Dee, I also want to say something else. Please handle Jamaicans with care, The same Jamaicans who love you so much, can also turn against you especially if you disrespect one of them. In future when you offer something to a Jamaican, make sure you do your best to deliver. I am watching the comments and everyone sympathize with Shane

What happened lol? The experienced 'world traveler' of '40 countries' didn' think to check visa requirements for a new country and especially for a new traveler she was looking after? First thing I would have done is check if a visa is required. Return tickets mean nothing on their own in some countries, even with a UK passport I have been asked in some places for return ticket, insurance, accommodation evidence and even evidence of financial support. Feel sorry for Shane, guy seemed so deflated. I would have stood in solidarity with him and said ok if you don't fly today, I don't fly either and lets get your visa and rebook.

If Dee had checked with the airlines or travel agency and got wrong information then there would be an excuse but google? Seriously? On top of that she was in my opinion very arrogant about her response to the outcry of the Jamaicans. “It’s her money that was spent and lost and those talking have never bought anyone a plane ticket before and she carried on….that she never had to make the situation public… but yes Dee you had to make it public because you made the purchasing of the ticket for Shane public and we would want to know how come we are not seeing him in your vlogs. I felt embarrassed Shane, if I were you Dee…..I wouldn’t have continued with the trip and go back with Shane. For a so called world traveler, I’m disappointed you didn’t check for the visa requirement to enter that country before buying the ticket. That’s what any sensible human being would do. This is even more necessary when you don’t have a passport that is very strong for travels.
I travel a bit and I did not know you need a visa to travel anywhere in the Caribbean with a Jamaican passport, did you know that before you saw this?

The first thing a person do when traveling is to find out if a visa is required having a ticket means nothing can't just fly into people's country without permission 😢
U need to watch UA-cam more. A chartered plane recently w/over 200 indians landed in JA, 2 of the passengers aboard were not even on the list to fly. It's only decent citizens customs harass.

He wouldn’t have even been able to get into Africa without a visa… they have to have a return ticket and they have to have an address of where he would be staying EACH AND EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Jamaicans can travel to Turks and Caicos without a visa but must have a valid passport 6 months prior to traveling as per Google search

There are few countries, Jamaican passport can use and travel, but you must always do your travel check. There's no way you just buy tickets and never check entering a country requirement. Please make it up to Shane by buying a ticket to a country where he can visit visa free. Plus, you will benefit for new experience and content. I know you will never do this to hurt him as the naysayers saying.

The first thing you check as a traveler is the travel requirements for each country you wish to travel to, i.e. neighboring or not neighboring. You should have lent your lesson with the South Africa incident. Anyway, enjoy your stay.

This is surprising that you did not have him check this. All travellers know that they must check to make sure their passport has 6 months before the end of their trip and visa requirements. Dee, the flights are short. They don't need business class. They are air buses. It is like taking a bus. That flight was not a long flight.
