👍 It got me thinking about a torrified wood pellet fired, FBC steam to gas turbine and parallel steam turbine powered locomotive with generator and electric transmission. A happy thought!
@nokhala100 basically there is scale on the feeder tube (the black PVC pipe). We cut out a long section of PVC and put in clear plexiglass then marked the intervals. We can measure how much material and how fast it is burning , though very crude. Would have been more precise with motor controls.
This has to be one of the coolest looking mad scientist type videos on youtube! But I got here from aquarium fluidised sand bed biofilters. So what the hell is this??!? What is it doing?
Can this process be applied to particle agglomeration? Can anyone help me achieve particle agglomeration for my instant coffee product? It is too powdery. I have a small coffee business and want my instant coffee to have the appearance of occupying more space inside a glass bottle. Please help!
Right when I need some visualization of a fluidized bed combustion process, thanks!!
That quartz tube is fantastic

the best part is the part where they burn down the shop, genius putting that chicken wire on top that clearly stops all the embers

Good job
I would like to see it with this fine desert sand of Sahara or something like that which is mostly unused or can't be used for concrete constructions.
Hello @recreant1976
Can I get more info about your setup or references to articles you followed to make this equipment ?

You there?
Are you feeding air or some fuel below that combustion chamber?
What is the metal thing you have the quartz tube sitting in, and are you injecting a secondary gas into the chamber??
What can we learn here? Was this an Silverster event?
Do all fluidized bed combusts make this much of a mess, or is this just because of its make?
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉🎉
Great video but none of operators are seen wearing any Personal protective equipment (PPE), poor safety measures.
Keep idiots off the jobsite and no ppe is needed . worked bone dry balls swinging for 30 years without a scare to show for it
where can one get a huge quartz tube like that?
alibaba.com
how you feeding the fuel to the combustor in constant mass flow
Hi,
Can you explain to me how you can get take information of reactor, like temperature and drop pressure?
Thank you!

yup, quartz tube
no its plastic
Bonjour,
I send you a video where you can watch an exemple of gazeifier of all materials:
on youtube : ecoteco
Sorry for my english.
