This is Hemant from Atheist Voice. Thanks for the response video. It's always nice to hear answers from people -- and get people talking about these questions -- even if I disagree with them!
Hemant Mehta Glad you are a more respectful atheist I wish there were more like you. I wish there were more Christians who can talk to atheists and not be angry at them
Glad you're here dude, I have a great respect for intellectual disbelief simply because I've been there - so you'll always get honesty from this guy :)
I am also an atheist. I like hearing different answers. I just wonder as an atheist I don't believe because there isn't any evidence. Well without anything. They believe and it's not that they do its what they have been pushed into their minds. I ha e a daughter. And I am gonna let her find her own way. Because if I push atheism on her. That is no better than Christians pushing it on their children.I am sure with the way I am. She will ask me one day. Or say dad doesn't believe and why? Let me look into this deeper. I just can't stand that we can't answer that...there for god. Ya know. That isn't rational thinking at all. Also that isn't an answer and makes me believe that one is further brainwashed. I did the Christian thing for about 36 years. Once I got sober and clear headed did I start to figure out the truth and asking questions. Search and finding my own answers out. Not listen to what people were feeding me. I was really hoping I would have found out the other way. I was even LeaNing that way. I just could no longer believe it. The non evidence is overwhelming. The contradictions and the story's in the bible. Blatantly screaming how can you believe this. So I could no longer do it.
I am an atheist but I really appreciate your responses to these questions. And thank you for giving Christians a good and honest voice! Your understanding and acceptance of others is refreshing.
Appreciate the words Samantha, Exactly what you said is the reason I even waste my time doing this. Too many complainers and haters in the world. Time to chill and hangout.
78 good, honest, and sometimes thought provoking answers. Being an atheist with a capital 'A' it warms my heart to hear you say "I don't know" to some questions rather than the usual "God moves in mysterious ways" get out jail card. Much respect.
He actually does pull out the "God works in mysterious ways" arguments alot in the first couple of answers. But glad he is humble enough. Still disagree tho.
Well, as for the ANN FRANK IN HELL question, it would DEPEND on WHAT KIND of Christian you asked. SOME would certainly tell you she's burning in Hell - like an IFB (Independent Fundamentalist Baptist) for example OTHERS, like specifically those of the ZIONIST variety, on the other hand, would say "She was one of God's CHOSEN PEOPLE so therefore SHE got to go to Heaven WITHOUT accepting Jesus. It's only GENTILES (non-Jewish) people who have to accept Jesus. Hell, Jesus himself was a Jew!".
Whoa, there are protestants who believe Jews go to heaven automatically? I have never heard of that one before. Interesting! Where in the bible do they get that understanding?
But if you’re an atheist, don’t you not believe in God? If you don’t believe in God, doesn’t that mean that you don’t believe in Heaven or Hell either?
I like this dude I have big respect for these kinds of christian that doesn't shove their beliefs to anybody and doesn't threat people that they will go to hell not like crazy christians out there
Emotions are just place holders to summarize vast groups of knowledge. Like Pi. Or squeezing a picture into a word. It's the quickest reaction possible when faced with nearly infinite knowledge. I'd go into it more by explaining the golden ratio, quantum physics and wavelengths, the chromatic system, etc but I'll just let confusion summarize how daunting that would be. Just know the truth is objective, it exists through us all. It's just so vast... If you truly grasped it, you might as well be the soil the flower grows from.
Landon Hoffman there is emotions, the bible says we will rejoice Romans 8:8 “the pain you’re feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming” we will be joyful in heaven and i think what he is trying to say is “emotions” such as happy then sad then mad, that won’t exist, as we will just be rejoicing. in my words i’d put it as “no negative emotions” if that makes more sense :)
you lost me at 1:07 You believe there is a God and that Heaven and Hell exists. You believe these exist even though I do not believe they exist. This means that when I die, if you are right, I will go to either Heaven or Hell. My lack of belief according to your own scripture does not protect me from the punishment or praise given by God when you die. So the question "Do you believe a Kind Hearted Atheist will go to hell?" is an extremely on-point question to determine the (lack) of morality your God shows.
templargfx it doesn't matter what Christians believe, god is the only one that qualifies to that question and can answer it himself. We cannot place our opinions and relate it as god's sceptical. In different circumstances god may or may not send an atheist to heaven or hell. Our point of view is at fault compared to god's.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If you don't believe in Jesus, you wont be saved. All are sinners. But how about you ask this, "Does a kind hearted person need to go to hell?" No, if they'd only believe... Yet they send themselves there by not believing. Glory to God, not me.
"If youre an Atheist why would you want to go to heaven anyway?" That was a bad response, almost 99% of Atheist are agnostic Atheist, and if they saw God, trust me theyd believe. It'd be proof.
But there is a difference between believing and worshipping a god. And I tell you if the Christian God would be real (although this is so unlikely even less unlikely then winning the lottery) I wouldn't worship him because my morals forbid me to worship such a monster.
Well put together video mate. I think somebody else already commented like this. I am an atheist so clearly I don't agree, but it's nice to see a calm response to an atheist that doesn't involve Hell threats. Thanks for the video, keep up the great work
Thanks for your words man, I think the "war" between atheism and Christianity is misguided at best. I'm not in the business of shoving bibles down throats, hope to see you around more :)
In the "Does a kindhearted athiest go to hell?" Question, I'm really disapointed that you dodged it. The question was obviously hypothetical, assuming the existance of hell. The question is not about reality but about christianity.
hell doesnt exist , there is no forever hell , if you didnt understand that jesus is a god , you will be burnt , like there is some period of like few minutes when you will burning and be destroyed , I doesnt want to explain details , its such a waist of time , read the bible
In response In Christianity the ONLY unforgivable sin is the rejection of gods love, grace and his sons (Jesus) sacrifice that’s why someone who identifies as an atheist is going to hell (that’s the hard truth) but all they have to do to be saved is to REPENT and BELIEVE (not through good deeds Ephesians 2:8-9) Please I’m open to any questions
sir, the question where he said "should a kind-hearted atheist be forced to burn in hell" i think you misinterpreted. Im pretty sure he means that if he died an atheist and it turns out that there IS a god on the otherside, should the individual burn forever in hell even though he lived a morally good life?, he didn't steal, murder, or did anything to affect another persons life.
they actually do have to worry...because we have all fallen short in God's grace..no one is perfect and all sin..the only way to the Father is through Christ..he died for our sins and taken our fall..all you gotta do is accept Him and repent and you're saved..thats why Christians try their best to put God's word out there
the thing is, why do we have to worry? there's no hardcore evidence that there is a God, and there's no hardcore evidence that the stories in the bible ever happened. What about the people that live crappy lives with the only thought of "don't worry, God and Jesus will give me a good afterlife" when you don't even know if there is an afterlife. when you can take the short life that you do have and live to the fullest or fix it from being crappy to being comfortable and happy rather than live in complete fear of a being that you cant prove exists yet. you don't need a book to tell you whats right and wrong, its inherently in us. as social animals no one wants to be murdered, no one wants to be raped, no one wants to have things stolen from them, you don't need a book to say that. why do you think people help each other? you can say atheists have no morals, but what if an atheist saved you from drowning or from a burning building or donating money to help you pay for surgery that you desperately needed and you didn't know they were atheists? I sure as hell wanted to help the people from the hurricanes or from the Vegas massacre, not in useless prayers or donations where most of the money goes in the CEO's pockets but physically go out there and help, but i'm 18 i cant do that yet and honestly hurts when cant do that. and i'm an atheist, i may not give a damn about people because the human race is garbage but i will give a damn if something tragic happens to fellow humans whether they were Christian or not. I would physically go out and help people when there's religious affiliations doing nothing but give you useless prayer from New York hoping that "all powerful" being does something about it but in the end i would go hell because im atheist, when there's criminals that have done nothing but harm to others and they'll go to heaven for uttering the words "i accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior" before getting the needle in their arm. that sure is on fucked up judicial system your all loving God has by sending a helpful non believer, or a gay person to hell but an empty "repenter" whose done nothing but harm others to heaven :/
Ashley Cantrell just dont worry about them, unless the hurting you and your family. Also Dont be so angry for lack of evidence because it a believe, it give them meaning just like your believe do. And i never said anything about whatever your trying to debunk, i just said " dont worry about it" yet u worte a essay trying to argue what 1 statements. Lol. Im maybe not a Christian but i know there a god, i mean just look around someone or something created a complex world with complex people to know how complex thing are. If your a person who believe in evidence and evidence itself u much be reasonable as well. Meaning deep down u know it well
Ashley Cantrell First of all not all Christians believe that lost people are going to burn eternally second no one is good according to the Bible everyone has sinned. Some of us are clearly worse than others but none of us can claim to be perfect therefore we all are deserving of the judgement of God.
"78 questions for christians (answered)" First answer he gives is "I don't know." K. Edit: Most answers were just "I don't know".... Pal, that's the point.
Well I don't believe in Hell. So if somebody asked me I'd say "No, she isn't. Nobody is." My point was that he is going through and "answering" these questions, but couldn't answer most of them. These being questions critical of Faith in god, and lacking answers should cause someone to question that faith.
EdgeOf1996 Because we're Christians we should know everything.?? God isnt obligated to provide an answer for every issue There are things beyond our understanding and things within our mental interpretation of the bible Hence different denominations Also.. Y'all shalt not queation the Lord In the sense that he will open up to answers he is meant for u to see He is alrighty and all knowing who r we to question his eternal plan and believe we know best beyond his goal for humanity Therefore saying One cannot give an answer for everything That is y we need Faith
+Derv "Because we're Christians we should know everything.??" No, but the video is titled "78 questions for christians (answered)" and he didn't answer them. Do a little critical thinking on that next time. "God isnt obligated to provide an answer for every issue There are things beyond our understanding and things within our mental interpretation of the bible" Coming from a god that nobody can speak to, that is a convenient answer to give when you don't have one. "Hence different denominations" An all knowing and all powerful god should not have multiple ways to interpret his message if it is so important. "Also.. Y'all shalt not queation the Lord" And I tell you "look for the ones you are not allowed to question, and you shall know who not to trust." "He is alrighty and all knowing who r we to question his eternal plan and believe we know best beyond his goal for humanity" Easy. Because the only thing giving you any proof that that is the case is an ancient book and a bunch dead theologians from thousands of years ago. "Therefore saying One cannot give an answer for everything That is y we need Faith" When are Christians going to stop using this? It's paper thin. An all powerful god who bases his followers in faith is not a god with enough evidence to justify his existence... as if you had enough evidence, you wouldn't need faith.
EdgeOf1996 U are atheistic, right? Are u one of those who state that u need just one bit of evidence to convert? If not.. What would? Are u completely aside from the argument of God? Did u once believe then not anymore? Sorry if i am prying into your life.. If u dnt want to answer all Thats fine too. Anyways.. At some time i had problems in believing and currently am waiting on something. What did tho enlighten me was right before. I ddnt want to b baptised just because he it wat i brought up under,i wanted answers for myself and a reason for myself. Am still not baptized but i accept God as Lord and savior. I see God come out in the church. As u might hav heard "people getting into spirit" or "people talking in tongues" This is what opened my eyes again caz i was struggling and felt it wrong to b doubting him. Dont u feel wrong in total diamissing God? U dnt fear what mught happen to u after death? If there was the possiblity of hell.. Are u ok with burning forever? Seeing people being overhwelmed by God is something u might or may have not experienced. I am from jamaica and i experienced this like every Sunday. It's not fake. U talk to people after. U sit with them every Sunday. I sit with them evry Sunday. Do u get up and go in a room and plan how to be filled by God? No. It is real. I have seen them cast demons out of people it's not fake. While in America i havnt seen much of what i have seen there. America is a very sinful place but i keep my eyes open for certain things here. Here's y i did ask some of rhe questions previously I do urge u to look out fr the signs of God. Little things and big things. Alot of u look out for a spontaneous waw to take place that even if it occurs u would find someway to dismiss it so b somewhat open mided to finding God. I kno atheist who hav tried praying. My beliefs of praying is like someone asking a parent for something. U arnt garanteed to get it but by u begging and your friend begging it might just change their mind. But at times u might ask ur parent for something outrageous or wrong If it isnt within their wishes for ur life to go that way u cant merely get it caz u asked.. God granting a request like that could divert u frm his original plan so u dnt always get what u ask for I prefer to ask God to do what he thinks is best in my life i ask that u do pray Pray continuously to ask for guidance to open your eyes to God's ways if that is something u are interested in ..if Christianity is answers u are actually looking fr Another thing is the design.. Of everything I want to b an architect And as i sit in biology class And i listen to all these things It becomes straight out crazy Everything has its function As as little as this sounds It plays an important part in life It's crazy There's an architect for this life Ur brain has different parts Fr different things Your skin has different layers Plants make their food Animals eat plants We eat animals We die Fertilize the earth and the cycle of life is evident What did spark me was the appendix though Scientist dont kno what it is for But why should it have a purpose? Because everything has a purpose. The oceans and the land is crawling with new things to be discovered and it's amazing each with their own purpose. Just like a bathroom in a house. It's a beautiful world we live in darkened by sin. Can u atleast agree though that sin is bad and rules such as the ten commandments are within moral implications? The world is a bad place. And sorry for all this writing. I ddnt know what to say but then i felt the need to reply share my views. If u did read, thanks for reading.
+Derv Yes I'm an Atheist "Are u one of those who state that u need just one bit of evidence to convert? If not.. What would?" Ok, here's the short answer... It's nt about "one piece of evidence to change everything" it's the entire concept of the christian god. It makes no sense, he's an all powerful being... who was bested by one of his angels. Who loves all of his creation... but couldn't keep a pointless tree out the garden. How knows the future and cannot do wrong..... but he flood the earth and then felt regret about it. His nature as described in the bible, and his actions also described in the bible do not mesh. At best god is a hypocrite... at worst he is malevolent. Or the alternative, these are all just stories used by primitive people to get gifts and loyalty... and god in fact doesn't exist. "Did u once believe then not anymore?" I was. 19 years. I lived with the bible and Christians all around me. My dad went to seminar even. But ultimately there were too many problems like those I just listed to ignore. "I ddnt want to b baptised just because he it wat i brought up under,i wanted answers for myself and a reason for myself." I was baptized, what a crazy concept that just dunking my head under water did nothing in the grand scheme of my life. (truthfully, I write long comments but there is a lot of material here. I'm going to have to skim most of this.) "And sorry for all this writing. I ddnt know what to say but then i felt the need to reply share my views. If u did read, thanks for reading." I read it, I'm only responding to some of it. "I prefer to ask God to do what he thinks is best in my life" If you have heard go speak then you should describe it in detail... lest it simply be what you wanted to hear only masquerading as god based off of culturally reinforced notions of god. "Pray continuously to ask for guidance to open your eyes to God's ways if that is something u are interested in ..if Christianity is answers u are actually looking fr" No it isn't. I hate to be the one to break this to you but you have an equal success rate getting prayers answered by praying to nothing as you do praying to god. An example, my pastor once told me god helped him find his keys in the morning... then a woman told me she was praying for her cancer to be cured. The pastor made it to church and shared that message... the woman died, then the pastor said it was god's way of taking her home........... I am not convinced in the slightest.
I was a Christian when I first watched this, I'm now an athiest. I like some of your answers, but many of them are weak because they are based on either speculation, or just ignorance(meaning you just don't know). Many of these are tough question, and I applaud you for giving your best answer.
@@grapeboi9256 Saying I don’t know isn’t avoiding the question. When he’s asked about non-Christians going to hell, and his reply is “why would they want to get into heaven anyway?”. That’s avoiding the question.
I can't believe you pulled the whole "We'd show you evidence, but you wouldn't believe it anyway." card. That is a cop-out to a degree that I can't even remotely comprehend.
@@thecraplordsell4575 because you and me both know that this happens. For examples Christian can show an atheists a video of a ghosts in attempt of proving the existence of supernatural activities. Most atheists if not all will jus write that off. Now I'm not saying people should not attempt to show evidence jus because of this. I'm jus saying that this happens
Dbeaver0420 well their are kinda evidence of ghosts. So anyone can easily believe it due to these videos recording we saw. But we’re talking about religious gods being real and no one have no proof of it besides using their holy book as one or life. There’s no videos recordings of gods existence.
You avoided way too many questions. Like the one about Saudi Arabia. Like if I had the same mindset there then here then yes I probably would most likely be an atheist still.
It's easy to answer the question: of course the likelihood of anyone growing up in Saudi Arabia, or another nation with a dominating religion present, will conform to that religion. Now does this mean Christianity is false? No. There are muslims in the thousands having dreams of Jesus or bible and turning to Jesus afterward today. You say "Ah, dreams? Who cares! It's all in their minds" which could be true for a certain amount, yet others are claiming to dream of bible verses and they've never even seen a bible before. There are many ex-muslim convert videos online if you search. Here's one of my favorites, from Afshin Javid, an Iranian ex-muslim. He shows genuine emotion, and is one of those who says that Jesus spoke to Him saying something that is only found in the bible, and at that point Afshin never read the bible. *Iranian Muslim Meets Jesus and Many Other Iranians Come to Jesus - Afshin Javid* ua-cam.com/video/ClqE0ga38dg/v-deo.html&lc=z124jrtjrqmmj10ni23nzn2rztf5gbaf1.1544005468940661 Jesus, the true God of all, is appearing before many people in other countries today where Christians cannot reach them due to other violent religions hating on Christians (like extremist Islam). Many people have become Christians without being raised Christian to begin with.

