Tatiana started doing harsh vocals because of Otep, actually. She heard Otep Shamaya thinking she was a man. After finding out Otep is a woman, Tatiana wanted to NOT sound like a woman. Looking forward to more Jinjer reactions! “Perennial” live at Wacken, and “Pit of Consciousness” and “On the Top” live in Kiev are all phenomenal.

Aww, that sucks. I love when harsh vocals still sound like the singer, e.g. Slipknot, Otep - Ascension album, Spiritbox, Korn. Otherwise it mostly sounds generic to me.

I just started writing a comment about how your comment isn't so true but thought to check my sources first before I started saying you're wrong. And for the most part what your comment said is what google provides. Howeverrrrr. She was interviewed by The Charismatic Voice reaction channel and she said it was just a friends band playing some shit and she was brought in due to someone dipping out, had no idea about screaming or metal in general at the time, heard it and fell in love, the rest is history as far as her training to become a vocal beeeast. So let's call it somewhere in the middle

Yeah, I've been in that crowd. I've seen them twice now and I can absolutely tell you that they sound just as good, IF NOT BETTER live! The energy is insane! Their set list is always packed. I think they dropped 18-20 songs in the 90 minute set that they played last time they were in Chicago. They have always selected incredible opening acts that they tour with and you get EVERY CENT you paid for! For as loud as they can go, they are super tight live, and the mix of their sound team is on point. If they get in your area... get to that concert. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Great reaction guys, I discovered Jinjer a little over 2 years ago by accident actually, (long story) and the first video/song I heard from them was Perennial live at Wacken Open Air 2019 (I highly recommend this as your next reaction to Jinjer) After I watched that video I said to myself, I don't know what I just saw and heard, but I think I love her LOL 😆😆 and I've been a huge Jinjer fan ever since. Funny thing is I've never been into harsh vocals at all, I'm still not, but Tatiana is something special, and so are Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums), they are just a phenomenal band and they compliment each other perfectly. I was fortunate to see them live in Los Angeles last October, I also got to meet them. The concert was pure 🔥🔥 and they are some of the nicest, most humble and kind human beings who clearly love their fans. I remember when I was talking to them I mentioned how this was the first time I was going to see them live and how excited I was, and Tati told me, "I'm excited too, and nervous" I told her nervous? why? you've been performing for a long time. She told me that no matter how many times she performs, she always gets nervous before a show, you definitely wouldn't know it when she hits that stage. Having seen them live, I can say with 100% certainty, Tati sounds exactly like this, her melodic singing and her growls/screams are just incredible, the guys are incredible as well, they are incredibly tight as a band, and they put on a great show. Jinjer has become one of my all time favorite metal bands, so much so that I have them in my personal favorite top 10 metal bands of all time, and I've been listening to metal for over 40 years. Continue to enjoy your Jinjer journey, keep up the great reactions, and as always, stay Metal you two. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

Kyle-I waited for the wall of death because I could feel it coming. The only jinjer video Ive watched was your first reaction video. After this reaction video.....screw you guys (cartman voice) I'm going all the way down the Jinjer rabbit hole....i hope it leads me to the queen T's holes...all of them...i mean what? Did I type that out loud?
THANK YOU KYLE (also in cartmans voice) for calling out the tiny snippet of a wall of death in this video....i blinked and it was gone so I went back 1800000 more times just to make sure it was real...
I got 3 specific flash backs just from that snippet. Too much to type while I'm metal head fan girling. Shit
*side bar-this song is about me being homeschooled aka cult. If I had the vagballs I do now, 10 year old me would be queen T.*
Shout out to ya homie Joey Bourgeois for getting his friend out. There is nothing worse (or better *insert evil laugh*) than taking care of ANYONE at a metal show and ALSO being surprised by the wall of death.
My very first wall of death was at a festival (cant remember which one). I left everyone I came with because they weren't as hard as I thought they were. Had a fabulous metal head day(insert Sophia story here "picture this, it was 2002 in the heart of...."). I knew the headliner was going to come on soon because at a show when you know, you know. I was 98 pounds of rage but also hungry, dehydrated, sunburnt to fuck all, and super tired. I knew I needed to at least find 3 exit strategies in case shit went down and I wasn't ready. While I was figuring all of this out, Hatebreed came on stage and STARTED their set with the wall of death.
My wall of death experiences are all epic and beautiful and special to me. I mean shit, my first rib breaks (that weren't from abuse) were in mosh pits. Waaaay before I even knew what the wall of death was. AND I LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND BECAUSE I CHOSE TO MOSH KNOWING the consequences.
My grandma (may she rest in power) would get all fussy with me when I came home from shows because I was always disheveled and bloody but happier than a pig in shit.
She finally realized that if I came home from a show with both shoes and no blood....i had a terrible time...

