In this video we go over the Wade Shadow 5:
This model features a triple cushioning system - Cloud Plus midsole + BOOM insoles + bottom-hole midsole. On feet, they feel just alright since there’s not a lot of compression. It’s more on the responsive side versus being very soft and comfortable. Traction needs some break in time, but works fine on a dusty court after a while. I would strongly recommend going half size up for the best fit, and the best part about the Shadow 5 is the upper stability. You get a stable and secure ride but on the other hand, materials may be too hard or stiff for some players’ preference.

@@David-1216 You could. But you’re normally a 10.5 right? 11 is good enough they don’t have an 11.5 unfortunately.

These look like they’re inspired by interstellar which is dope. The logo on the side looks like the black hole, and it’s got “don’t go gentle into that good night” on the side
Love the vids, keep it up 👍🏼 Would love an on screen before and after dust pickup performance on traction which can greatly help visualize how traction can slip depending on the shoes ability to bite through dust

Traction wise I kinda disagree. Dust pick up doesn't really affect the traction performance of the shoe. I didn't even wiped the outsole while playing in these shoes on a very dusty court which is the norm here in the Philippines. Traction was already good right out of the box and it will get better as you break them in more. It's not iffy like you said.
Did you play outdoors? What store in the Philippines did you buy it from?

Are they good for wide feet? Bc I just bought one of the Wade sneakers and they run very tight. My feet were hurting bad on the court playing. Now I need to sell it. I wonder if all Wade sneakers run the same?
These are not. Their Fission 9 and 808 3 (regular version) are good for wide feet.

Hey, thank you!! That’s a great question, cause I was struggling to find a pair of socks that work well against the surface… I’d avoid thicker crew socks like Nike Elite, Way of Wade Elite, and instead go for thinner but sturdy ones like the Under Armour Playmaker crew socks.

Hey Tommy, I hope is well. Love the channel and videos. I have budget friendly Kyries and the first Westbrook's shoes and I wear them in 11.5 but lebron's I have to wear a 12. What would you recommend for Sonic 11's, Peak AW talent 1's or Li ning sharp 3 V2 sizing? I like my ball shoes snug but still have a little room length wise in the toe box. Thank you.

Hey tommy, if I usually wear a 10.5 in all my shoes (11 in Nike cause they’re usually narrow), what size should I get for the AR1? All they got is a 10 or 11
Hey, umm that’s a tough call cause I’m in the same boat and I went with a size 10 since they only had that at the time anyways. Length wise it’s good but width wise it’s snug - so you can decide based on your foot shape I guess. Maybe size 11 will be safer.

They’re quite different actually with different pros & cons. I still prefer the Shadow 4 for it being lighter and more breathable, but the 5 has better stability and torsional support.

Umm Fission 8 to me, but you can almost consider this a more stable and bulky version of the Fission 8. I think this looks much better though 😃
