@@FlypSyde1111 Then he better understand his situation and know that as of right now, the Mets seem to be the only team to give that man some type of money lol
I decided to give you my take, _before actually watching the video_ So apologies in advance if I accidentally step on your toes. This standoff has a number of different cogs gumming up the works but for now let's just focus on the Pete perspective since that's how the caption is phrased. No one can truly know what's going on in another person's head for sure...but her'e my best _guess_ based on the evidence I've seen so far. His first season was _historic_ that's not just hyperbole it is a fact, a fact that's not lost on me the lowly fan, but unfortunately I don't think it was lost on Pete either. He see's himself as a direct competitor to Aaron Judge which kind of locks in his"Mets" identity. He see's himself as a MLB HR record setter and perhaps the greatest slugger ever by the end of his career. His attitude toward the All-Star game is my primary evidence. He has all his eggs in the "HR Legend" basket. (I would personally be embarrassed to show up to the AS game via ultimatum) The truth of the matter is he's not a very good hitter, he imagines he's better than he actually is. Smart money knows this, which is why he remains unsigned.
I NEVER reply to my own messages but after watching your video I realized I'm the guy that saw the UFO. Proof or STFU. Promise I didn't watch beforehand.😇 PS...Look for Verlander at the end of the "scrub" bench if he's not siggned by the time pitchers and catchers report.
First time checking you out. Gave you sub
A Championship Dynasty with the New York Mets!