First off Vlad the drummer is a beast. The Pisces version you did was to showcase him when he first joined. (Tatiana is the only original member left, but while that's usually a bad thing, they traded up, very much). Nice thing about them is Eugene(bass) , Roman(guitar), and Vlad are all as great as Tati. In fact they write all the music and then Tati writes the lyrics. If you want live Jinjer, Perennial at Wacken . Great reaction! (Funny you should mention Otep they inspired Tatiana to start growling. Her other big influences are Gwen Stefani and Bob Marley. Go figger)

    Teacher, Teacher!
    Song by Jinjer
"Good evening, kids. Take your seats. Open up your Bibles
I’m gonna chastise a rival so keep your eyes wide open
The young soul lost control, made her first faul
This is my duty to set the bounds
She grabbed my hand, took me in, placed me in front of a class
She gave a hint I was the clou of her mass
I’m in the middle of her Holy of Holies, I have no worries!
I saw dusty icons on the walls
    I saw needles and stones
So she put a paper bag on my head
She pointed finger at me, and then she said:
Dear Lord, forgive me as I’m slapping this sinful child
By your hand I’m led so I will show what is wrong and what is right
Choose your label cuz I’m mercy, merciful
Put your knuckles on the table, meet my friend Ferule
    Who’ll punish you!
When their prejudice let us down
We stand firmly on our ground
Don’t let their school make a fool of you
Because the teachers may be fools too
    Laws chalked on a blackboard
Can’t be erased until it gets boring
The lady spoke and then she choked
On the convictions oh so alluring
She made a pause in her verbal overdose
My paper bag slipped down on the floor
I took a look around, there was no sanctuary
Desks empty, the school was all imaginary
    Teacher, teacher! Self-proclaimed preacher
Under the flag of welfare your lectures start to blare!
We need no soap shoved down our throats
So keep your monologues unrated and remote
I am a bad example of order
This life is not a prison and you are not a warden
Please, teacher teacher! Leave us alone
As we accept life lessons from no one
Your idols scream to me throwing shame on my face
As I turn away from infamy and disgrace
I smile to you, cuz I want you to see
How I break the rules in front of your trinity
    "

If you might like to check out to more Jinjer, I think you’d really enjoy “Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019)” ua-cam.com/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/v-deo.html !
PS And just as a preemptive heads-up: If you might like to pronounce “Wacken” like the locals, one would say “Vah-ken.” (In German, “W” is pronounced like a “V” is in English.) I’m only mentioning that part just since most folks seem to stumble over that one a bit.

I've been waiting for you two to come back with more Jinjer! Seriously, throw a dart at any of their catalog and enjoy! Legit, I've got like 20-22 songs on my playlist of theirs! Don't go a day e/out Jinjer! Seen them live twice, tight AF!! Won't get a bad recommendation, I love their OFFICIAL live version of Cloud Factory! Tati was sick as hell and still just kills it!!

Look uo "Jinjer | 2021 | Live at Hellfest [Full Concert 1080p]". It was a full concert they did for Hellfest, that they didn't have an audience. All live streamed. So it's really interesting and really clean.

“Who’s gonna be the one” live
    “Perennial” live
“Judgement and Punishment” one take vocal
In that order. You won’t be disappointed

6:45 Regarding the crowd. It's interesting to note that this was filmed during the Amorphis + Soilwork co-headliner tour. As you can see from the rather narrow strip of stage, they were "only" one of the opening bands on this tour. At that time they were still quite an insider tip, before they really took off with the reaction scene during the pandemic. And they still riled up the crowd so much that Soilwork after them was downright relaxing.
Source: I was there, at the first concert of the European tour leg, Jan 11 2019.
Also, Elvira, Micheal Myers and... Mr. Bean? Ok, why not, I guess 😁

We have seen them live in a tiny venue in Seattle (El Corazon like 350 people max)coming out of covid in 2021 along with Suicide Silence. They are THAT AMAZING in person and live. If you ever want to see live clips I have some. We 1000% will see them live again. Tatiana is a sexy ball of spitfire and brings that much energy to the crowd.

Just want to confirm that 'Who is gonna be the one', 'Perennial' and 'Pit of consiousness' are all three blistering live performances, real live gigs. You will see and hear the real McCoy (or is it macaw?)........wait I forgot 'Captain Clock': an often overlooked beauty of a live vid that is not to much edited and is full of nice moments and details (she will give you the famous eye). This band is something else, really. Great reaction.