Evolution is promulgated as an ideology, a secular religion, a full-fledged alternative to Christianity, with meaning and morality. We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door."_ - *Richard Lewontin* (atheist)
RAPTURO to YESHUA and many people (myself included) were raised Christian and then read the Bible only to go atheist after. Plus the same has happened to Christians becoming Muslim. www.newsweek.com/i-am-white-western-womani-converted-christianity-islam-1515893. So yeah.
Atheist: Why doesn’t god take away cancer or Ebola? Christians: God doesn’t interfere with the world anymore. Atheist: So why do you pray to him! Christian:............. I’m an atheist now (I know you’re saying you don’t think prayer does anything but this is for people who thinks it does)
@@jaxeastral6827 but see, it never said why god put the tree in front of Adam and Eve, you guys only say "its because he wanted to give us a choice" when thats only an inference you guys make. And also, if we have free will, then why does everything go only according to gods plan? What about our plan?
Honda S2000 Hello! So to answer you, not everything goes according to God’s plan! We have free will and that can interfere or not in God’s plan for us. Also, God’s plan for us is the best plan for each one of us! So you shouldn’t worry about “your plan” since the plan that God has for you suits you the best ;) Hope that was a good answer if you have more questions i will try to answer them for you!
You see the thing is, there is no pro-Christian answer that one can give that will please an Atheist. You're not looking for answers, you're looking for defeat.
I am an atheist and you are the first theist channel I have subscribed to. You are a genuinely honest Christian and aren’t afraid to say that you don’t know something, which a lot of theists seem to be.
These are really touching, sincere answers - and I'm just a fence-sitter here. You come off a lot more fair, humble and open to dialogue than the guy whose questions you answered. Much respect for the way way your worldview compels you to respond to someone who seems to seek to resolve important philosophical conundrums with petty 'gotcha' questions. It speaks to your integrity, if nothing else. A little sad to see so many dislikes from people who apparently just want to hear you agree with their own conclusions. I don't hear any dodging or inconsistency here, even though I'm not convinced of Christianity, and yet what some people have taken from this is disheartening. Reminds me of my early days as an atheist, when I projected an image onto all religious people based more on my own insecurities than anything they said or did. See so many young people doing the same thing. Whatever the truth of the world is, I hope that people who apparently only believe in humanity will start doing a better job of listening to their fellow humans when it most crucially matters - when we disagree.
I'm 13 years old an an Atheist. I didn't feel comfortable say "one nation under god" sense I don't believe in him so I refused to say the pledge. And heck, I even kind of thought that the whole pledge was complete bullshit sense nothing it states ever happens. Do you think I did the right thing according to my beliefs?
No he is not. His so called “holy bible” orders a completely different way of worshiping god and the power of prayer (that he dismisses so easily in many parts of this video) plays an integral part in a christian’s relationship with god. He’s full of shit.
Dude, I really appreciate this response video. Most of the things I've watched when a religious person responds to things like this are SUPER CRITICAL. You actually nailed the point pretty much every time, and that's the try of conversation that needs to happen to create a better society. Literally the first Christian response video I've been able to sit all the way through. *kudos!*
Appreciate it Keith, I was an atheist for most of my life so I get how annoying much of Christianity can be -therefor I refuse to be like that. I just did another response to this man's videos and I have a whole playlist that will be dedicated to atheist response videos :) . Take care brother!
First response I've gotten on YouTub!. I follow Hemant myself, and I think I'm gonna add you to the list. Again, thanks for not being that pushy Christian I tend to see in most of these response videos. You take care as well!
Thank you, I really wanted a response to that video to see a bit more about the theist world, personally I am an atheist and I want to try to be open-minded. My reason for being atheist is that I like good proof and evidence and religion does not fit that in my mind. I have a few other comments about this video, but I will keep them to myself to reduce the shenanigans. Anyways, thank you for this non-in-your-face video on this subject.
If you wanted proof I would suggest looking at all the scientific discoveries the Bible made first. For example, in Job the idea of a free floating Earth, widely contradicted by mythologies, appears. Also, the Bible was one of the first sources to suggest that the Earth was round, not flat. If you want to know more look at. There's so much more if you go to this link. www.eternal-productions.org/101science.html
Well gues what, it is proven that gay is genetics. Animalls like peguins can be gay. And they are born that way. Comparing becoming gay with becoming a drugadict is pretty dumb. Other then that part i respect your opinion
Didn't agree with everything but it's nice to see opposing views:). I will say you have way more of an open mind than a lot of religious people I talk too.
I'm an atheist and although I disagree with your views it's good to see people with different views that can have a friendly debate instead of an argument
9:59 Homosexuality and drug addiction are completely different and comparing them shows that you never put any effort into understanding homosexuality. Homesxuality is something you cant control you are born with it. Do you think people would voluntarily become gay even though the it feels like the whole world is against them. (there are even cases of people killing themselves because they are not accepted). Drug addiction is something that can be controlled by you if you choose to take drugs its your fault and you're the only one who can stop that so dont compare them please...
@@waifu_png_pl6854 and I would hope you wouldn’t want to change being Bi. I know a Gay believer that self loathes but would not directly admit it. He thinks him being straight would be better because it says so in the bible, it’s upsetting tbh
As an atheist who is part of several debate groups where theist and atheist go at it pretty good, I have to admit that you are the FIRST theist that I've encountered that actually gives direct answers to direct questions. I think that your thoughts on prayer are in contradiction with what the Bible actually says though, which is yet ANOTHER reason why religion/Christianity/God, is a lot of makeup BS. Because you're right, he definitely doesn't answer prayer, although the Bible claims differently.
Not sure why this has so many downvotes, I thought you provided your honest answers and kept everything civil between yourself and Mehta - kudos to both of you.
Here's my question for you: 1. When did the Christian God started caring about Humans during evolution? 2. Why did God conceal himself so adequately? 3. What if God is actually evil trying to manipulate people? 4. Is the Earth the only place where Gods exist? 5. Why do God only care for a single animal species? 6. Why do God crave for worship? 7. If God really created everything and knows everything, doesn't that mean everything is his fault? 8. Why is God a male? Is there a female Goddess somewhere he needs to impregnate? 9. Did he use his God penis to impregnate Mary? 10. Are the Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Bahá'í, Taoisms, Kemetisms, Wicca, Pagans, etc, all wrong because Christianity is the right religion? 11. Why did God created the forbidden fruit in the first place? 12. What if an advanced civilization found Earth and pretended to be the Christian God, would you easily fall for their trick? 13. Is killing, stealing okay before the ten commandments?
Marvin K. I don't know all the answers, but I will try my best God willing. 1- Not sure, perhaps when HE gave us free will. 2- Perhaps to let people have faith. If HE were to show HIMSELF and say "I am God believe in me or go to hell" then people would be greatly influenced to believe and not sin. That would be forcing in a way, which God doesn't want. That is why HE gave us free will, and why HE didn't create us as robots. 3- If HE was evil, then HE'd have made a hell 1000 times worse and made our pain senses 1000 times worse and just put us there forever. Which obviously isn't the case. 4- God is literally everywhere. HIS ability to know where everything is and see everything is infinite. HE is not limited by eyes like we are. 5- We are made in God's image. We have free will, to sin or not to sin. Although I'm not exactly sure, you can ask HIM yourself if you believe in HIS Son Jesus Christ. 6- Not exactly sure, but HE is God. Why *shouldn't* we worship HIM? 7- Not necessarily, because all God did was give us free will, and we chose sin. 8- God is neither male nor female. Although we refer to God as male, I don't actually believe HE is either. 9- No. The Holy Spirit impregnated her, not using a sexual organ. She is a virgin. The Holy Spirit could have easily just teleported Jesus into her womb... 10- Yes they are all wrong. Does any religion have complicated prophesies like revelation 12:1 being fulfilled? 11- That is a harder question to answer. You'd have to ask God if you wanted to know. But perhaps HE wanted to one day reward the people who love HIM and have chosen to accept HIS Son Jesus. As a loving Father gives their children so much, how much more will God who created all things give us? :) (Matthew 7:11) 12- Nope. 13- I never thought of that actually, and I don't know. But perhaps there was an unwritten law, that people had to remember. Maybe parents told it to their children, and those children to their children? Maybe they asked themselves "Is this evil?" Very interesting question! I am not sure though. Looking forward to your response :) *Glory to God, not me.*
Thank you for your answers. Here are my responses. *1- Not sure, perhaps when HE gave us free will.* - But that's just speculation though and can apply to anything. Replace He with anything and it can still work, but doesn't mean it's true. For example "Not sure, perhaps when VISHNU gave us free will." *2- Perhaps to let people have faith. If HE were to show HIMSELF and say "I am God believe in me or go to hell" then people would be greatly influenced to believe and not sin. That would be forcing in a way, which God doesn't want. That is why HE gave us free will, and why HE didn't create us as robots.* - Same principle applies here. He can be anything and just speculative. It's the same as saying "Perhaps the aliens left us here." but doesn't mean it's true. *3- If HE was evil, then HE'd have made a hell 1000 times worse and made our pain senses 1000 times worse and just put us there forever. Which obviously isn't the case.* - Just creating humans and the forbidden fruit alone made him evil. Knowing full well what will happen. If HE is real though which I doubt. *4- God is literally everywhere. HIS ability to know where everything is and see everything is infinite. HE is not limited by eyes like we are.* - But that's just speculation again. You can say that to the millions of Gods humans have created. The Fairy God Mother is everywhere and will only be seen by Cinderella-type of people. *5- We are made in God's image. We have free will, to sin or not to sin. Although I'm not exactly sure, you can ask HIM yourself if you believe in HIS Son Jesus Christ.* - That's according to the man-made book. There are billions of stars outside of our galaxy. Surely there's more life out there. We cannot be so ignorant that we're special because we're humans. *6- Not exactly sure, but HE is God. Why shouldn't we worship HIM?* - My question is why he crave it. Something that can create doesn't automatically deserved to be worshiped. An abusive parent doesn't deserve their children's respect. Same should apply to any deity or any celestial dictator for that matter. *7- Not necessarily, because all God did was give us free will, and we chose sin.* - So it's not the parent's responsibility if their children get ran over by a speeding car for not looking after them? It's the same principle. God knew exactly what would happen according to his all-wise, all-knowing description. *8- God is neither male nor female. Although we refer to God as male, I don't actually believe HE is either.* - So Jesus is not a male either? *9- No. The Holy Spirit impregnated her, not using a sexual organ. She is a virgin. The Holy Spirit could have easily just teleported Jesus into her womb...* - How come this didn't happen when we have the technology to test DNA? Because if any woman claimed to have been impregnated by God today, we can basically do a DNA test to find the father. It conveniently happened in the primitive era. *10- Yes they are all wrong. Does any religion have complicated prophesies like revelation 12:1 being fulfilled?* - That's called a self-proclamation. "I am true because I said it is true." The bible is full of contradictions and it's not all true. Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. *11- That is a harder question to answer. You'd have to ask God if you wanted to know. But perhaps HE wanted to one day reward the people who love HIM and have chosen to accept HIS Son Jesus. As a loving Father gives their children so much, how much more will God who created all things give us? :) (Matthew **7:11**)* - To love him out of fear? Because he basically blackmailed everyone with only two option. Love him or burn eternally in hell. *12- Nope.* - How did he do it then? Why did Jesus have to be born on a specific primate? *13- I never thought of that actually, and I don't know. But perhaps there was an unwritten law, that people had to remember. Maybe parents told it to their children, and those children to their children? Maybe they asked themselves "Is this evil?" Very interesting question! I am not sure though.* - Because the bible is not the basis of our morals. Humans have created morality through generations of rational arguments, reason and compassion. Not all gods or one god.
