Silverbolt are part of the lineup
im genuinely kind of excited to see what the rocks are, it would be funny if they just transformed into rocks.
A new proper Windblade and Chromia in their Cyberverse designs!!!!! Take my money, can't wait!!!!!!
12:30 There technically was, but only in Galaxy Force.
Buzzed for a chase figure in the legacy style
What rock 2 isn’t gonna be his name but Prowl 2 wants a friend
It's weird that they would pick Chase as their first Rescue Bot to do in Legacy. You'd think they'd go with the more popular characters first and I don't think anyone ever said Chase was their favorite character. Blades seemed to be the fan favorite of that series. I would personally want Heatwave, Quickshadow, High Tide, Salvage, Whirl, and Hot Shot not necessarily in that order but I'm well aware my personal favorites aren't as popular as Blades is. I never got the appeal of Blades but I am really surprised they didn't start with him.
I hope that they are going to do the rest of the Rescue Bots characters later down the line but I'm concerned that if Chase doesn't sell well that they'll take that as sign that no one wants the rest of the characters and then not make them. If they had started with Blades I wouldn't worry about them selling and giving Hasbro incentive to make the rest of the cast.
Wouldn't surprise me if they chose Chase because they could remold the hell out of Earthrise Prowl for it..
@@DevDoesDigimon Chase looks nothing like Prowl though
@@qwertyzillaofficial2969 I mean, the "Prime" Bulkhead doesn't look much like Prime Bulkhead.
@@DevDoesDigimon Prime’s art style isn’t heavily G1, Rescue Bots’ is
Rocklords are back?
What the actual feck are they hasbrewin' up at Hasbro?
Actually, I think it could be the return of those cancelled Fossilizers.
@@TornaitSuperBird I hope not. though that kind of makes sense. I just do not care for the fossilizers. at least the junkions help fill in an established group. 0.o
I'm tempted to collect all of the Legacy Megatrons at this point.
IF we get energon Megs in his jet mode, that'd be a great basis for a non-cassette style Rattbat
what are these legacy figures line are they generations select or evolution
If it weren't for windblade, we could theorize we were getting Galaxy force Chromia, AKA Cybertron Thunderblast, but probably not. So I'm guessing we're getting Cyberverse Starscream instead of Cybertron?
I would pay so much for modern Rock Lords, I dont care if their original or not, just give my boys the respect they deserve
Can't wait for core class energon Megatron to see what he looks like
If we get a new Crosshairs, it'll be G1 style movie Crosshairs, which I want.
if we're getting cyberverse characters then i hope we get swoop
also rescue bots chase could maybe be retooled into the transformers prime vehicons
Side note: will Chase's box say Prime Universe or Rescue Bot Universe?
Most likely Rescue Bots
Probably Rescue Bots
Oh wow rescue bots?!I wonder if they will give us a Salvage.
No Lugnut? Damn.
I hope thet they'll make an animated Ratchet as well (and maybe a new bulkhead) so we can have the complete team.
NGL I'm very much expecting Animated Bumblebee to largely use the same engineering/transformation scheme as like, Hydrodive Bumblebee? Just a bit blockier and hopefully with better arms
I really hope the core megatrons not the only version of energon megatron we get. Energon megs deserves to be voyager at least if not leader
I'd love to get Chase
ngl. im prob gonna buy the chase. rescuebots was part of my child hood, also what could go wrong with chase
I am looking forward to the rock the most! 😂
If we can get chas then can we get titan class hightide
Rescue Bots Chase could be an Earthrise Sunstreaker retool.
I hope he don't
I had a bunch of Rock Lords so I wouldn't mind seeing them and I promise I won't take them for Granite this time.'' (A Boulder comment I couldn't come up with.)
Is that Windblade art a tribute to Mazinger Z?
My thoughts for rock is a unicron rock monster like in tfp
I could care less about 90% of all these. Energon Megatron and Animated Bumblebee are the only two that matter to me and like...Energon Megatron is a particularly left-field choice and I have my doubts about like...if its the Energon Megatron we think it is, but I'll withhold judgement on that until we get more information.
