You're like Jimin! Jimin loved this anime, One Piece, that had a character called Zoro. He told his Mom that he wanted to be the best swordsman in the world so he took Kendo for about 7-8 years. Of course the best swordsman part did not pan out but Jimin's martial arts background is the reason for his masterful dance performances nowadays.

Re: your comment about Suga's verse. It's so true that people change and grow, but what's fascinating to me about BTS is we can see this growth through their lyrics. They're such contemplative songwriters, so we can see their inner thoughts. Recently we had the privilege of witnessing Suga's life story as he went on a solo tour (April-August). He performed songs from his three albums (2016, 2020, 2023), rapping about his struggles, his thoughts, his views of the world, and by the last concert, we got to see him complete his story, overcoming his struggles in triumph. That last moment in that last concert was very emotional for ARMY, who knew about his story.
It’s funny because Jimin took up kendo for 7 or 8 years because when he was young, he told his Mom that he wanted to be the best swordsman in the world. He is also a black belt in taekwondo. There are many videos about Jimin’s experience in martial arts.
This is a lovely song but the performance is especially charming with the members enjoying each other and the audience interaction. Just everything about it is very heartwarming.

I have "I'll show you" tattooed on my arm for the exact reason you were talking about. When BTS found me, I had forgotten how to nourish the best me I could. They inspire me every day to do just a little bit better for myself and the world around me. It might be weird/mystifying for non-ARMYs, that a middle-aged American woman cares what seven young men on the other side of the world think, but I want to live in a way that they'd be proud of me. If I were to be face to face with them, I'd want to be able to "show" them. 💜

One of the most comforting songs they gave us and it was written/conceived/produced by our Jungkook who wrote the first draft (all the rappers tend to write their own raps in the songs). It’s comforting in a very authentic way they have. They never offer platitudes and empty sayings they really make you feel seen and offer a hand and something as simple as a virtual cup of tea. The idea that they simply ask us to “so show me/ I’ll show you” love and value ourselves as much as we love and value them is such a beautiful message. The idea came from a book “Into the Magic Shop” by James Doty (Stanford professor and neurosurgeon). At any given time where fans are one of the guys might call out “so show me” and Army will always sing back “I’ll show you”. I hope it brings you comfort as it does us. Army Time is a less formal time to close out each concert, they take time to each talk to us a lot like chatting with friends, they are always dressed down in either tees like this or more commonly the merch tee shirts they sell. The tee shirts they are wearing here are ones each member painted and shows each person’s personality. V and Jimin (called VMin together) are self proclaimed soulmates/best friends, they have a whole song about their friendship, and I love this version for showing how sweet and playful they are. The heart of this song is that if we can believe in BTS we can believe in ourselves. They're saying they'll always be there to witness it when we show them that we can love ourselves. You gave me the best of me, so you'll give you the best of you... I love that line. This song has literally saved lives. If you promise BTS that you'll love yourself, surrounded by other people making the same promise... It can change you. There are other live performances that i think show the song's power better. This one is very cozy and sweet, and i agree it makes the song feel a lot like Zero O'Clock. But it's a stronger statement, really. It's not just offering comfort - it's a challenge as well. I love them so much for this.

To get a tiny taste of what a live is like, because they’ve been known to go hours, and to get to know them better I HIGHLY recommend watching Suchwita Ep 15, and there’s a follow up. It’s Suga’s talk show, lots of drinking can be involved, and this is with JK. He’s actually had everyone but V on, he and RM have sat down twice but one Suga was the guest and RM the host. It’s actually a great show but obviously he’s different with the other members than he is with other guests
Let's not forget the infamous time he fell asleep, snoring included, and their company had to shut down his live... Did I mention he was doing it at like 4am Korean time? MILLIONS of people were just hanging out watching him sleeping and I was one of them, lol. It really helps showcase how much of a bond BTS and ARMY have that they're okay to letting us see the unfiltered and everyone aspects of their lives.
I think you’d really enjoy NamJoon’s mixtape “mono.” He released it for free and didn’t call it a mixtape but a playlist, bc the songs all have a very similar vibe instead of showing a huge range, but it’s one of the most healing albums I’ve ever heard. It’s short overall, about 20 minutes for all the songs, and I really think you’d appreciate it and get a lot out of it, especially if you’ve been going through a hard time yourself.
Speaking from experience, absolutely people, for example, who are suffering from grief from the unexpected loss of a loved one, often have to compartmentalize it - put it away somewhere in their minds, to be able to just live and move on…
BTS Magic Shop performance on stage in Love Yourself 2019 Tour is way better to watch! I like that one better than this one. You can feel the strength of the song in that concert (I think when they performed in Japan, wearing sparkling-black suits)

