Thanks for the review and demonstration! I’m 23 and I just got this for Black Friday for myself 😂 I think it’s cool how many game options there is and would be fun on the road as a little travel gaming device
You could get a smudge-resistant screen protector and considering kids would be using it, cleaning the screen often.

I think Apple Ipad is better
I just got this and let's just say this mama is not tech savvy. Does anyone have a video of how I can delete things on it. It shows all these options and its overwhelming. I would like him to only see what I choose for him to see. Any help?

You have to jailbreak it with vpn to download UA-cam kids
Does it come with youtube app?
No. However there is a way to add videos. You go into the adults side of things on this tablet. Go into UA-cam and start a video. There will be a black bar with a green button that says add to home screen. This sounds hard but this is actually a good thing because we don’t won’t our toddlers to surf the web. When you click add to Home Screen this gives you the chance to go into the home menu, parental controls and add the video that you want for them. Then your child is ready to go.
Kids+ is not good on iOS and android because you can’t download shows or movies you can only download books for long car rides
My son did that to his last tablet poured water on it🤦🏾♀️ now he's getting another one ugh the terrible two stage 🤦🏾♀️
I heard if you contact Amazon they’ll send you a new one for free if any damage happens to it. That’s the main reason I got this instead of the iPad. Correct me if I’m wrong.
@@carolesuggs7784 Apple tech support and warranty are so bad. iPad is not durable either as they can be easily bend and warranty usually not cover bend as they think it's the user fault when it is the design flaw from Apple. I owned an iPad pro 12.9 2021 but for my future kid I would buy something like fire HD or Sony Xperia Tablet with durable case.
Apple care+ is just awfully expensive. Apple product don't really target kid user but rather for more mature or professional user. Apple will make parent cry more than children when the iPad break because apple just care about money at this point.
Getting apple is like buying Mercedes-Benz when they are out of warranty. I see at least $100 to $500 in repair for out of warranty Apple products.

Is the amazon fire HD 8 a completely different tablet than the amazon fire HD 8 kids version tablet? Or is the kids version just something you download onto the regular amazon fire HD tablet? Also, I’ve heard there aren’t many free kids learning apps to choose from on the App Store. Did you find many free apps specifically for preschool/kindergarten learning?

Not that easy to use for a toddler. My IPad is actually easier to switch apps.

Hi Kendra yes you can get google play on fire kids but it is risky and you will need me to help you otherwise you may hacked.
@@luvkendraxoxox that's what I've been wondering I can't seem to find UA-cam kids in the App Store on my daughters hd8 fire for kids. Which is a bummer because that is a main point why I bought this thinking I could get that since I have a subscription to UA-cam kids
@@enigma2224 Yes we want to buy a tablet for our 2 year old grandson but it must have UA-cam lol because well his favorites are there like the very popular Baby Shark and other songs!
@@mujerdehonor the fire 8 for kids from Amazon that I bought my almost three year old daughter for Christmas I sure has been collecting dust because I still haven't figured a way to get UA-cam or mainly UA-cam kids on there! If you're going to buy a tablet I'd suggest getting something that's compatible with UA-cam!

Actually this is a great idea, toddlers need to be entertained especially going on trips. Which is why she purchased it.
