    It’s sad because she so worried about her having longer hair than other rather than her having healthy hair! I’m currently a cosmo student and I knew first hand when the video started she needed her ends clipped 🤦🏽‍♀️ idc how long my daughter hair is... if she need it, cut it! I think it’s because no one just tells them hair breaks. It can break even without constant heat exposure because of how you sleep or what you sleep on or if you anxiously pick at your hair and rip it out of your scalp lol if you don’t get your hair trimmed the breakage will continue and it will seem like your hair will never noticeably grow

    I recently had a client that was a teen. Her hair has been natural for 8 years and she hasn’t done very much to it besides a puff! She wanted it straightened, but she had horrible split ends and a lot of damaged areas that were very short and broken off! I pressed her hair and it was maybe BSL, but majority of her length were dead ends 💀🙅🏽‍♀️! She absolutely did not want to let go of it because of the length and it looked HORRIBLE. Some people prefer inches over health but no one is going to notice how long your hair is, they’re going to notice how damaged it actually is.

Its thoroughly irritating honestly that baby has gorgeous hair and it would have been worth the effort had she let the stylist trim all those crunchy ends. I used to have long long hair and learned the hard way not to keep my split ends. Now that I wear my hair shorter and my texture has changed I refuse to have split and crispy ends.

  • @TrievaTheDiva

    I am amazed at all these comments bashing the mom.. I am the first person to say "does it really need to be cut today and that much?" Those split ends have *Not* stopped her hair from growing and being super thick! Her hair is beautiful and if the mom wants to stretch out how long it'll be before getting it to better shape that is her right! Cause, it looks like a full 3 inches needs to come off.. (that is a cut, not a trim! For those that don't know) Instead of comment after comment about how better or healthier it would have looked if the mom had.. etc. I guess I will be the only one to say her hair looks good and the stylist did an amazing job for two very important reasons! #1 she did as instructed by her paying client! #2 despite the rough ends, her hair still came out pretty smooth! *Great job!*

    • @starr7093
      @starr7093 4 роки тому +1

      You dont know how long her hair has been that same length. And they might have not slowed her down yet, but after a while those ends will start to break off significantly, if they havent already. And whether its a cut or trim, she needs to ends to be cut. But nonetheless the stylist did a good job sticking to the clients wishes.

    Can’t tell mama nothing, especially when she sees how long her baby hair got, WITHOUT the trim. But never mind, you’re just the cosmetologist 🤔😭😂❤️ She’ll see when another 9 years go by and she stays the same length 🤷🏾‍♀️ No disrespect..☝🏾 Awesome job, beautiful baby, and hey maaaa!!👋🏾👋🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️

      No caso, não. Pois nos EUA, elas só secam o cabelo com uma escova raquete,e não o procedimento de brush (escova) como costumamos fazer. E depois,finalizam com alisar com prancha, corte de cabelo para tirar as pontas, e por fim,modelar novamente.
      Elas não fazem alisamento, escova progressiva,ou outro procedimento químicos. A única coisa que elas podem fazer, é coloração, mechas, platinado.
      Dão mais prioridade em cuidar, hidratar os cabelos , e quando querem um outro visual,fazem este procedimento.

      @@mclgn7495 eu acompanho vários canais de cabeleireiras como ela. Sou cabeleireira também, e a muito tempo sei que as negras americanas não são muito adeptas ao alisamento. São poucas que fazem no máximo, relaxamento. Antigamente, elas estilisavam seus cabelos com ferro Marcel. A prancha foi uma das melhores invenções que foi criada , para facilitar nosso trabalho,e no nosso dia-a-dia.
      Elas preferem manter seu crespo naturalmente,e se querem mudar o visual,sem precisar fragilizar tanto os cabelos, fazem este processo.
      O que diferencia de nós brasileiros, é que fazemos uma bom brush ( escova) para depois finalizarmos com a prancha.

    I kind of understand where the mother is coming from. I went to the hair salon and the hairdresser cut off my almost waist length hair up to my upper back. I barely had dry ends, she only needed to cut half an inch. Ever since then, I refuse to let ANY hairdresser cut my hair, I lost my trust. But cutting a little won’t kill you. She should just cut off the 2 inches rather than having to cut off more when the split ends start reaching up🤷‍♀️