Trust in Christ. God: "Listen Adam, you have free will, but you damn sure better 'free will' what I tell you to 'free will' or you will burn in hell for eternity"
I'm an a Christian,( agnostic if we need to put a label)and just watched that video on the atheist voice. And I really love how honest u are in your answers rather than just giving a typical Christian answer that has no sincerity or realness behind it. I also love how u view prayer and how God does what he does no matter what. And I love how u admit "I dont know" to some questions. Good video lol
It's 2022 and this is still among the very few honest responses to atheist questions. Congrats on that. The hell stuff is still creepy and makes you a worse person though. "If god told you to kill me would you do it?" "No" That so many christians and other religious people stumble over this question is disturbing and its wonderful to hear you respond in a sane and clear manner. The lack of honesty is still palpable when it comes to the actual supernatural claims sadly.
You know im an athiest myself, but I still respect you a lot. Most people usually go out and start ranting at us athiests and start condemning us to hell and just insult us. But not you, and for that you earn my respect. I dont understand why we cant just have a good debate instead of a religous war.
I’m an atheist but I really appreciate your answers to Hemant's questions for Christians. I disagree on some but most of them I can relate to on things.
Appreciate the open mindedness, truly. I've done more of these, there's a playlist on my page, planning another one soon and always open to video suggestions to respond to :)
There is a Difference between someone who does not believe and someone who is an Atheist. A non believer does not believe in god while an atheist knows that your god can't exist.(doesn't mean there is not a god)
380 plus dislikes? We may not all share the same views, but come on, this guy just gave some honest answers and never hesitated to say, "I don't know" because ultimately, it all boils down to that exact statement. "We don't know".
Hah, thanks for understanding the point rather than bitching and moaning about the fact that I'm not the brainwashed Christian they wish I was. Respect your worldview, thanks for being here :)
realplatypusman i don’t think he should be criticised for saying he doesn’t know, because he is being honest and all christians don’t suddenly know as much as god, but he did great :)
Merit Coba it’s not necessarily depending upon him. He just basically gave me a wake up call after hearing him answering those questions. Please don’t attack me because of this. I just want to believe what I choose to believe.
These are the videos that I thrive for. I do appreciate you talking about the subject and not just speaking for all Christians and not putting them all in one group. Because once again it is one FAITH or RELATIONSHIP not a religion and many different opinions and people in the FAITH
Q. What would it take to change your mind about gods existence? A. Provide me with a different world view that makes more sense The Very next question Do you think it's a little strange when someone says their gonna believe in something no matter what even when all the evidence points in the other direction. (or why believe in the world view that makes less sense) A. I do think that's strange and its something that kinda frustrates me. World view that makes more sense - Atheism, why? because all the evidence points in that direction.
What is evidence? What evidence do you have that makes the idea of a creator not possible? What evidence do you have to prove that there are things that are right, or moral, and that there are things that are wrong, or immoral? If you could point me in the direction of a peer reviewed study proving morality exists than I would happily consider returning to being the atheist I was for 18 years.
I say all evidence points to atheism not because there is evidence that there is no god but there's no evidence that there is one. while I can't point out a peer reviewed study proving morality exists I think morality can be explained but even if we had no clue jumping straight to a belief in God isn't going to help. I don't have an argument against every theist claim all I have is my view of the world and god doesn't fit. I find it difficult to believe that an all powerful being created everything to have some tiny creations on a planet taking up an unimaginably small section of the universe who are practically indistinguishable from the other life on that planet worship him and be judged by him and then sent to either eternal pleasure or eternal torture on the sole criteria of whether or not you believe in his existence on absolutely no evidence and some questionable claims from various books written at various times and interpreted in thousands of different ways which then cause his creations to kill each other. You just have to look at the humanity to realise it wasn't created by a perfect being. Belief in God frustrates me because you have you go against everything to maintain your belief, you say if morality is proven to exist you'd consider returning to be an atheist but atheism is the neutral stance you should be an atheist until proven otherwise.
If you’re speaking logically neither theism or atheism makes any sense. If god is real where did he come from? But if he is not real where did we come from? Where did the Big Bang come from? Neither one makes sense, but to me it all comes down to what makes less sense- which is atheism. I believe that God makes more sense than no God.
Tattooed Theist what is evidence? What you can observe. No reason for the creator to exist. Just one that judges morally. Morals are our human instinct. I think of it as energy from a hindu perspective. Your conscious negative energy and positive energy add to karma. When you are not brainwashed or lead by religion when you are very young, you still have morality. Your human instinct.
It is so strange hearing an honest Christian on UA-cam. Keep making videos dude. I'm an atheist but I always try to gain an understanding of what theists believe but some UA-cam theists don't seem reciprocate the same desire to understand Atheists. I feel that theists like Ray Comfort and Ken Ham are either dishonest with their understanding or lack the comprehension of other people's perspectives.
Does Sarah know that literally everything is forbidden in the Mosaic Law to which you are condemning me of? :) Take a Covenant Theology course and come back, God Bless!
Tattooed Theist Even if that's the case why do you have tattoos? Don't they feel uncomfortable? That's why god doesn't approve of tattoos, because it ruins the skin that he gave you.
Candy Ladder I'm pretty sure that if tattoos that are done correctly felt uncomfortable, millions of people wouldn't be getting them put on their skin permanently.
God never condemns tattoos, he condemns the Jewish people from practicing what the Pagans practiced. #Hermeneuticsmatter. Also I got most of my tattoos in prison, so my tattoos are the least of my worries. God bless.
Hey Buddy! Just wanted to throw some positivity your way and say God bless you! And I'm so happy to see atheists in the comments also responding with positivity. I agree with a lot of what you said and think you are representing God well on earth.
I am Atheist and agree with everything you just said. May I also ask that you look on Wikepedia at the list of fallacies and get to understand them all. If you can recognise them then your debates should be filled with more reason in this channel. And, this is a question for you and I'm not being disrespectful, but the Bible states tattoos are wrong, so why do you think many christians still get them? Namely this man. Again, no disrespect, but I'd like to know your viewpoint.
The prohibition against tattoos is in Leviticus, which were laws intended for the Jewish people that had their purpose fulfilled in the atonement of Jesus. It's a bit of a complicated area of hermeneutics... Are you familiar with this idea?
If a god creates a whole race of people just to fufill one purpose and then discards them afterwards, how is he different from a child tired of playing with the same old toys.(different speaker), we are not familiar with hermeneutics
Well... The Lord does not tire, so that would be a pretty big distinction. Ultimately though I think given that the people in question were basically the murderers of God I wouldn't say that it was God who discarded them. Hermeneutics is basically all the scholarly work behind understanding scripture. The Bible Project is a good place to see some of it in action.
Thank you for making this video. I wouldn't call myself a Christian but I do believe in God. I've been bullied in school for liking God, some atheists can be cruel. :(
wow this is a very interesting video. I respect you tattooed theist you are very smart and logical. As a skeptic/atheist you’re a very logical Christian.
I've been doing instagram longer, and I have had the opportunity to see a few people I spoke to frequently (atheists) come to faith. Very powerful. Haven't had it happen on youtube yet, I just started youtube a few months ago.
@Tyler Miller Yeah, that's why the percentage of atheists in prison is 7 times lower than their percentage in general population, while for almost all religions it's about the same percentage (Islam has even several times higher percentages...). Thinking that murderers can be good people and should belong in heaven and that we have eternal souls is what makes religious people value human life less. They be like:" oh we're eternal I can't kill his soul and God can forgive me so it's not that doomed." It's the same logic why pilots are much more responsible than doctors. If pilots made as much fatal erorrs in flight as doctors do in operating rooms we would have full 250 Boeings 747 crashing every year...Why that isn't the case? Well, doctors usually have only 1 patient on a table/addmission and their actions don't affect their lives. Meanwhile, a pilot holds up to 800 lives in his hands INCLUDING HIS OWN. No matter what you say, the fact that you are Christian makes you value human life on Earth less. If you think this life is the only thing we got you wouldn't be talking about murderers the way you do. And again I'm not generalizing, there are shitty people being both atheists and theists, I'm just saying that an average atheist values individual human life more than someone who thinks we have eternal souls. I'm not saying that doctors are irresposible and Christians don't value human life but there is always something to compare to. So when an atheist is caught in that split second of anger to kill someone, he is much less likely to turn these into actions. Also an atheist father will never kill his son cause hes gay or shoo him away from the house...Religion/dogmas makes people do crazy stuff and value human lives on Earth less.
Not everyone convicted of murder is malicious. In some cases it may be that they were defending themselves from a dangerous burglar and they had no other option but to shoot them, but they live in a state where the law tells you that self defense isn't allowed and that you should either run for your life or accept death.
It is refreshing to see people who have the intellectual integrity to answer “ I don’t know”. I believe that this man may have profoundly different life experience than an average Christian. Furthermore, because of this experience he may be more grounded in reality than many Christians. Yet he can see the benefits of change that his faith has produced in his life and he CHOOSES to believe. If more Christians were similar I could think that many of the problems between atheists and Christians would not exist.
Lillian Horsley look I've been saying fuck god and treating him with disrespect for like forever not a damn thing happen to me 😂 I literally went to sleep in the church of god and didn't give thanks or money 😂
DOES GOD ANSWER PRAYERS? The short answer to this question is “YES!!!” God has promised that when we ask for things according to His will (what is best for us is His will), He will give us what we ask for (1 John 5:14-15). However, we may not always like the answer. We pray for a lot of things - - some good, some bad, some really pointless. But God listens to all our prayers regardless of what we ask (Matt 7:7). He does not ignore His children (Luke 19:1-8). When we talk to Him He has PROMISED to listen and respond (Matt 6:6; Rom 8:26-27). His answer may be “YES” OR “NO” or “WAIT, NOT NOW.” Our prayers should be focused on things that honor and glorify God. If we pray for something that dishonors God or is not His will for us, He is unlikely to give what we ask for. (God’s wisdom FAR exceeds our own, and we must trust that His answers to our prayers are the BEST possible solutions. When God has granted you your prayer, then you can be assured that it is His will. Nothing happens without God allowing it to happen. (Rom 8:28). When God says “NO” think about John Chapter 11 when Mary and Martha wanted Jesus to heal their dying brother, yet Jesus allowed Lazarus to die. Why did he say “NO” to these grieving women who loved him so much? Because he had GREATER things planned for Lazarus, things that no one could possibly have imagined. It is important to remember that God is ALL-KNOWING and is aware of the entire timeline of history. He KNOWS every possible outcome of every possible situation; we do not. He sees the “BIG PICTURE”, we merely see a partial brushstroke (Pro 3:5). When we get a “NO” we must TRUST that whatever we asked God for was not His will. It WASN’T RIGHT for you. God wants the BEST for our lives. He does NOT want us to suffer needlessly. Sometimes hearing “WAIT” is hard because it means we have to be “PATIENT”. We have to TRUST that HIS timing will be the PERFECT TIME. If you would like to discuss further my e-mail address is SheilaTruelove@yahoo.com or my contact number is (518) 250-8829.
I like this guy, although we differ in beliefs. He's logical-ish, he admits he doesn't know, and that's fantastic. And I can do the same, I disagree with some of your ideals but you seem like a great dude, keep on going
I am super happy I found a Christian that answers questions as best they can with no gaps or glossing over them. Thank you for giving us your side of the story. And thank you for showing me that you guys, Christians, can and will listen and give answers.

