Roman, I highly encourage you to check out a headstrap gopro setup so you can film the truck POV style and have free hands. Doesn't have to be a permanent solution, but one for when you are flying solo during these previews.
Putting in some real work for the fans here Roman! Much appreciated, I love this new trim, perfect competitor for the Rebel, Tundra TRD and Silver Trail Boss/ ZR2. I do think they should have thrown in some better suspension with this package, people will really have to consider that loss when cross shopping, especially with the Tundra TRD.
I just bought a 2022 Tremor in grey with everything but the moonroof. It was love at first sight when it appeared on the lot. I'm an old guy and this may be my last truck. What a blast to drive and with the 400hp V6 tc it's amazing. I'm a happy guy.
I just picked mine up today! The real story here that no one seems to mention is that similarly to the F250 version this maintains pretty respectable payload capacity- a stark contrast to competitors like the Rebel. Mine is a 401a truck- not crazy but still really nice, and I have a payload capacity of 1699lbs. This is the first offroad biased 1/2 ton Ive bought- specifically because it still has the capacity to tow my travel trailer.
I was a fan of the F250 tremor when it came out but with the F150 I would rather have an option for a 5.0. For 70 grand Id stick with my FX4 and keep my aftermarket off-road goodies.
F150 tremor is 57k Canadian if you order online so you don't have to deal with markups. Would rather pay 57k for the tremor, than 50k for an XLT fx4. Atleast the tremor has leather, heated seats etc
Very good review. I think the F150 Tremor fills that void between and FX 4 and a Raptor. For me, the way I use my truck and off road the Tremor makes perfect sense. Having the option to get the Torsen front axel, and turn assist make it a very capable off roader. For those reasons I would chose this package over the other F150 models. If it is really lacking HP then for around $1800 get the Roush performance pack and get another 71 Hp without voiding your factory warranty. The Tremor is also 6” narrower than the Raptor, so if you run narrow trails, or areas with a lot of brush the Tremor has the advantage. However, if you want pure unadulterated Baja fun, Raptor for the win.
I really like the honesty and straightforward reviews of vehicles on this channel. I think the tremor is still expensive. Seeking a off road daily driver on my end.
And with all this technology there is no way is going to last 10 reliable years. It needs to be basic (with all mandatory government spying/termination citizens devices).
Yes everyone complains about small screens and demands big screens and bigger sun roofs. This drives the cost up. I can careless about that stuff in a truck.
@@cl3410 Exactly I couldn't care less about an 11" screen, a 360 camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and especially a sunroof. I hate that all dealer ordered trucks are becoming expensive trims.
You read my mind lol. I might opt for the XLT though just for a couple of creature comforts for my kiddos. I have a 5.0 with borla exhaust, Hammerhead bull bar, level kit and 35" KO2'S. If they offered this package on my truck I would have saved some time piecing it together.
this is not a package, but a trim, albeit very limited options and fixed cab and engine configuration. The transfer case is different from the XLT and XL.
I loved this solo basically unedited video! Obviously good to have mainly professional style videos, but a good one like this where you show everything even a fun interaction with some other off roaders is very enjoyable to watch!

The Tremor is the truck I would buy. The only down side to the truck is only having a 1” lift. Thanks for the video Roman you did a great job working without help filming.
Nice Roman! Amazing truck. You do know it has a torsen limited slip in the front (option), and a locking transfer case from the Raptor. The front camera with 360 camera package REALLY helps on off road!
Roman, that was great fun...question, are you a plumber now 😝 Thanks for all you do keeping us informed and entertained. Love to be your camera guy next time.
Great job on the solo shoot - I was not in control of what options I got on mine.. I would have loved the 360 cameras and torsion front instead of the sunroof :p
It reminds me of what we would call a good "hunting truck" back in the day. Good off road, bit also can tow and work well. It seems awfully big and square. I guess I'm glad there are more options available for these different truck packages.
Great review Roman. Like seeing some of the off road tests with the Tremor. I just bought a 23 Black 402A and love it. Traded in my 18 Platinum FX4 w/the 3.5. The comfort of the Tremor, ride and power are noticeably better to me. This truck has everything my Platinum had minus self parking and massaging seats. I love the dual exhaust and it sounds good. The power of this engine is a step up to me. I think with the 3:73 gearing and extra HP/Torque, the fun level is higher and better than in my old truck for sure. FYI, the Tremor is as fast as the Raptor in the 1/4 mile @ 13.9 sec (Car Driver Review) The interior is very nice and love the leather seats and overall quality. Really like the looks, stance and the added suspension changes and the torsion. I think the Tremor is the best option out there in this segment - excluding the Raptor.
All these new trucks are good and expensive. They are a great for.open areas like Moab but not so much for mountain terrain and tight trails due their size. Most end up being boulevard cruisers for status symbols.
Agree. Front lock is $500 option. The raptor transfer case requires 402a package. Total add is about $13k to get both options. You get a lot of nice options in the 402a package but if you just want the upgraded transfer case and front locker it’s kinda steep. Personally I’d go for it and add the 2kw power on board to keep the beer fridge cold IF I knew the 3.5 ecoboost cam phaser issues are finally solved.
I saw last year on the Canadian Ford site when the F-150 Tremor was first announced that the shock absorbers were made by Hitachi. Two things Ford should have offered on this truck, the option of a 5.0L V8 or 3.5L V6 & either a SuperCab (with 6.5' bed) or the SuperCrew (with 5.5' bed).
It's all about tradeoffs. You want pure offroading? Get a Raptor. You want max towing? Get an FX4. The Tremor does not come in a max tow pckg; it tows 3,000 lbs less than the FX4 w/ max tow. But it has superior articulation and clearance. Me, I wanted that 13,900 lb tow and superior payload, and 4x4 primarily for hazardous conditions. I would never take any truck I paid new-truck money for seriously offroading. If I think Ima scrape something Ima taking a different way. That's just me.
If i could afford it I'd go for the tremor. It would be a perfect setup for camping. The payload capacity for my gear and still be able to go off road to get wood.

