I don't really cube anymore, but I watched this and it was incredible. I actually have autism as well (though it's not quite the same as Max's) and it offers a quite accurate insight into how an autistic mind is different from a neurotypical mind. I'm really glad that this medium is being used as a way to raise awareness of neurodiversity in addition to showing the speedcubing community.
I have autism too, and I was trying to figure out how to explain how this documentary made me feel, and this did it. That's exactly how it made me feel too. Max Park is my hero.
That’s my favorite part of cubing. There are so many people in the community that think and express themselves like I do. It’s so refreshing to be able to go and meet like minded people like that. As someone who is autistic myself, I can’t possibly describe how amazing it feels to watch Max accomplish these incredible feats like it’s nothing. He’s in a class of his own, and I can’t help but think about how Autism may have played in to that
@@bossinater43 Me too! Autistic people are stereotyped to be stupid, unaware and unable to really think well. When autism for a lot of us is a minor setback that slows us down but n ever stops us.
I'm currently self diagnosed (I realized oh shi- i have autism like 2 weeks ago and around the holiday so don't judge for being self-diagnosed I haven't had time to get diagnosed) and I also believe I have more of a minor form where I hate social environments and things like jeans sometimes give me a sensory overload. This is a really good documentary indeed and I love it when famous people are also autistic (Albert Einstein, etc.).
I can't believe that a documentary on a cube would make me cry so much! 😭😭😭 It's not enough to win, you gotta have a good heart! Seriously, huge love and admiration to both of them!!! ❤🧡💛💚 (Feliks & Max)
Omg 😱 your new setups are amazing I love them I have been watching you fro so long and really can tell when you are super hyped for video Quick story real quick 1 week ago I had a surgery and brought my thunderclap v3 m and a nurse saw it and pointed out that she saw the documentary and thought it was amazing It was really cool to see non cubers know about cubing
In 1980, when I was 11, I had an original Rubik's cube and could solve it in about 1 minute. I am in awe of you cubers! This doc hit me in so many ways. Felix is a true hero and Max is truly gifted. I wish them both the best. I tried a cube a few years ago and still remembered the pattern for two layers haha
I don't agree with reaction channels but this is well made. This isn't just a video of you watching the entire thing just slapped on yt. Still not my favourite type of content but this is an exception.
Thai documentary was beautiful and heartwarming. It was the director’s first film (at least to get widespread public recognition. i believe she is a Korean filmmaker, and she did such an unbelievable job documenting Max’s story and the relationship between Feliks and Max. It’s so amazing to see this film prompted/punished by Netflix!!! Edit: Of course Chris Olson deserves all the credit in the world, his filmmaking is WORLD CLASS!!
I've watched this video a dozen times and I am now just realizing all the Criterions in the background lol. Awesome to see another cuber/cinephile 😎😎😎😎
yeah, watched the movie on Netflix yesterday and it was really good, as in really good. I am not a cuber, though was in a jrHS competition way back in 1982 I think it was.... we were all finishing under a minute, but what these guys can do is amazing. But the story, the way it was put together. Really cool. So when I saw this reaction in my feed, I had to watch... and excellent! cheers!
Really? I don't think the show was that emotional. For me the most emotional part was when Azula killed Aang with lighting and he lost the ability to in the Avatar State
I think in the ATLA poster something is off. You can see Aang's eyes are lit so he must be in the Avatar state but his tattoos are normal and from what I know Avatar Air Nomads are supposed to have their tattoos glow while in the Avatar State. It's still cool though

"No podiums make you stronger" - Max Park.
Cubing has reached its peak (2x2-3x3 mainly) and this documentary tops it off and for me is the cherry on top for what we've been through
