Good reaction, excellent discussion! This episode and the next are probably my favorites of the pre-Netflix era! But do keep in mind that Chloe _still_ doesn't actually _know_ that he's really, truly the devil! And now there's something _else_ she doesn't know--about herself! Which is something to keep in mind. No spoilers, but Chloe _needs_ to know this stuff!
I can't remember if it's already aired yet or not, but there is an episode where Lucifer actually sings lyrics to the tune of the opening theme song. If it hasn't happened yet, keep an eye out for it. It's not a major plot point and it's quick and easy to miss, but I just wanted to point out that there are - sort of - actual lyrics to the theme song.
Unfortunately, if you really listen to it and compare it, the melody is actually a bit different (for example the second note goes down instead of up). It would have been really cool if it was the intro tune (and I like to rewrite it to fit that), but I feel like it was probably actually just a coincidence that it sounds so similar.
Next episode is one of my favorites from the whole series 😍 Can’t wait to see your reaction! Sending love all the way from Montenegro 🇲🇪❤️ keep up the great work 🙌🏻
'Some divine intervention will save Chloe' God placed Chloe in Lucifers path. So if Chloe is in danger of dying, do you think that God will intervene directly ? I will not give any answer, but 2x13 is a really good episode. Lucifer is an angel and was cast out of heaven. His mom and dad chose 'Samael' as his first name. Why do I say this ? It might come handy for the next episodes :-)
You don't remember the earlier episode where Amenadiel goes to bring flowers to Maze? She isn't there, but Penelope Decker is and she *RECOGNIZED* him.
I agree, vilifying someone for the choices they made in a life and death situation is fucked up. You can lie and say that you would have saved the student, but unless and until you are in that situation a lie is all it will be.
We don't know what God's intentions were in putting Chloe on earth, Mum doesn't know either. God allowed Chloe to exist 35 years ago, Mum has only been on earth for a few months after having spent millennia in hell, there is no way Mum knows what God's intentions are, she is just guessing and trying to make Lucifer hate God even more. Chloe's only special power is to be immune to Lucifer's mojo, and Lucifer for some reason is vulnerable when she is around, the rest is just speculation. When Mum said, "chloe is the key", she was referring to the fact that when Lucifer found out that Chloe had been created by God on purpose to cross paths with him, he would become furious and willingly help Mum to get to heaven and take revenge on god. The terrible thing about Mum's attitude is that she had no regard to destroy Lucifer's happiness. Even Maze, being a demon, was more sensitive to not destroying Lucifer's happiness. What a shitty family!
You will love where the writers have taken us next! Don't say never, cause it could happen! Mum's big plan is to sabotage the Chloe/Lucifer relationship in order to facilitate her return to heaven -- very deceitful and mean! Mum needs space where she can do no more harm!
This is such an annoying episode. That guy wouldn't have had enough time to save the kid in the vehicle before blowing up. If he tried to save him, he'd have died.
Amenadiel never actually turns invisible. The only time he isn't seen is when he slows time
SHE SANG WITH CARLY! FINALLY! My weekend is made. ;-) Cheers from Florida.
I love that you loved Chloe's laugh too.

Man it always gets me how dead on some of your speculations are 😳 (won’t spoil tho)

I swear it’s the funniest thing people saying mum for her name😂😂 like that’s all they call her and we have to but it’s so funny for no reason at all

episode 13 is the best one
I've just discovered this channel today.
Are these two a couple?
you have to make videos frequently. :( waiting for too long
