Dong Yi and Yi San...i've watched/rewatched over a dozen times. I consider the latter as a sequel to the former. Note the jade love ring that King Yeongjo gave Sung Seong Yeon before he died, which was given to him by his mother, Choi Sukbin. That same ring was earlier given to Dong Yi by King Sukjong.
Yes dong yi and yi San are beautiful stories but Lee San is a bit sad. Another good one is Dae Jang Geum jewel of the palace if you haven't watched it already. I think it's one of the most famous ones out there.

The best Korean historical dramas have got to be the following: - Dae Jang geum jewel of the palace 2003/2004 (I've watched it a few times and it is a beautiful story with moral) - Hur Jun (similar to Jang Geum but I prefer the first one) I think Jang Geum is better but you may disagree - Lee San Yi San wind of the palace (a wonderful story but it is a bit sad) - Jumong (I've heard lots about it but I haven't watched it myself) - Dong yi (I'm currently watching and I think it is very beautiful, recommend it definitely) Let me know if I've missed any! You must watch jumong! Highly, highly reccomend! Its the absolute best historical kdrama by far even though it has a lot of episodes, it covers a long period of his life so its never boring! You must watch it!

One of my favorites is The Jewel in the Palace. I have watched it 3 times. I love Korean historical dramas. The first one I watched was Yee San; Wind In the Palace. Since then I have been hooked!

I have watched 19 of the 25 listed. Historical is my favorite kdrama genre. There's just something about them that draws me in and keep me interested to the end. I have abandoned some kdrama series that aren't historical but it's so hard for me to give up on a historical series.

Yes dong yi and yi San are beautiful stories but Lee San is a bit sad. Another good one is Dae Jang Geum jewel of the palace if you haven't watched it already. I think it's one of the most famous ones out there.

The best Korean historical dramas have got to be the following:
- Dae Jang geum jewel of the palace 2003/2004
(I've watched it a few times and it is a beautiful story with moral)
- Hur Jun (similar to Jang Geum but I prefer the first one) I think Jang Geum is better but you may disagree
- Lee San Yi San wind of the palace (a wonderful story but it is a bit sad)
- Jumong (I've heard lots about it but I haven't watched it myself)
- Dong yi (I'm currently watching and I think it is very beautiful, recommend it definitely)