They wrote it to say BTS and ARMY would just move on together, putting the bad stuff behind and ignoring the haters. 8:15 I'm one of those people. I compartmentalize anything that I can't do anything about at the moment , or if I'm too overwhelmed. I also disassociate (not dissociative identity disorder, I can just escape when I need to) weed makes it easier, but I do it without it as well. I usually use music to aid me, and it's usually BTS lol. I escape to a place where my life & my house isn't falling apart around me, I find hope & inspiration in that place. Like, if I told you all of the serious, sad, and scary shit in my life right now, you'd be like "holy shit how are you so calm" and probably worry about me even though you didn't know me lol. (I've shared a tiny slice of the problems in other comments on your videos, there's too many problems to write right now, plus I'm currently in the process of locking them away again) But I just lock all unpleasantness away into a corner of my mind, imagine closing and locking the door, and I forget about it for a while. Sometimes the intrusive thoughts sneak out of the room, and I'll feel a stab of fear because everything is extremely scary and bad right now, but then I take some deep breaths, regain my composure, and imagine myself donkey kicking the thought and fear right back into the room and lock the door. Sometimes I imagine a broom sweeping the thought and fear , and it again temporarily fades to dust. It's really really hard to do that, at least for me, but you can learn to do it. It's easier , obvs lol, when the problem or stress isn't huge, when it's a terrifying huge clump of problems it's super hard. But I just do it over and over until it stays locked away, and again, weed makes it easier lol. This is another song that is on my slumber playlist 💜

I had to give this video a dislike and I'm not watching it although this may be a good performance it's not the right performance! If people are telling you to react to certain songs they should be telling you which performance to react to the performance John cook starts out saying so show me and the audience answers back I'll show you is the better performance in my opinion! In the other appearance at the end of the song the members of BTS also sink down into the floor of the stage they're gone and the audience is still singing the song better performance!
I'm sure there are quite a lot of people who enjoy or reccommend other performances over this one, however you should consider perhaps someone did reccommend this performance and recommended it for a reason. Just because it is not your preference or one that you would suggest doesn't mean its not someone else's or special to them. Not everyone has the same opinion. Also this performance in itself is amazing and beautiful! and there are plenty of different performances available to be enjoyed. It's ok to suggest another reaction or performance, or suggest that there is another which is more popular, but to say 'its not the right performance!' is not really helpful and can seem quite negative. 'Right' or 'correct' performance is subjective. Aaron could certainly react to another one if he wants to or even just enjoy it on his own - it's his reaction channel and his BTS journey. If you watch the video Aaron clearly enjoyed the performance and song. He also indicates in his comments at the end that he's since watched another performance (he has indicated he doesn't always give his comments straight after the reaction, but may listen to a song further off camera first). Sometimes things dont go the way we might want, but thats no reason to be so negative. He doesn't have to even share these reactions with us at all. Also If you watch and listen to what he has to say it is a very interesting reaction and he has some interesting thoughts to share.

Army Time is a less formal time to close out each concert, they take time to each talk to us a lot like chatting with friends, they are always dressed down in either tees like this or more commonly the merch tee shirts they sell. The tee shirts they are wearing here are ones each member painted and shows each person’s personality. V and Jimin (called VMin together) are self proclaimed soulmates/best friends, they have a whole song about their friendship, and I love this version for showing how sweet and playful they are. This is at the end of a series of concerts “5th Muster: Magic Shop” a very special set of 4 concerts. 💜💜💜

The heart of this song is that if we can believe in BTS we can believe in ourselves. They're saying they'll always be there to witness it when we show them that we can love ourselves.

This song has literally saved lives. If you promise BTS that you'll love yourself, surrounded by other people making the same promise... It can change you.
There are other live performances that i think show the song's power better. This one is very cozy and sweet, and i agree it makes the song feel a lot like Zero O'Clock. But it's a stronger statement, really. It's not just offering comfort - it's a challenge as well.

The magic shop is explicitly stated as “A psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude”. Psychodrama is often used in group therapy workshops in mental hospitals or other mental facilities to help patients gain insight into their own lives.

To get a tiny taste of what a live is like, because they’ve been known to go hours, and to get to know them better I HIGHLY recommend watching Suchwita Ep 15, and there’s a follow up. It’s Suga’s talk show, lots of drinking can be involved, and this is with JK. He’s actually had everyone but V on, he and RM have sat down twice but one Suga was the guest and RM the host. It’s actually a great show but obviously he’s different with the other members than he is with other guests

