Thanks for watching! That’s the main I reason I started this series over 5 years ago was so I was able to go back and rip a lot of boxes that I never got to.
One of my favorite sets of all time! I recall vividly struggling to squeeze them into standard top loaders. Love that stocking idea! Keep up the good work!
Weird, it wouldn't let me comment until now. The Mattingly and Maddux inserts were great. Add in the Arod and it was a great box overall! Gonna miss these normal TBTCT vids. Thanks for all the refound memories and nostalgia Jon.
Man! I've been trying to work on a few things. If I had focused on them more, I could have gotten them to you in time. Would have been perfect throw ins into your TPIA Stockings. Good luck to everyone getting this one! Thanks man
Love your content...I enjoy buying selling and sorting cards....worked at a card shop in the 90s when Beckett was God and condition wasn't the be all end all of a card value and I also don't remember really looking at the centering....but loved opening packs back then for sure.
Great video as always Jon. Loving seeing the old wax ripped it always brings back memories of opening it up as a youngster. Pee-Wee should try getting the patch. Maybe you can get the patch for him for Christmas, so he doesn't keep stealing your change everyday.
I remember getting one of those packs as a child and thought I hit the lottery when I got a Griffey hot glove. I wish I knew what I did with it. Great break.
@thepastisalive I was born and raised in Pittsburgh collected cards since the 70s I live in va.but still have relatives in my hometown I miss Pittsburgh very much thanks for answering me back I love my buccos & Steelers have a Blessed Christmas
I also buy collections and sometimes have to let the seller down easy with the “junk wax” talk. They look at what the cards are listed as on ebay. I have to tell them to look at the sold price lol.
Weren't these $4 retail in 1994? Adjusting for inflation that means they went down in price. Seems like a nice deal to be honest. Cool set and I love the inserts
F l a i r made a beautiful card I remember when they came out they were expensive it's a shame like A-Rod was the only chaser the rest of that set was not worth anything
Thanks for keeping the past alive! There are so many packs I missed out on ripping from 1994-2022 and now I can see what I missed.
Thanks for watching! That’s the main I reason I started this series over 5 years ago was so I was able to go back and rip a lot of boxes that I never got to.
Really enjoyed the flair cards. Really nice. I remember trying to get a boost in my allowance when they came out. Keep up the great content.
29.99 at Kmart back in day, I got a few. Greats times
Love watching you rip packs from my childhood. I've recently gotten back into the hobby, partially thanks to you 😂
One of my favorite sets of all time! I recall vividly struggling to squeeze them into standard top loaders. Love that stocking idea! Keep up the good work!

So many great mullets in this set, preserved in glossy glory for all time! fun rip, thanks Jon!
Commenting something that isn’t hi. lol. Truly enjoy your videos. Thank you for continuing doing them.
Always the best time with you and the gang. Keep the past alive. 👍👍

Maddux Hot Gloves! I pulled that myself back in '94!
Man! I've been trying to work on a few things. If I had focused on them more, I could have gotten them to you in time. Would have been perfect throw ins into your TPIA Stockings. Good luck to everyone getting this one! Thanks man
All good buddy! I’ll probably do them again next year with different packs.
Man those were one of my favorite card sets. They were so expensive for that time period as well.
I got stocking like that back in the 90s there so cool thanks
Thx Jon, another fine rip!
Another gem! I need a red net stocking for Xmas.
I remember driving to my LCS (now defunct) and getting these (expensive in the day) . Nothing like a 30 min box opening with 22 min of unwrapping

That UV gloss on each side should last centuries 😮
Great video as always Jon. Loving seeing the old wax ripped it always brings back memories of opening it up as a youngster.

Pee Wee needs to shape up or he is going to be kicked to the curb soon 😀
Great pull on that ARod! Love the Flair design
I remember getting one of those packs as a child and thought I hit the lottery when I got a Griffey hot glove. I wish I knew what I did with it. Great break.
I'd love to see the confusion on Mike Walkden's face seeing his card presented in a snow globe. Sweet to get the Aroid on the last pack.
Catching the replay well on the clock at work 😏
By making these packs, Flair was responsible for most deforestation in 1993-94
😂
Diggin' the ric FLAIR rips, Wooooo!
I remember opening 94 flair as a kid lol
I used to buy these in 1994 at store named Shoppers Paradise. Pulled 3 Arods.
Flair was baseball cards for the high society. I loved how each pack came in their own little box. That was classy in my book
This box was high society in 1994 and then Jon's brother is opening Gilded Collection in a different video today.
I remember opening these packs in 1894.
Jon thank you for the good times! Bryan congrats on the pull! Whoop whoop juggalos!
I have a 93 Flair set, nice cards.

Such a great swashbuckling rip!

The original Horseman of baseball cards.... WOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Great video as usual, keep up great content
You found a box 91 Flair? Inconceivable!
What a great gift to give!!!!
Good luck!
Happy Festivus!
I remember my friend making fun of the Yankees. announcers: "A-Rod hit a A-Bomb!"
Love me some Flair!
I have a 93 Flair set, nice cards
I want that 90s Topps Griffey scab!

Hey, at least you waited till the last pack to pull the banger this week.
Right? Change it up a bit 😀
Thank you for the giveaway
Enjoy your videos. Wasn't the biggest fan of 94 Flair but were nice looking cards. Please pull that Frank Thomas NNOF for Christmas! 😅
I just want to say, I enjoy your content and no offense to your brother, I think you are funnier 😂
Thanks Marshall! I’m glad you enjoy it!
Randy Johnson never had over 400 SO’s in a season. Nolan Ryan holds the record with 383.
Watching this after the fact. I've got a broken egg shell bottle for the guy making comments about Puerto Ricans.
Omg i totally forgot about billy van landinham. And im a giants fan lmao😂
Mike Blowers.
I also buy collections and sometimes have to let the seller down easy with the “junk wax” talk. They look at what the cards are listed as on ebay. I have to tell them to look at the sold price lol.

$4 sounds right on the money for what they costed back then.
I had that A Rod card. Now I can’t find it. I think my twin brother stole it.
A Juggalo is a fan of the music group "Insane Clown Posse".
Let me know how much for shipping if you want to throw those boxes my way.
Did you end up hitting up any antique stores over the weekend?
We can win? Oh my god he admit it
too funny first box i've seen since COVID sell for less than it's original price
A sentence preferably.
Is Jobu stealing your loose change for rum and does he get into fights with Pee Wee for it?
Was Juan Gonzalez not in series 2?
A brother u live where the guy that was wanted for the NYC killing ?
That guy was picked up about an hour and some change from me, but that’s a place I go often to antique stores.
Win a stocking?!? Never heard of him. Never heard of you? Bob Walk? I don't know can ya?
Only the few will understand this comment. Priceless 😀
@@thepastisalive I transcribed it once. It made my brain dramatically less functional.
PeeWee will win my stocking and sell it for crank and pall malls
F l a i r made a beautiful card I remember when they came out they were expensive it's a shame like A-Rod was the only chaser the rest of that set was not worth anything