#5 it doesn’t matter if the atheist believes in heaven or not, he’s asking because you know if heaven or hell exists, he’s saying if there was. Way to avoid the question lmao. You avoided almost every question. Also, god is about having being good and spreading love, no believing in him, so yes the atheist would still go to heaven if it existed
Thanks for sharing your answers. One of my favorite things you said was, "Provide me with a different worldview that makes more sense." I appreciated hearing your thoughts on this stuff. Have a great day.
You, my friend, are a lovely and somewhat practical Thiest! Even though I do disagree with the majority of your talk, it's always refreshing to hear Thiests not trying to force their belief, guilt trip, etc.
I, as an atheist love the calm responses and how when he thinks it's up to god he says "I don't know" instead of "god works in mysterious ways" Great response dude
I like this guy man. Definitely an atheist here, but you're 100% the type of Christian friend I have back at home that I still catch a drink or so with :)
I like and appreciate what you said about the LDS missionaries. they are young kids just doing their best to serve God and the community. I hope when you bring them in to talk you have respectful discussions. I think these type of talks only bring good
Some curious follow-up questions to 8:02 (Q: "If God told you to kill your daughter, would you do it?" A: "No.") (Anyone is welcome to answer or share thoughts): 1. Do you believe God would ever command such a thing? Why? If he did, and you disobeyed, how do you think he would react? 2. Why do you believe it is okay to disobey God? If God is all-knowing, why would he command something that isn't the right thing to do? Why would it make sense for you, a human who is not all-knowing, to use your own judgment and disobey him? 3. Do you believe that morality is separate from God (which was implied by your answer to this question), then how do you believe your religion makes you a better person (6:18)?
I'm going to make a video response to this, as you're on some very very old videos and I'm due for an atheist response. I'll be sure to tag you so you're aware once it's up :)
I love the honesty in this video. I'm an atheist, but I was getting annoyed with the questions on prayer. It was the same question 10 different ways. Really great, honest video about how you see your faith.
Appreciate your honesty back, and I'm in agreement, it was rather annoying after the 3 question that was no different than the previous ones. Just padding to be able to have a higher number of question in my opinion. My whole gig is about being straight forward, that's why the majority of Christianity hates me ;P . and why I have so many atheist friends. I prefer atheists over lying self-righteous Christians. I've done several other responses to this guy if you wanna check them out. Much better than this one, this is quite old.
Tattooed Theist That's the thing. Being open and transparent with what we believe and why and at the same time, listenig to others is for me the best way to bridge gaps and to break down straw man stereotypes that are believed by so many on both sides.
I'm christian, and kinda agreed to most of your answer because most of them is the way I mostly lived right now. I just live they way I want to live, same goes to everyone. I really liked the way you answered them, and please answer back the way you think on this comment.
God answers prayer, prayer has a major effect today man. I have seen someone lay hands on someone and she was immediately healed from being unable to walk and lift her hands. If I pray for myself, that is not even close to being selfish. If I was sick with a stumach flu and I said Jesus please heal me do you honestly think He would call me selfish. I mean bro you are way way WAY off on the view of prayer. God is love. Hes said ask and it will be given to you, knock and it will be opened to you. God cares about everything, even the litter things. Whether its SPORTS or just doing well in a performance or whatever. And basically by saying if God told you to kill your child and you wouldnt is basically saying that you would intentionally disobey God. Jacob was going to sacrifice His son Isaac, but God stopped Him. Again, I dont think God will tell you to kill your son/daughter. Jesus is coming soon brother, too many signs are happening that point to His coming. Your not saved just by believing in God bro. That scriptures talking about believing in Him, believing that He died for your sin AND repent. There are people that believe in God but have not given there life to Him. God bless
I'm glad to have found your channel. You have an interesting and honest perspective on the practice of Christianity and the culture. I look forward to listening to more of your thoughts.
This is Hemant from Atheist Voice. Thanks for the response video. It's always nice to hear answers from people -- and get people talking about these questions -- even if I disagree with them!
I couldn't agree with you more!
Hemant Mehta I love the fact that you aren't attacking him and welcoming responses
hey i commented on your video and answered the 78 questions too check it out its one of the most recent comments
Hemants channel is the atheist voice
Hemant Mehta Glad you are a more respectful atheist I wish there were more like you. I wish there were more Christians who can talk to atheists and not be angry at them
I'm an atheist and it's nice to hear some honest answers even if I disagree with some of your views. good video budy. 👍
Glad you're here dude, I have a great respect for intellectual disbelief simply because I've been there - so you'll always get honesty from this guy :)
this guy asks a lot of dumb questions, I thought that when I first saw his video. kind of embaressing for atheist
Jake Hall agreed. He did another video explaining why the Bible is poorly written and it's really uneducated 😫
A lot of his videos are uninformed because he has to pump em out quickly. Some are pretty good
I am an atheist but I really appreciate your responses to these questions. And thank you for giving Christians a good and honest voice! Your understanding and acceptance of others is refreshing.
Appreciate the words Samantha, Exactly what you said is the reason I even waste my time doing this. Too many complainers and haters in the world. Time to chill and hangout.
:)
78 good, honest, and sometimes thought provoking answers. Being an atheist with a capital 'A' it warms my heart to hear you say "I don't know" to some questions rather than the usual "God moves in mysterious ways" get out jail card. Much respect.
it was more like 68
No, just no.
Yea i agree.
There were only a few bad answers but I respect what he believes.
Jesus is the only way the Jewish rejected him
Whoa, there are protestants who believe Jews go to heaven automatically? I have never heard of that one before. Interesting! Where in the bible do they get that understanding?
"If you were an atheist, why would you want to go to heaven anyway?"
Mainly because the only alternative is excruciating torture forever...
TheLegendOf Arthur yeah what type of response was that 😂😂😂
The alternative is better
But you don't believe in excruciating torture, do you?
But if you’re an atheist, don’t you not believe in God? If you don’t believe in God, doesn’t that mean that you don’t believe in Heaven or Hell either?
The question is about Christianity not about atheism. Stop sidestepping the hard questions.
I like this dude
I have big respect for these kinds of christian that doesn't shove their beliefs to anybody and doesn't threat people that they will go to hell not like crazy christians out there
Haha, well appreciate it man.
Couldn't agree with all of that more, :)
Jay DeBitDew * cough* Catholics * cough*
Bro I'm Christian and don't judge anyone of their belief, I don't understand this sort of stereotype, that is all
I'm not one of those so 😁
Jay DeBitDew people can't be forced to believe in something. They must choose to believe.🙄
No emotions in Heaven? So we are all lifeless people?
ikr
psychopaths aren't lifeless
In heaven we won't be urged to commit sin
I guess the strong love for my husband wouldn't be there anymore in heaven. That doesn't should like a place I'd want to spend 5mins in
Emotions are just place holders to summarize vast groups of knowledge.
Landon Hoffman there is emotions, the bible says we will rejoice
Romans 8:8 “the pain you’re feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming”
we will be joyful in heaven and i think what he is trying to say is “emotions” such as happy then sad then mad, that won’t exist, as we will just be rejoicing. in my words i’d put it as “no negative emotions” if that makes more sense :)
you lost me at 1:07
You believe there is a God and that Heaven and Hell exists.
Exactly.
templargfx it doesn't matter what Christians believe, god is the only one that qualifies to that question and can answer it himself. We cannot place our opinions and relate it as god's sceptical. In different circumstances god may or may not send an atheist to heaven or hell. Our point of view is at fault compared to god's.
Perhaps, but we are merely asking your belief, not for an absolute truth
Came to the comments to make sure this was said lol
@I'm here but they don't know if heaven exits
The Old Testament proves you wrong. God's own people didnt want believe. Have you heard of Jesus?
Romans 1:25
but sadly there's no proof of god.. YET
If you saw God, you’d die
It's to provoke thought about the matter. What are the criteria of going to hell? Too bad he didn't answer it.
hell doesnt exist , there is no forever hell , if you didnt understand that jesus is a god , you will be burnt , like there is some period of like few minutes when you will burning and be destroyed , I doesnt want to explain details , its such a waist of time , read the bible
well I still am wondering if tribes that hasn't encountered any Christians dies, where will they go?
@@PJResusMedia
Read the bible..
In response
In Christianity the ONLY unforgivable sin is the rejection of gods love, grace and his sons (Jesus) sacrifice
that’s why someone who identifies as an atheist is going to hell (that’s the hard truth) but all they have to do to be saved is to REPENT and BELIEVE (not through good deeds Ephesians 2:8-9)
Please I’m open to any questions
"We're all sinners" a Christian admitting that is awesome, respect.
"Answered 78 questions"
"First question - I don't know.
Most interesting questions - Dumb question"
Smh
How would any human know if Anne frank is in Hell. Nobody but God passes judgement in that regard.
sir, the question where he said "should a kind-hearted atheist be forced to burn in hell" i think you misinterpreted. Im pretty sure he means that if he died an atheist and it turns out that there IS a god on the otherside, should the individual burn forever in hell even though he lived a morally good life?, he didn't steal, murder, or did anything to affect another persons life.
Ashley Cantrell i think kind-hearted atheist dont need to worry. They have no god
they actually do have to worry...because we have all fallen short in God's grace..no one is perfect and all sin..the only way to the Father is through Christ..he died for our sins and taken our fall..all you gotta do is accept Him and repent and you're saved..thats why Christians try their best to put God's word out there
the thing is, why do we have to worry? there's no hardcore evidence that there is a God, and there's no hardcore evidence that the stories in the bible ever happened.