Let's not forget the infamous time he fell asleep, snoring included, and their company had to shut down his live... Did I mention he was doing it at like 4am Korean time? MILLIONS of people were just hanging out watching him sleeping and I was one of them, lol. It really helps showcase how much of a bond BTS and ARMY have that they're okay to letting us see the unfiltered and everyone aspects of their lives.
I think you’d really enjoy NamJoon’s mixtape “mono.” He released it for free and didn’t call it a mixtape but a playlist, bc the songs all have a very similar vibe instead of showing a huge range, but it’s one of the most healing albums I’ve ever heard. It’s short overall, about 20 minutes for all the songs, and I really think you’d appreciate it and get a lot out of it, especially if you’ve been going through a hard time yourself.
Speaking from experience, absolutely people, for example, who are suffering from grief from the unexpected loss of a loved one, often have to compartmentalize it - put it away somewhere in their minds, to be able to just live and move on…

This song... my heart! 💜Other commenters have said anything else that needed to be said. Love when they write fan songs. 2!3! is another. They wrote it to say BTS and ARMY would just move on together, putting the bad stuff behind and ignoring the haters. Fun seeing how, as a predominately metal musician, you understand and appreciate all the nuances that go into live performing vocals. It is crazy how they do so much singing while doing hard choreo. The youngest (JK) recently even did a live where he was seriously hardcore working out with this ab roller thing while singing American and korean songs. 8:15 I'm one of those people. I compartmentalize anything that I can't do anything about at the moment , or if I'm too overwhelmed. I also disassociate (not dissociative identity disorder, I can just escape when I need to) weed makes it easier, but I do it without it as well. I usually use music to aid me, and it's usually BTS lol. I escape to a place where my life & my house isn't falling apart around me, I find hope & inspiration in that place. Like, if I told you all of the serious, sad, and scary shit in my life right now, you'd be like "holy shit how are you so calm" and probably worry about me even though you didn't know me lol. (I've shared a tiny slice of the problems in other comments on your videos, there's too many problems to write right now, plus I'm currently in the process of locking them away again)
But I just lock all unpleasantness away into a corner of my mind, imagine closing and locking the door, and I forget about it for a while. Sometimes the intrusive thoughts sneak out of the room, and I'll feel a stab of fear because everything is extremely scary and bad right now, but then I take some deep breaths, regain my composure, and imagine myself donkey kicking the thought and fear right back into the room and lock the door. Sometimes I imagine a broom sweeping the thought and fear , and it again temporarily fades to dust. It's really really hard to do that, at least for me, but you can learn to do it. It's easier , obvs lol, when the problem or stress isn't huge, when it's a terrifying huge clump of problems it's super hard. But I just do it over and over until it stays locked away, and again, weed makes it easier lol.

Some background info - “Magic Shop” is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude. BTS asks fans to open their hearts when they are in pain, and tells fans about their own experiences, letting them know that they are not alone - inspired by the book "Into the Magic Shop: a neurosurgeon's quest to discover the mysteries of the brain and the secrets of the heart", by the American clinical professor of neurosurgery Dr James R. Doty. The book is a memoir by Dr Doty, about the lessons he learned from Ruth, a woman he met in a magic shop, one of the lessons or tricks was to open his heart.
Magic Shop was written and produced by Jungkook, who said: I wrote this song for our fans. Since it’s a fan song, it didn’t really feel like working but it’s a song that contains how I feel and how I love our fans. There were some things that RM hyung said during concert. He said “ if it’s you who found us and Acknowledged us, you can do it too” I started this song based on these words. It’s a song that tells, if you are tired and weary from reality, you open the door inside your mind and there will be Magic Shop and inside of it, there will be 7 of us who’ll give that strength for you. I had to give this video a dislike and I'm not watching it although this may be a good performance it's not the right performance!
If people are telling you to react to certain songs they should be telling you which performance to react to the performance John cook starts out saying so show me and the audience answers back I'll show you is the better performance in my opinion! In the other appearance at the end of the song the members of BTS also sink down into the floor of the stage they're gone and the audience is still singing the song better performance!

I'm sure there are quite a lot of people who enjoy or reccommend other performances over this one, however you should consider perhaps someone did reccommend this performance and recommended it for a reason. Just because it is not your preference or one that you would suggest doesn't mean its not someone else's or special to them. Not everyone has the same opinion. Also this performance in itself is amazing and beautiful! and there are plenty of different performances available to be enjoyed.
It's ok to suggest another reaction or performance, or suggest that there is another which is more popular, but to say 'its not the right performance!' is not really helpful and can seem quite negative. 'Right' or 'correct' performance is subjective.
Aaron could certainly react to another one if he wants to or even just enjoy it on his own - it's his reaction channel and his BTS journey. If you watch the video Aaron clearly enjoyed the performance and song. He also indicates in his comments at the end that he's since watched another performance (he has indicated he doesn't always give his comments straight after the reaction, but may listen to a song further off camera first). Sometimes things dont go the way we might want, but thats no reason to be so negative. He doesn't have to even share these reactions with us at all. Also If you watch and listen to what he has to say it is a very interesting reaction and he has some interesting thoughts to share.
