I binged this show and absolutely loved it. I also saw many medical KDramas before and this is my 2nd favorite now. My number 1 is still Hospital Playlist. Tough to beat that masterpiece, but this is fun too

And the younger male actor, I just discovered him when I watched The Tale of Lady Ok, which just ended its run. Also an enjoyable watch, but then again, sageuks (historical/period dramas) is my fav kdrama genre.
After Trauma Code, please also watched Dr.Romantic, it has 3 season but it was the BEST Medical Kdrama EVER. It's about a small but weird/interesting country side hospital called doldam hospital, in that weird Hospital there's a very excellent but eccentric Doctor called Kim Sabu/Master Kim. He hired 2 new doctors and trained them to become the best person and surgeon that they can be. Aside from the mysterious Kim Sabu, and the 2 main lead. We also have a very lovable Cast and of course the best Hospital in kdramaland, the Doldam Hospital. In Season 1: (Main leads: is Han Seokkyu, and the other main leads are the male lead from the recently finished When the phone rings Yoo Yeon Seok, and Female lead is Seo Hyunjin). In Season 2: (Main leads: still Han Seok Kyu, Male lead Ahn Hyo Seop, Female lead: Lee Sung Kyung) In Season 3: Combination of the first 2 season. Please check it out!! 🙏🙏🙏🥹

Dr. John, Hospital Playlist, Doctor Romantic, and now The Trauma Code are some of the BEST doctor/medical themed shows I have seen probably even surpassing the standard American doc shows (except The Pitt n Doctor House) Also if for everyone seeing is comment, if you really liked the doctors personality in this show then you would love ‘The Fiery Priest’ as both guys have the same temper😭 What’s even more ironic is that both actors are really good friends irl so knowing that their characters are hilarious in the same way is so wholesome to me.
Korean medical dramas are always graphic. If you want to check more then there's "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim" which is the mild version of Trauma Code and "Hospital Playlist" which has slice of life vibe.

If you liked the visuals of this show then you'll definitely LOVE watching dramas like "Doctor Romantic (S-1,2&3)" and "Hospital Playlist(S-1&2)" they are MUCH more investing and every episode new case with characters developing fast pace. However, IT IS A BIG commitment for both these dramas because they have a continuation storyline through seasons. BUT I SWEAR it's WORTH the watch. Loved that you chose this one to watch.