"78 questions for christians (answered)"
First answer he gives is "I don't know."
K.
Edit: Most answers were just "I don't know".... Pal, that's the point.
Well I don't believe in Hell. So if somebody asked me I'd say "No, she isn't. Nobody is."
My point was that he is going through and "answering" these questions, but couldn't answer most of them. These being questions critical of Faith in god, and lacking answers should cause someone to question that faith.
EdgeOf1996
Because we're Christians we should know everything.??
God isnt obligated to provide an answer for every issue
There are things beyond our understanding and things within our mental interpretation of the bible
Hence different denominations
Also.. Y'all shalt not queation the Lord
In the sense that he will open up to answers he is meant for u to see
He is alrighty and all knowing who r we to question his eternal plan and believe we know best beyond his goal for humanity
Therefore saying
One cannot give an answer for everything
That is y we need Faith
+Derv
"Because we're Christians we should know everything.??"
No, but the video is titled "78 questions for christians (answered)" and he didn't answer them. Do a little critical thinking on that next time.
"God isnt obligated to provide an answer for every issue
There are things beyond our understanding and things within our mental interpretation of the bible"
Coming from a god that nobody can speak to, that is a convenient answer to give when you don't have one.
"Hence different denominations"
An all knowing and all powerful god should not have multiple ways to interpret his message if it is so important.
"Also.. Y'all shalt not queation the Lord"
And I tell you "look for the ones you are not allowed to question, and you shall know who not to trust."
"He is alrighty and all knowing who r we to question his eternal plan and believe we know best beyond his goal for humanity"
Easy. Because the only thing giving you any proof that that is the case is an ancient book and a bunch dead theologians from thousands of years ago.
"Therefore saying
One cannot give an answer for everything
That is y we need Faith"
When are Christians going to stop using this? It's paper thin. An all powerful god who bases his followers in faith is not a god with enough evidence to justify his existence... as if you had enough evidence, you wouldn't need faith.
EdgeOf1996
U are atheistic, right?
As u might hav heard "people getting into spirit" or "people talking in tongues"
This is what opened my eyes again caz i was struggling and felt it wrong to b doubting him.
Here's y i did ask some of rhe questions previously
I do urge u to look out fr the signs of God. But at times u might ask ur parent for something outrageous or wrong
If it isnt within their wishes for ur life to go that way u cant merely get it caz u asked.. God granting a request like that could divert u frm his original plan so u dnt always get what u ask for
I prefer to ask God to do what he thinks is best in my life
i ask that u do pray
Pray continuously to ask for guidance to open your eyes to God's ways if that is something u are interested in ..if Christianity is answers u are actually looking fr
Another thing is the design.. Of everything
I want to b an architect
And as i sit in biology class
And i listen to all these things
It becomes straight out crazy
Everything has its function
As as little as this sounds
It plays an important part in life
It's crazy
There's an architect for this life
Ur brain has different parts
Fr different things
Your skin has different layers
Plants make their food
Animals eat plants
We eat animals
We die
Fertilize the earth and the cycle of life is evident
What did spark me was the appendix though
Scientist dont kno what it is for
But why should it have a purpose? Because everything has a purpose. The oceans and the land is crawling with new things to be discovered and it's amazing each with their own purpose. Just like a bathroom in a house. It's a beautiful world we live in darkened by sin.
Can u atleast agree though that sin is bad and rules such as the ten commandments are within moral implications? The world is a bad place.
And sorry for all this writing. I ddnt know what to say but then i felt the need to reply share my views. If u did read, thanks for reading.
+Derv
Yes I'm an Atheist
"Are u one of those who state that u need just one bit of evidence to convert?
If not.. What would?"
Ok, here's the short answer...
"Did u once believe then not anymore?"
I was. 19 years. I lived with the bible and Christians all around me. My dad went to seminar even. But ultimately there were too many problems like those I just listed to ignore.
"I ddnt want to b baptised just because he it wat i brought up under,i wanted answers for myself and a reason for myself."
I was baptized, what a crazy concept that just dunking my head under water did nothing in the grand scheme of my life.
(truthfully, I write long comments but there is a lot of material here. I'm going to have to skim most of this.)
"And sorry for all this writing. I ddnt know what to say but then i felt the need to reply share my views. If u did read, thanks for reading."
I read it, I'm only responding to some of it.
"I prefer to ask God to do what he thinks is best in my life"
If you have heard go speak then you should describe it in detail... lest it simply be what you wanted to hear only masquerading as god based off of culturally reinforced notions of god.
"Pray continuously to ask for guidance to open your eyes to God's ways if that is something u are interested in ..if Christianity is answers u are actually looking fr"
No it isn't.
Many of these are tough question, and I applaud you for giving your best answer.
thats not something that usually happens in just under 20 minutes. dropping ones faith is never a youtube video away.
U don’t drop a faith after one video. You never believed in that faith to begin with if u were so keen and easy to drop it
Hopefully you come back to the truth ❤
You have good intentions with this video, but I think you dodged the questions in multiple cases. Kinda disappointing.
Gar Nicht He did dodge most of the questions.
He gave honest answers I mean if you don't know the answer the only way to reply is I don't know
Would you of rather he just made something up when he is being honest?
@@grapeboi9256 Saying I don’t know isn’t avoiding the question. When he’s asked about non-Christians going to hell, and his reply is “why would they want to get into heaven anyway?”. That’s avoiding the question.
This guy is a very nice cherry picker,
Turner Page Your grammar amazes me😂 commas do not belong at the end of sentences. 😐
That's not grammar, that's punctuation...
Homie Sexual Nice observation bud👌🏾, with those keen ocular skills ya got there you could become a detective, I'm sure they'll hire you...😐
Alright? Thanks?
Homie Sexual Don't really know why you replied, but you're welcome...
I can't believe you pulled the whole "We'd show you evidence, but you wouldn't believe it anyway." card. That is a cop-out to a degree that I can't even remotely comprehend.
Let's Talk yeah its really stupid. Their own entire definition of “evidence” is very bad. Coming from a hindu perspective.
Hes right tho
Dbeaver0420 how???