Animated Bumblebee, I 100% share your opinion on. Prowl is an absolute must-buy for me, I think they did a really fantastic job on that figure (Head sculpt is a bit iffy but i think I can live with it), but Bumblebee is just *particularly* iconic with his Animated design, the roundness of him, the unique transformation, and of course his head is so recognizable, tampering with him too much is going to be an absolute crime. As long as they keep the smooth round shapes to him, maintain the head sculpt, and actually keep him that squat, compact little 'half VW bug, half hatchback' thing he turned into originally, I think it'll get at least a "passable" stamp from me.
I also want a figure of RBA Whirl.
Could Rock be a legacy Prime Cliff jumper? ( and Tail Gate repaint?)
“Rocks” sounds like the aerial bots combiner and those are code names! 🤞🏼 👍🏼
I love the newer intro!
“”Law is live”
This is definitely not going to be the case, but I would lose my mind if they redid that one Rock Lord combiner.
Cybertron chromia could be thunderblast cuz I think she was called chromia in japan
I hope we get beast wars combiners in transformers
Is Hasbro maybe watching your videos and taking your advice?
They better not be doing rock lords!
Would it be cool if the rocks are literally rocks that have a robot mode, but also they can combine into Prime Universe Unicron?
Im not sold on the idea of a robot that transforms in a freaking rock.

I wish people would stop saying “G1 style” for legacy versions of characters. It’s a unified CHUG aesthetic more than it’s “Making characters G1”. Bulkhead is the closest it got to making figures G1 and even he feels like he’s going for something different.
Arcee isn’t G1 at all
@@qwertyzillaofficial2969 exactly
NGL, Chromia and Windblade are instabuys for me. Still hoping for a proper IDW Nautica, though...
Hear me out, angry birds transformers legacy figures
WINDBLADE!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! LEETTSSS FUUUUCCCKKIIIIINNNNNN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST A YEAR AND I CAN GET MY 6TH FAVORITE AUTOBOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Gears and Chromia too!!!! I love EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
I like Animated, so Bee is interesting. But the original figure is so solid that I don't think they'll do it justice.
Atop the fact that Animated had a really good timeline. I could say the same about Prime. The toys were solid, and these new versions have sucked
The only below average Legacy Prime/Animated figure is Arcee
Chromia is the Japanese name for Thunderblast in Transformers Cybertron, but it's really unlikely it's her.
The Chromia and Windblade listings use the same abbreviation, CYB, which probably means they'll be the Cyberverse versions of both.
My bet is the rocks are gonna take the place of Junkions and be the new weaponizers of the year. I really thought Chromia was gonna be Thunderblast at first since that was her Galaxy Force name before I remembered that Cyberverse existed.
I think that energon megatron is just the kingdom mold but it all clear purple.
If Windblade had been voiced by another voice actress she would've been adorable. She was unlistenable. It always sounded forcedvand unnatural imho.
Am I the only one getting a little pissed and disappointed at the route this line/the brand is taking? They can only make so many figures per line, and given all the characters from all the other lines/fictions that we really need good updated toys for, it really rubs me raw to see them wasting time, $, and "roster spots" on such stupid things. Half of these listings are real disappointments for me, specifically the cyberverse and rescue bots stuff.
It's a good time to remember that before this G1 had the run of the entire toyline for the last decade, nearly every G1 character of note has been given a modern toy at least once, and only recently we've seen them branch out into other areas. I'm personally glad they're finally expanding and giving other characters a shot, for instance it's great for kids that grew up with Rescue Bots to see a collector's figure of the Transformers they grew up with. No list of leaks is going to please everyone, but even if you're not into their choices, it still shows a Transformer brand more willing to avoid the exhausted characters and try something different at least.
@@TJOmega I didn't mean so much G1 but other lines that at this point in time are nostalgic for a lot of people, and I get what you're saying but I just think some of them are a little too far left field.
When do you think we’ll get a transgendered transformer?
We already have, like 3 times
Crosshairs doesn't need redone. He was the only one of the 3 that kept his cybertron alt mode. And the G1 alt mode isn't a practical vehicle, so the Siege one is the best update.
