Hi, Matt, thanks for the tips. Just a question for tip #4 - adding colors for background. I could not find the option under "Edit". It's not there. I wonder why.
You are an amazing & dynamic presenter. What an awesome flow to the information you share. Easily understood & so helpful! Brilliant! Fyi ~ @2:00 "HeighT" (sharp T sound & a tall, tall tree ; up down direction) vs. "WidTH" (dipthong of the "TH" together sound; H like a wide barbell; side to side direction).
Control + Shift + . ---- oh my!!!!! Who knew? Apparently not me, but I do now! Thanks so much! And because you made me curious about Control Shift features, I played around to see what else I was missing. On a text box, Control Shift J - left justify, Control Shift R - right justify, Control Shift E - Center
Great job, Matt. I appreciate the tips. I tried them one by one as you covered them. I have a few questions about Google Drawings. If I create a drawing from the app, is there a way to preserve its integrity and copy it into a Google Doc? I know I can download it as a jpeg or png and insert it as a drawing. I'd like to simply copy and paste it into a doc. That way I could type inside of the shapes as they function as textboxes. I tried the jpeg and png and they look nice but I'd probably need to insert text boxes over the shapes. I know I have to option to create a Google Drawing as an insertion in a Google Doc. Unfortunately, the drawing within the doc set up doesn't have the tools and formatting options such as drop shadow and reflection of word art. Maybe I did it wrong. I can change the font, fill and line colors, but that is all. Maybe you have it covered in another video. I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for your tips.
These were such great tips and tricks! The keyboard shortcut at the end blew my mind!! Thank you!

Thanks for the tips! Just curious, what do you see as the biggest benefits to using drawings for these types of products versus slides?
Fantastic! Every tip is worth a fortune in terms of creating beautiful things to be used in class - or everywhere. Thank you so much.
Great tips. Thank you for sharing.
Really good video! Thanks for the tips!

I just remembered that you can't create a textbox in a Google Doc and insert it over a drawing.