Jesus, the true God of all, is appearing before many people in other countries today where Christians cannot reach them due to other violent religions hating on Christians (like extremist Islam). Many people have become Christians without being raised Christian to begin with.

*Revealing quotes by atheist evolutionists:*
_"Evolution is promoted by its practitioners as more than mere science. Evolution is promulgated as an ideology, a secular religion, a full-fledged alternative to Christianity, with meaning and morality. I am an ardent evolutionist and an ex-Christian, but I must admit that in this one complaint - and Mr Gish is but one of many to make it - the literalists are absolutely right. _*_Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today._*_ Evolution therefore came into being as a kind of secular ideology, an explicit substitute for Christianity."_ - *Michael Ruse* (atheist)
_"Most important, it should be made clear in the classroom that science, including evolution, has not disproved God’s existence because it cannot be allowed to consider it (presumably). Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such a hypothesis is excluded from science because it is not naturalistic."_ - *Todd, S.C.,* correspondence to Nature 401(6752):423, 30 Sept. 1999.
_"I am talking about something much deeper - namely, the fear of religion itself. I speak from experience, being strongly subject to this fear myself: I want atheism to be true and am made uneasy by the fact that some of the most intelligent and well-informed people I know are religious believers. It isn't just that I don't believe in God and, naturally, hope that I'm right in my belief. _*_It's that I hope there is no God! I don't want there to be a God; I don't want the universe to be like that. My guess is that this cosmic authority problem is not a rare condition and that it is responsible for much of the scientism and reductionism of our time._*_ One of the tendencies it supports is the ludicrous overuse of evolutionary biology to explain everything about life, including everything about the human mind. Darwin enabled modern secular culture to have a great collective sigh of relief, by apparently providing a way to eliminate purpose, meaning, and design as fundamental features of the world..."_ - *Thomas Nagel* (atheist) - The Last Word (1997) p. 130-131
_"Our willingness to accept scientific claims that are against common sense is the key to an understanding of the real struggle between science and the supernatural.