You guys keep complaining about the price but just so you know a similar F150 Lariat with a 3.5 ecoboost, FX4 package is about the same price, 65k-70k, so in a way this is a bargain with the torsen diff and some of the offroad goodies.
only hole in your argument is that Tremor is a XLT base not a Lariat. You pay for everything to get up close to a loaded Lariat. No bargain. Lariat with a front locker would be great
My bad. Finally have a day off - the color is Antimatter Blue Metallic. Found out when updating my insurance. --------------- Dude, that is so obviously Midnight Blue! LOL, when I just bought my Powerboost F150 yesterday, I thought it was black until the sales guy told me to look closer. If I didn't want an EV, I'd get the Tremor in a heartbeat, because it would make a good tough ranch truck as well as being tons of fun when not working; a great intersection of practical and kick-ass fun because that is what guys do...!
There was a lot of things not mentioned, skid plates, lift is 2 in not 1, towing capacity is the highest of all F150s(3k more than raptor). Bigger tires and wheels, locking rear differential, individual front suspension. Also the thing is pretty damn fast…..
Just ordered a new tremor. Picked it over the raptor for a few reasons 1. The raptors are not available and if you do find one you will pay at least 85k. 2. The raptor doesn't fit on the tight trails and forest roads we have here in the pnw. 3. Towing capacity. 4. Fuel mileage. The tremor is hard to find these days too with the current regime running the country into the ground but they are available and the additional dealer mark up is usually only about 5k-10k where I've seen a raptor be at 25k.
Very solid solo job. Love the tremor package. That said it's starting to get into LC 200 series territory price wise. Does it best the LC? If so, that's a high value vehicle.
Andres FX4 with a leveling kit and front air dam removal would bey setup if I was going to off-road a new F150. Throw some BFGs on there and you can do 99% of what this tremor can do and about 97% of what a raptor can do.
Love you guys and kind words of critique, great videos, my fave on UA-cam actually. However while this is still a great video, please stick to editing the vids and adding music. Little bit of a snoozer without the editing of long pauses with no music and nauseating camera movements in other words. Keep up the good production quality and the awesome work! Y’all are the best of the best IMO!
What is wrong about this description is this is the not only option. The V8 5.0 is also an option for this Tremor and I love this motor with the Tremor setup with a Borla exhaust.
I like the idea of the Tremor F150. I only wish it came with a factory lift of 2.5in, not a level, but actual suspension lift knuckle lift or similar. Also, add 34's with front locker and it would be perfect! I'd imagine most people buying the Tremor will lift it a little anyway.
Roman, I'm looking at a LT Trail Boss but I like the look of the Ford better, would you consider an FX4 more comparable and a better value than the Tremor? I will be doing offroading in the U.P of michigan but mostly logging trails and overlanding stuff, no real rock crawling. Which of these do you think would be the best value and still get the job done?
I would too but the f250 to get the tremor package you have to get the lariat and if you want the diesel which everyone does, it starts at 70k. If you want the 7.3 godzilla it will start at about 60k.
@@masonkaye5 I mean, a raptor is close to that amount of money. I guess it depends what you value, but all-around capability, I’d go with the 250 for a similar amount of money
@@zcbowers94 I would prefer the diesel f250 tremor xlt but that doesn't exist o I would prbably go for an f150 tremor but I would love to own any of the three. Also with diesel prices being so high where I live I would not want a diesel. I totally understand where you are coming from though and if I needed the capability of a 250 I would get that as well, but my f150 is more than enough for my bass boat.
Anyone know if Ford fixed the cam phaser issues once and for all? Nice Truck but I really don’t like the idea of having the engine torn down to fix a problem that’s been on going for years.
I told my wife that I was willing to buy the f350 tremor in the XL package but it's not even offered on anything under the lariat. Really disappointing. Im willing to buy a new truck but I'm too frugal to spend 20k+ on a package. This chip shortage is frustrating.
I went down a trail with my old truck and it felt straight down you can feel your weight in the seatbelt seatbelt just keeping you in the seat then I took my new truck down the same trail and the incline ohmmeter read 28°

One of my favorite F150 models
If I were spending raptor money, I’d get an F-250 tremor
6.5 bed with the crew cab?
Roman, what kind of watch is that you are wearing? I like how the orange band kind of matches the trim color of the Tremor.
I have that charger tried already when electric when out u can power half your house if your a two story
If they offered the Tremor with the 5.0 V8 it would be a very easy YES.
Anyone know if Ford fixed the cam phaser issues once and for all? Nice Truck but I really don’t like the idea of having the engine torn down to fix a problem that’s been on going for years.
recall now being done. It doesn't have to be torn down. Software fixes it.
My god that is a sharp looking truck
The people in the Side by Sides were probably office workers from Ford sent to follow you around.
Man, that is nice. I'd love to own one.
Can you please let me know what you have and don’t have on your Tremmor. ?
I told my wife that I was willing to buy the f350 tremor in the XL package but it's not even offered on anything under the lariat. Really disappointing. Im willing to buy a new truck but I'm too frugal to spend 20k+ on a package. This chip shortage is frustrating.
I went down a trail with my old truck and it felt straight down you can feel your weight in the seatbelt seatbelt just keeping you in the seat then I took my new truck down the same trail and the incline ohmmeter read 28°
21:19! Roman just created a new word, unobtainium! Classic. Great video and beautiful truck, Roman.
