Just wonderful...very proud of our Military, good job all. My, so many tall soldiers. Its the first time I've seen the Fusileers and they did a great job as did the vets, cadets and the Irish Guards who escorted them. My bro was a lifer, piper in Cameronians, 19th Royal Artillery/Royal Tank Reg . He passed on Xmas 2018 so the videos are so special to me. 2 Gt.Uncles WW1, 3 Uncles WW2 all Cameronians. Tks again for making my night.
A magnificent parade, different than others i think, a very long march! Praise to all the members involved, beautiful marches played by the extraordinary Irish Band, thanks to their impeccable mythical SDM Gareth Chambers! Thanks to you AFV for this fantastic video, i much enjoyed it!! Good night!
Fantastic video! Great to see the new DOM Cpt. C. Lawrence on Parade! The marches played were, 1) 0:25-The Seventh Royal Fusiliers 2) 1:34-Star of Erin 3) 3:31-Through Bolts and Bars (Per Aspera Ad Astra) 4) 4:48-Northumbrian Airs 5) 6:13-The King's Guard 6) 7:17-Standard of St. George 7) 8:02-The Contemptibles 8) 9:38-Star of Erin
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Thanks very much Delvin, very happy to be able to make this parade! The sound through the streets was unreal! ‘Blaydon Races’ sounded fantastic!
As I said on the other version of this parade the band sounds really good with a nice selection of marches - really like Northumbrian Airs and not too often heard
@@charlottecunningham2141 Hello Charlotte! Hope you're keeping well! Peter Brydon has not retired. He's transferred to British Army Band Tidworth. Now replaced by another female DOM! The first for the Irish Guards. Her name is Cpt. Claire Lawrence. She's been around since July. But, she hasn't been seen in Windsor Mounts just yet, only London. The Bandmaster J. Brown has done Windsor. Hopefully we see her in Windsor soon! Fun fact, she used to be the Bandmaster for the Band of the Coldstream Guards.
All I see in the Irish Guards band is double chinned old boys and small girls weres the old Irish Guards that marched like real men and put the windows in with precise tone.