So yeah.

Christians: God doesn’t interfere with the world anymore.
Atheist: So why do you pray to him!
Christian:............. I’m an atheist now
(I know you’re saying you don’t think prayer does anything but this is for people who thinks it does)
The Flat Earth Christian. lol. I think your profile name is contradicting.
Are You Ducking Kidding it’s because he gave us free will and challenges that we have to pass as a test to see if we still believe in him

Title is misleading. Should be called 78 Questions for Christians (Dodged!) 78 Non-Answers for Atheists
Walter Brooks His answers were solid and respectfull
Omar Coronado Most were solid. Some I have to admit were very horrible answers but there were only like 2.
Omar Coronado respectful yes,good no
'Dodged!' - lol, the word I was looking for:D
When I have to take a piss I don't pray to go take a piss. That's my new favorite quote

Michael Li dont believe in religion believe In GOD and JESUS the way to GOD
If you wanted proof I would suggest looking at all the scientific discoveries the Bible made first. For example, in Job the idea of a free floating Earth, widely contradicted by mythologies, appears. Also, the Bible was one of the first sources to suggest that the Earth was round, not flat. If you want to know more look at. There's so much more if you go to this link. www.eternal-productions.org/101science.html
Thanks for being respectful.
Eric Voas the Greek scriptures have a lot more accurate scientific facts than Bible and those are way before Christianity existed.
I'm atheist cos I am a man of SCIENCE!
Of course, and yeah I think you'll find my content would be considered very controversial within contemporary Christianity :P
I'm an atheist and although I disagree with your views it's good to see people with different views that can have a friendly debate instead of an argument
I am an atheist and I like both of you. With your reasonning, I am thinking that one day you will join our club.
I was skeptical about your answers but after listening to your responses i really appreciate how respectful and honest you were. Thanks for sharing
It's just one of many examples from this video showing once again that believers are just crazy.

A Christian... questioning the validity of how a holy book was written... bruh
I’m an atheist and I have a question for you, it’s not about religion but here it comes. What do you think of K-pop music?
Trash.
But that's just my opinion, of course, I get why people like it. It's just not for me
As an atheist who is part of several debate groups where theist and atheist go at it pretty good, I have to admit that you are the FIRST theist that I've encountered that actually gives direct answers to direct questions. I think that your thoughts on prayer are in contradiction with what the Bible actually says though, which is yet ANOTHER reason why religion/Christianity/God, is a lot of makeup BS. Because you're right, he definitely doesn't answer prayer, although the Bible claims differently.
he answers just not in words.
@@dumbguy5435 lol. right. User name checks out.
Not sure why this has so many downvotes, I thought you provided your honest answers and kept everything civil between yourself and Mehta - kudos to both of you.
Here's my question for you:
Good questions.
:) (Matthew 7:11)
12- Nope.
13- I never thought of that actually, and I don't know. But perhaps there was an unwritten law, that people had to remember. Maybe parents told it to their children, and those children to their children? Maybe they asked themselves "Is this evil?" Very interesting question! I am not sure though.
Looking forward to your response :)
*Glory to God, not me.*
Thank you for your answers. Here are my responses.
*1- Not sure, perhaps when HE gave us free will.*
- But that's just speculation though and can apply to anything. Replace He with anything and it can still work, but doesn't mean it's true. For example "Not sure, perhaps when VISHNU gave us free will."
*2- Perhaps to let people have faith. If HE were to show HIMSELF and say "I am God believe in me or go to hell" then people would be greatly influenced to believe and not sin. That would be forcing in a way, which God doesn't want. That is why HE gave us free will, and why HE didn't create us as robots.*
- Same principle applies here. He can be anything and just speculative. It's the same as saying "Perhaps the aliens left us here." but doesn't mean it's true.
*3- If HE was evil, then HE'd have made a hell 1000 times worse and made our pain senses 1000 times worse and just put us there forever. Which obviously isn't the case.*
- Just creating humans and the forbidden fruit alone made him evil. Knowing full well what will happen. If HE is real though which I doubt.
*4- God is literally everywhere. HIS ability to know where everything is and see everything is infinite. HE is not limited by eyes like we are.*
- But that's just speculation again. You can say that to the millions of Gods humans have created. The Fairy God Mother is everywhere and will only be seen by Cinderella-type of people.
*5- We are made in God's image. We have free will, to sin or not to sin. Although I'm not exactly sure, you can ask HIM yourself if you believe in HIS Son Jesus Christ.*
- That's according to the man-made book. There are billions of stars outside of our galaxy. Surely there's more life out there. We cannot be so ignorant that we're special because we're humans.
*6- Not exactly sure, but HE is God. Why shouldn't we worship HIM?*
- My question is why he crave it. Something that can create doesn't automatically deserved to be worshiped. An abusive parent doesn't deserve their children's respect. Same should apply to any deity or any celestial dictator for that matter.
*7- Not necessarily, because all God did was give us free will, and we chose sin.*
- So it's not the parent's responsibility if their children get ran over by a speeding car for not looking after them? It's the same principle. God knew exactly what would happen according to his all-wise, all-knowing description.
*8- God is neither male nor female. Although we refer to God as male, I don't actually believe HE is either.*
- So Jesus is not a male either?
*9- No. The Holy Spirit impregnated her, not using a sexual organ. She is a virgin. The Holy Spirit could have easily just teleported Jesus into her womb...*
- How come this didn't happen when we have the technology to test DNA? Because if any woman claimed to have been impregnated by God today, we can basically do a DNA test to find the father. It conveniently happened in the primitive era.
*10- Yes they are all wrong. Does any religion have complicated prophesies like revelation 12:1 being fulfilled?*
- That's called a self-proclamation.
:) (Matthew **7:11**)*
- To love him out of fear? Because he basically blackmailed everyone with only two option. Love him or burn eternally in hell.
*12- Nope.*
- How did he do it then? Why did Jesus have to be born on a specific primate?
*13- I never thought of that actually, and I don't know. But perhaps there was an unwritten law, that people had to remember. Maybe parents told it to their children, and those children to their children? Maybe they asked themselves "Is this evil?" Very interesting question! I am not sure though.*
- Because the bible is not the basis of our morals. Humans have created morality through generations of rational arguments, reason and compassion. Not all gods or one god.
"God penis" absolute autism
Trust in Christ. God: "Listen Adam, you have free will, but you damn sure better 'free will' what I tell you to 'free will' or you will burn in hell for eternity"
I'm an a Christian,( agnostic if we need to put a label)and just watched that video on the atheist voice. As an Atheist, it's so refreshing to see such an honest and realistic Christian vocalising their thoughts the way you do. Respect.

