i mean he kinda has a point when ur on skis. of course u don't want to throw it back on the ground or on a trampoline, but on a huge ski jump going very fast theres kinda no point to set with ur chest.
Should the bindings be middle-mounted on pow skis? I have skied park my whole life riding middle mounted bindings, and I just bought a pair of pow-skis which are more rear-mounted, and I dont know if I like it or if it feels weird. Do you guys have any input?
With pow skis, I'd hesitate to go with a center mount, Maren. That shortens up the amount of tip you have in front of you, which could cause them to be more prone to sink in deep snow. If you want your pow skis to feel surfy and effortless in the soft stuff, I'd stick with a mount position further back from center. Hope that helps!
I've been riding in center mount pow-skis for two seasons and it was not very fun experience. Float is worse and on landing on soft snow it tends to flip you over tips.
I want to try But im very scared to break my neck
Bruh I thought u knew what u were talking about until u said throw your head back as far as u can😂

Your body follows your head so if you not getting a lot of air you kinda need to
he said look back as far as you can and he just wants you to spot the landing as best as possible

@@powder7skis Thanks for the answer! Very helpful. I think I’ll stick with the mount that I have then :)

I know this is late but taper and rocker profiles on most pow skis would make center mount a bad choice as well
Do you feel the skiis when you do a backflip? Does heavy skis rotate slower and does lighter skis rotate faster?
... no shit?
Thank for help now i got it :D
