Video is very good. I tried propogating in water. But I had to change the water every 2-3 days since i could see mosquitoes larvae swimming in n the water. After 6 weeks there are no roots, but 3-4 leaves have come up on the top of the cutting. Is this ok? Or should i just throw it out.
Sometimes leaves appear before roots. Roots will certainly come.

Finally, after 10 weeks, there are 8-9 roots in one of the croton cutting kept in water. There are also 4, 5 leaves on top. Should I repot it now or is it too cold? I stay in Delhi and temp is 30 oC max and 15 oC min nowadays. Please advise. I would like to show you the root and leaves growth. Can you give your Whatsapp no.?

No. Leaf nodes can produce root but there will be no branching unless the leaf is attached to even a small branch.

in air layering... you used cocopeat and tied using thread... wont you need to pouring water ?
A plstic sheet was used to cover. So moisture get retained inside.

You can grow either in soil or water. There is no need to change water. Honey, or cinamom powder can be used as an alternative to rooting hormone.

Which method of propagation of croton by cuttings is most appropriate in October-November in Lucknow
Winter brings dormancy for croton. October, November are not the appropriate months for any methods. It will take much longer to root. This is true for North Indian climate.