That so many christians and other religious people stumble over this question is disturbing and its wonderful to hear you respond in a sane and clear manner.

@@LESANADAIf God exists then why doesn't he end all of the evil and suffering in the world?
These are the videos that I thrive for. I do appreciate you talking about the subject and not just speaking for all Christians and not putting them all in one group. Because once again it is one FAITH or RELATIONSHIP not a religion and many different opinions and people in the FAITH
Faith is the excuse people give to believe in claims for which there is no evidence.
Q. What would it take to change your mind about gods existence?
A. Provide me with a different world view that makes more sense
The Very next question
Do you think it's a little strange when someone says their gonna believe in something no matter what even when all the evidence points in the other direction. (or why believe in the world view that makes less sense)
Does this guy knows that tattoos are forbidden in the bible?
Does Sarah know that literally everything is forbidden in the Mosaic Law to which you are condemning me of? :) Take a Covenant Theology course and come back, God Bless!
Tattooed Theist Even if that's the case why do you have tattoos? Don't they feel uncomfortable? That's why god doesn't approve of tattoos, because it ruins the skin that he gave you.
Candy Ladder I'm pretty sure that if tattoos that are done correctly felt uncomfortable, millions of people wouldn't be getting them put on their skin permanently.
Tattoos hurt like hell.. lol
King Ar-Pharazôn ok. And how does this explain why some laws in the old testament don't count?
Thank you for making this video. I wouldn't call myself a Christian but I do believe in God. I've been bullied in school for liking God, some atheists can be cruel. :(
Are you a youtuber or a watcher
i'm dying when he said "i don't think god makes ppl gay or lesbian just like god didn't make me a drug addict"
wow this is a very interesting video. I respect you tattooed theist you are very smart and logical. As a skeptic/atheist you’re a very logical Christian.
This made me laugh a lot.
A question for you, how do you find atheist UA-camrs?
Have you had any conversions of faith from interactions so far?
I've been doing instagram longer, and I have had the opportunity to see a few people I spoke to frequently (atheists) come to faith. Very powerful. Haven't had it happen on youtube yet, I just started youtube a few months ago.
“I knew men that were murderers who were great people!” 😂😂😂
@Tyler Miller Yeah, that's why the percentage of atheists in prison is 7 times lower than their percentage in general population, while for almost all religions it's about the same percentage (Islam has even several times higher percentages...).
It was a wonderful surprise to see that you and Hemant agree on prayer!
God answers EVERY prayer, maybe not the way you like, but he still does.
Amen, Frenchy! God is good!
Long live Tattooed Theist and long live the growth of apologetics on UA-cam!
Ashley Shane So if I’ve been praying to be straight how exactly has he answered my prayers cause I’m definitely not straight?
It is refreshing to see people who have the intellectual integrity to answer “ I don’t know”. I believe that this man may have profoundly different life experience than an average Christian. Furthermore, because of this experience he may be more grounded in reality than many Christians. Yet he can see the benefits of change that his faith has produced in his life and he CHOOSES to believe. If more Christians were similar I could think that many of the problems between atheists and Christians would not exist.
How Christians answer questions
1) dodge it
2)Denie it
3)go on long rant of stupidness
4)Say you're going to hell
5)ask you a question
Justyyn Beckham and athiests basically do the same thing if u look at it from a Christians point of view... besides the burning in hell part.
Lillian Horsley what atheists you've been around?
Justyyn Beckham I mean all of them as a big picture and like I said in our point of view
Lillian Horsley look I've been saying fuck god and treating him with disrespect for like forever not a damn thing happen to me 😂 I literally went to sleep in the church of god and didn't give thanks or money 😂
6) Logically answer the question like this guy.
The only problem with saying that someone prayed and they grew back a limb is that we don't know if the healing is related to prayer
You tattooed your body? God ain't guna like that!
I am super happy I found a Christian that answers questions as best they can with no gaps or glossing over them. Thank you for giving us your side of the story. And thank you for showing me that you guys, Christians, can and will listen and give answers.

! *Thank you Tattooed Theist* for pertinent and thought-provoking questions; AND, Hemant for *taking the time to respond!!!* WHEEEEEEEEE … That ended too soon! *(remember, always leave them wanting more!!!)* !
God is VERY much for believing in Him - Christ says that very often.
Thanks for sharing your answers. One of my favorite things you said was, "Provide me with a different worldview that makes more sense." I appreciated hearing your thoughts on this stuff. Have a great day.
I think for you !
You, my friend, are a lovely and somewhat practical Thiest! Even though I do disagree with the majority of your talk, it's always refreshing to hear Thiests not trying to force their belief, guilt trip, etc.
I, as an atheist love the calm responses and how when he thinks it's up to god he says "I don't know" instead of "god works in mysterious ways"
Great response dude
god works in mysterious ways or saying god is sovereign is admitting we don't have the answer to your question in our book called Bible
I like this guy man. Definitely an atheist here, but you're 100% the type of Christian friend I have back at home that I still catch a drink or so with :)
I must say as a christian i dont know the 10 Commandments. Also i agree with almost everything said in that video. Love the tattoos
Agreed and appreciate it man!
Amen. I love this channel, Mitchell Kennedy!
Long live Tattooed Theist and long live the growth of apologetics on UA-cam!
I like and appreciate what you said about the LDS missionaries. they are young kids just doing their best to serve God and the community. I hope when you bring them in to talk you have respectful discussions. I think these type of talks only bring good
I still do this, that video is years old.
Became friends with a customer who I found out was LDS, she was a saint.
Your video title is wrong. More like your attempt to answer those questions. You did more to support the friendly atheist.
I love this. I have had a hard time finding a Q and A about Christian theology. I want to understand protestants better and so i appreciate it
If you send me a list - I'll make a video out of the questions.
Much respect to you for everything I've read from you.
Keep making vids these are good
Thanks Brother! :)
Amen! I love this channel too, Forgotten Knowledge!
Long live Tattooed Theist and long live the growth of apologetics on UA-cam!
Some curious follow-up questions to 8:02 (Q: "If God told you to kill your daughter, would you do it?" A: "No.") (Anyone is welcome to answer or share thoughts):
8:41
The Same reason why Im not a Cristian anymore.
Atheist: *asks question*
Theist: “yeah I dunno..all I know is that I’m right”
I love the honesty in this video.
Plus, I only prayed to say thanks, and mostly in important time of my life.
God bless
I am an atheist, but I can appreciate your views, and have a respect for your ideas
really enjoying your instagram and youtube channel man!
Nova Prime Thank you!
I'm uploading a video right now explaining my purpose and reason for what I'm doing to provide some background context!
Tattooed Theist sounds good!
Amen! I love this channel too, Nova Prime!
Long live Tattooed Theist and long live the growth of apologetics on UA-cam!

I appreciate that you will see logic and not just dismiss everything because you just know it to be true.

Amen!
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
when? soon? when is soon?
I'm glad to have found your channel. You have an interesting and honest perspective on the practice of Christianity and the culture. I look forward to listening to more of your thoughts.
